Skechers' 'so comfy' £69 summer sandals under £20 with this money-saving trick
Skechers is known for its comfortable sandals, which are perfect for all-day wear and you can get a pair for less than half price
The upcoming arrival of summer means only one thing, it's almost sandals season. As much as they are ideal for the warmer season, they can sometimes be a little uncomfortable.
One such brand that has become famed for its ability to provide comfy and supportive footwear is Skechers. Although, like many major names, they can be a little out of budget for some of us.
Fortunately, Sports Direct has swooped in with some discounts on some of the footwear firm's sought-after designs including the "so comfortable" Skechers AF Sandals that are on offer for 50 percent less.
From the original price tag of £69, these have been halved to a mere £35. However, there's a trick to secure them at an even more appealing cost, reports the Manchester Evening News.
For newbies who sign up to TopCashback and make their first £15+ purchase as new Sports Direct customers, they're in for a treat—a free £15 bonus plus cashback on their buy.
Taking into account both the Sports Direct discount and the extra boost from TopCashback for new members, the cost of these popular sandals will effectively be reduced to just £19.42.
Offered in sizes three to eight, these Skechers sandals are available in a chic mocca colourway that you can pair with virtually anything this summer, whether that be with swimwear at the beach or with your favourite shorts during the day.
With their slip-on style design, wide upper strap and chunky sole, they are sure to be a lot more comfortable than those flimsy flip-flops we often associate with the warmer weather.
Even though there is no full product description online, the design advises that the sandals do boast Skechers' popular Arch Fit technology, meaning the "contoured" foot-bed features podiatrist-approved support.
Perfect for those who struggle with any form of foot pain issues, the patented technology "moulds" to the shape of the foot, helping to reduce shock and increase weight dispersion when walking.
As of writing, the AF Sandals have only earned one review, which is a glowing five-stars, as it reads: "So comfortable! I love Skechers flip flops for the summer."
It should be stated, though, they are thong-style flip-flops, potentially not everyone's cup of tea if more support is what you're after.
Fashion deal of the week
Ahead of the summer season, Urban Outfitters has just knocked £20 off a popular dress - and it's perfect for weddings.
The high street retailer's Light Before Dark Bex Printed Midi Slip Dress has rave reviews from shoppers who say it is "flattering in all the right ways". Usually retailing at £62, shoppers can bag it ahead of the warm spell for just £42.
The midi-length dress boasts a few "romantic" details that make it perfect for wearing to fancy functions you have planned. This includes the all-over rose print and delicate lace detailing that both add a touch of femininity.
With its slip-style silhouette, lightweight material and shoulder straps, it is the ultimate breathable and breezy layer for the summer season. A classy v-neckline, cut-out back detail, side zip fastening and rear button fastenings complete the design.
Designed in a baby pink colourway, the Printed Midi Slip Dress will suit pretty much all skin tones and shades. It's also still available in quite a few sizes, with XXS to XL available on the Urban Outfitters website.
The dress averages a 4.3 rating on the Urban Outfitters website, and one glowing review read: " This dress is so gorgeous on! Definitely hugs your figure soooo nicely."
A second delighted shopper wrote in their review: "Fits really well, perfect for summer wedding."
Purchase the Light Before Dark Bex Printed Midi Slip Dress for £42, down from £62, on the Urban Outfitters website here.
If this is the case, then a suitable alternative would be these F-MODE Go Webbing Sling Sandals that are priced at £60. Available in black and beige, they feature a three-strap design that might be more comfortable than the thong-style of the Skechers.
For those who don't mind that design, then another option that will help promote comfort and support are these Getaway Platform Flips from Crocs that cost £44.99 in three different colours - black, quartz and hydrangea.

