Huawei hosted its Cloud Fintech Summit Egypt 2025 in Cairo on Monday, focusing on advancing Egypt's digital transformation in the financial technology sector through secure, high-performance local cloud infrastructure. The summit was held under the theme: 'Huawei Cloud: Becomes Egypt's Premier Fintech Partner with a Local, High-Performance Cloud." It brought together Fintech companies, startups, and technology providers to explore ways to accelerate growth, innovation, and digitalization in the country's financial sector. During the event, Huawei Cloud showcased its latest cloud-based solutions to support financial institutions and startups, focusing on artificial intelligence (AI), big data, database management, and cybersecurity compliance. The company emphasized its commitment to strengthening Egypt's Fintech ecosystem by offering cloud services tailored to local needs. Moreover, Huawei has previously supported startups in Egypt through initiatives like Flexus, a next-generation cloud computing suite launched at Cairo ICT 2024.
