Sir Rod Stewart will follow in the footsteps of Shania Twain, Kylie Minogue and Dolly Parton and take on the famous Legend slot on Sunday afternoon.
And we can reveal that X Factor star Lucie Jones will be performing at the iconic festival too.
Lucie, 33, who first rose to fame on the talent show in 2009, has had a lot musical theatre and West End success since her time on the programme.
And now, she will grace the the Glastonbury Music Festival stage on the Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings of the festival this June in the Astrolabe, nestled within the Theatre & Circus section of the event.
Glastonbury organisers expressed their enthusiasm as well, stating, 'We are thrilled to welcome Lucie to the festival. Her performances will enrich our diverse line up and cater to the many Musical Theatre fans that attend.'
They continued: "With musical theatre gaining an even wider audience thanks to the movie Wicked and the second instalment released this year, we were aware of Lucie playing the title role of Elphaba in the West End, in what was proclaimed as one of the most exhilarating performances in that role ever portrayed.
'It cemented that Lucie was the perfect fit to make Glastonbury history as one of the many highlights.'
Lucie played protagonist Elphaba Thropp in the West End production between 2022 and 2023.
Lucie first rose to fame when she competed on The X Factor in 2009.

Although she didn't win the competition, finishing in eighth place, she has since proven her talent extends far beyond reality TV.
Following The X Factor, she took on various roles in West End productions, and most notably, the coveted role of Elphaba.
Her portrayal of the misunderstood witch has garnered rave reviews.
She has starred in productions such as Les Misérables, Bat Out of Hell, and Rent, earning praise for her powerful voice and stage presence.
Lucie went on to compete in Eurovision back in 2017 where she finished in 15th place.
She blamed Brexit for her disappointing showing, where she didn't manage to get a single point from Germany or France.
In an exclusive interview just hours after the result, Lucie said: 'I had no idea how Brexit was going to affect the vote until I was there. I did notice lots of Brexit comments.
'I mean the Aussies were the only ones to give us 12 points out of everyone — now that was pretty awkward.'
As 2025 continues, Lucie is set to launch a podcast, and the star also has a a successful radio show on Magic FM, and bagged the starring role in the much-anticipated musical 13 Going On 30 at the Manchester Opera House.

'It's my whole world' Rose said of her company: "Aesthetics isn't just my job, it's my whole world. "I absolutely love it and adore every single one of you I meet day in and day out. "The confidence I bring you all makes me burst with joy." Sir Rod Stewart cancels gig hours before he's due on stage due to illness

The Maggie May singer said he isn't feeling well. Sir Rod Stewart has had to cancel his performance tonight just hours before he's set to take to the stage. The 80-year-old singer was due to be gigging at the The Colosseum at Caesars Place but has had to cancel due to being ill. Announcing the news on Instagram, Rod told fans: "I am sorry to inform you that I'm not feeling well and my show tonight at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is being rescheduled to June 10. Your tickets will be valid for the new date. Sir Rod." ‌ This is not the first time Sir Rod has had to cancel his Vegas shows as last summer he was forced to cancel a string of tour dates including his milestone 200th Las Vegas residency show. Rod's team said he had to miss the milestone show due to 'recovering from a summer strain of Covid-19. ‌ The Celtic-daft singer was set to bring his The Hits show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace to a close after performing at the venue across the last 13 years. However, Sir Rod withdrew hours before what was meant to be his last show at the venue, saying he was "desperately sorry". Just last week, Rod made a huge announcement about his Glastonbury performance that he will be joined on stage by his Faces bandmate Ronnie Wood. ‌ The rockstar is filling the coveted legends slot at the Worthy Farm festival, with headliners The 1975, Olivia Rodrigo and Neil Young also set to play over the course of the five-day event. Faces, who are best known for hits including Stay With Me, formed in 1969 following the split of Small Faces. The band was made up of bassist Ronnie Lane, keyboard player Ian McLagan, drummer Kenney Jones, Ronnie Wood on guitar and Sir Rod on lead vocals. When asked if he keeps in contact with The Rolling Stones' members and 'other people in music' whilst starring on That Peter Crouch Podcast, Sir Rod replied: "Not really. Woody (Wood) I do a lot, just recently, because we're going to do Glastonbury together. Elton, sometimes, you know, birthdays, but nowhere near how we used to. ‌ "I think probably because he doesn't drink anymore, and Woody doesn't drink, and I still do. They stay away from me. Bad influence." He also told the podcast: "I've done it (Glastonbury) before. I did it in 2002 but this is on the legend stage. ‌ "I was only supposed to play for an hour and a quarter, but I've asked them 'Please, another 15 minutes' because I play for over two hours every night and it's nothing, but yeah, looking forward to it." Sir Rod's Glastonbury legends slot will kick off at the traditional teatime on Sunday June 29, although the exact time is not confirmed until the complete timetable is officially announced by organiser Emily Eavis,. ‌ While the headliners and the majority of performers for this year's festival have now been confirmed, many fans have been left wondering who the secret set might be after Kasabian's memorable appearance last year. Speculated contenders are Mumford & Sons, Green Day, Sam Fender, The Cure and US rockers HAIM, but it's anyone's guess at this stage. Faces released four studio albums and toured regularly up until the band split in 1975 and Sir Rod went on to pursue his successful solo career. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community!