'I've found a linen dress that 'skims mum tum' and is 15% off'
The London-based retailer Boden has slashed the price of its latest womenswear collection by 15% - and the discount code is available to use now. And there's one piece that's been a hit with shoppers The celebrity-adored fashion label Boden has cut a 15% off their new-in womenswear just in time for summer. And there's one particular number that's been turning heads, with customers raving about the shower of compliments they've received, particularly noting how the dress 'skims the mum tum'. Ideal for summer weddings, getaways and any event you could imagine this sunny season, the Anya Sleeveless Linen Dress is being coveted by fashion fans. Boasting a chic and effortless style perfect for sweltering days, its sleeveless design and short hemline will ensure wearers stay breezy and graceful no matter the temperature. Crafted from a blend of 80% linen and 20% recycled linen, complemented by a soft cotton lining, this frock was originally priced at £126, but can be snapped up for a £107.20 with a discount code. Anyone who uses JM7D at the virtual tills will see £18.90 shaved off the price tag. However, if this Boden number isn't quite your cup of tea, or out of budget, there are loads of other linen dresses up for grabs on the high street, such as this Green Abstract Linen-Blend Palermo Mini Dress, available for £55 from Nobody's Child. Elsewhere, Next also has this Cream and Green Palm Floral Scoop Back Mini Shift Dress on offer for £38. Despite its higher price point, the Boden number has earned its stripes with praise for its 'flattering' fit-and-flare design. It even features a self-tie belt which brilliantly cinches in at the waist while elegantly draping over the midriff. One customer said: " So flattering. I got so many compliments on this the first time I wore this." Another added: "I'm 5'4", size 14, mid-40s mum-of-two and my stomach shows it, but not in this dress. Really flattering, and whilst I'd prefer a V-neck, it skims the mum-tum and fits well and is well made and fully lined,' reports the Manchester Evening News. Coming in a size range from 4 to 22, it features discreet side pockets and a gently tailored sleeveless top, the versatile piece can be dressed up or down with ease, making it perfect for everything from office meetings to summer weddings. The dress falls just above the knee, making it an excellent choice for both work and weekend wear. A glowing five-star review read: "I got the brown polka dot style and I love it. My husband also thought it looked amazing on. Would be totally appropriate for work with a cardigan and totally perfect to dress up and down for the summer. Love it!' "I am 5'3" and ordered 6R and 6P. I haven't ordered petite sizing before from Boden but glad I did on this dress. It fits perfectly and the length is just above my knees. Not too short and I think appropriate for work as well. It's very flattering," another customer shared. However, some customers have been left pining for a longer version, particularly those who prefer a bit more coverage. One wrote: "I would love to have kept this dress but just felt it was too short for me. Please make it in a long version. Style, quality of material and make up are excellent and I love the spotted chestnut colour. "A bit pricey but I would have paid it if it had fully suited me. Seemed to be suitable for all occasions, casual or formal. I'm 5ft 4 and size 14. It came to my knees which it's supposed to do but I would prefer it a little longer. Sadly had to return it." The Anya dress from Boden comes in five different colourways, with one shopper loving it so much she said: "I would buy this dress in all colours. Nice fabric and colour. Fits perfect." It comes in a poppy red and pink ornamental floral, as well as chestnut with polka dots, gallery blue, foliage scatter and for those who would prefer to forego a print, a plain rose pink. Fans of the frock can shop the Boden dress here.

I just bought a second pair to wear as foot relief after a night out. These are beautiful, and I highly recommend them." Another shopper described them as 'so comfy,' adding: "Bought these for a recent holiday to Lanzarote and so glad I did. I was a little sceptical to whether or not they would be comfortable for walking any distance beyond round the pool but I wore them every day, round the pool walking to and from the beach, a good 2 miles each day and they were absolutely brilliant, super comfy and perfect for what I wanted. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and I would definitely buy them again. I don't like toe post flip flops so these sliders are spot on for me." Another shopper shared: "Wear them all the time, easy to walk in, comfortable, and just rinse to freshen them up." However, one shopper noted: "They are comfy, just wish the width was a bit bigger," with many shoppers suggesting to size down as the shoes ran larger than expected. Myleene Klass wears lycra unitard to head to work at Smooth radio - after announcing surprise career move
Myleene Klass turned heads in a figure-hugging outfit as she was pictured arriving at the Smooth Radio studios on Thursday. The radio host, 46, strutted through central London in a black lycra unitard which showed off her incredible physique. Carrying a bouquet of flowers in one hand and a duffel bag over her shoulder, the presenter wore dark sunglasses and a Skechers cap. The Skechers brand ambassador completed her look by slipping into a pair of all white trainers by the same label. And the star seemed in great spirits ready for her latest radio show, offering a beaming smile as she posed for photos outside the studios. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Her appearance in London comes on the same week Myleene revealed a surprising new career move. Posing in her new uniform, the 46-year-old shared that she is now a trained volunteer with St John. Announcing that she has passed the course, Myleene captioned her post: 'Check out my new office! 'Thank you for your countless messages of love and support. Im so proud to be a part of the @stjohn_ambulance family, serving my community officially and as ambassador. I don't think anyone (myself included) realises how much work and study goes into it. 'It's easy to take the guys in green coats for granted thinking they just volunteer for events and sporting fixtures, but honestly, the practical and written exams, the A&E doctors training and testing you, the kit prep alone and the weekly top up reminder classes, whilst alot are also massively reassuring, and all actions are carried out with dignity to the patient as the priority at ALL times. 'I can safely confirm, you and your loved ones are in the best of hands.' Myleene, who has spoken openly about women's health issues in the past, opened up last week about 'feeling exhausted' after noticing she's been experiencing the symptoms of perimenopause. Before splitting with ex-husband Graham Quinn in 2012, they had two daughters, Ava, 17 and Hero, 13.
