Aamir Khan says he was 'blackout' drunk on his 60th birthday after quitting alcohol, doesn't remember what his family members said about him: 'I'm an extreme person'
Aamir Khan
celebrated his 60th birthday in March. It was that day when he also introduced his girlfriend Gauri Spratt to the media. That night when he turned 60, his family members and very close friends organised an intimate birthday party for him.
The actor admitted that he has cut down on alcohol immensely, but that day he did drink and he has no memory of what happened later.
Khan who is gearing up for the release of 'Sitaare Zameen Par', said during a chat with Mashable India, "Everyone organised a birthday party for me on my 60th. They invited all my near and dear ones, it was supposed to be a memorable day. I don't drink much these, I've cut down alcohol consumption to almost zero.
But that day, because it was a big birthday, everybody insisted that I have a drink or two. The thing with me is that I'm not someone who restricts himself; I'm an extreme person.
And because I haven't been drinking much, my body wasn't used to it. We started at around 7 pm, and by 9 pm, I knew that I was buzzing.'
He added, 'This has happened to me a few times. When I woke up the next morning, I had no memory of the previous evening.

There were videos and photos, and they told me that everyone said nice things about me, but I didn't remember anything. It was a blackout. I was conducting myself normally during the party, but I have zero memories of my 60th birthday celebration. I was reacting to what people were saying about me, but the memory has been wiped out completely.
'
A few years ago, Aamir had confessed that he is now sober due to his past experiences with alcohol. He had said that he took to alcohol in depression when he separated from his first wife Reena Dutta. Aamir said during a chat with Instant Bollywood, "I couldn't sleep at night, and I started drinking. From someone who didn't drink at all, I went to being someone who drank an entire bottle in a day. I was like Devdas, someone who is trying to destroy themselves.
I did that for 1.5 years. I was in a deep depression."

She added, 'I have never worked with him or even met him, but I think he is a fabulous actor. He also has a charm that makes his co-actors comfortable. Imagine doing a romantic song with him in a sari!' Talking about her love for saris, the actress shares, 'I love saris, they make you feel feminine and complete. I have worn them to the most unexpected places. Once, I wore a sari to a pub. I had come from a function wearing one of those heavy saris, and I ended up going to a pub after that. I was, of course, a little conscious because I was the only one wearing it. I just grabbed the gher, tucked in my pallu and danced on Ghoomar (from Padmaavat). Later, people came up and complimented me.' In an earlier chat with us, Anupria opened up about how the digital boom gave a push to her acting career. She said, "I am really happy to have got an opportunity to play these prominent roles in films like Tiger Zinda Hai, Padmaavat, War among others. Ex-girlfriend of Aaron Rodgers reacts after he confirms secret marriage: "It's really just harassment"
Aaron Rodgers confirms he's married—ex-girlfriend breaks silence (Getty Images) Aaron Rodgers, one of the NFL's most iconic quarterbacks, has always made headlines—both on and off the field. On Tuesday, after completing his first official workout with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Rodgers finally put long-standing rumors to rest regarding his relationship status. The speculation began swirling last month when he was spotted at the Kentucky Derby sporting a ring on his left hand, triggering questions about a secret wedding. Those whispers only grew louder when the Steelers posted a photo of him signing his one-year deal while wearing what looked like a wedding band. Aaron Rodgers secretly married months ago—ex-girlfriend finally breaks silence with a surprising reaction Aaron Rodgers ended the mystery in a low-key but definitive way. 'Been a couple of months,' he said when asked how long he's been married. And just like that, fans knew—he's officially off the market. His wife's identity, however, remains under wraps. Back in December, the four-time MVP revealed on The Pat McAfee Show that he was dating someone named Brittani. That appears to be the relationship that led to marriage, although Rodgers hasn't offered more details. Before tying the knot, Rodgers had a well-documented history of high-profile relationships. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Men Over 40 Are Dumping Viagra After Trying This $5 Game-Changer FridayPlans Learn more Undo He dated Danica Patrick, was engaged to Shailene Woodley, and was also linked to Mallory Edens—daughter of Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Wes Edens. The rumored romance with Edens never reached official confirmation, but her name re-entered the spotlight following Rodgers' surprise marriage. Edens, a Princeton graduate and prominent Instagram influencer, didn't stay entirely silent amid the storm. But rather than addressing the relationship speculation directly, she spoke out against the invasive nature of the media frenzy. 'Tracking down somebody's cellphone number, calling them at all hours of the day and asking for a comment on a gossip magazine story isn't journalism, it's really just harassment,' she wrote in an Instagram Story. In the same post, Edens added, 'If we work together and you can't reach me, I'm sorry — please shoot me an email and I can share my new number.' The message suggests that the attention got so intense, she had to change her phone number to escape the chaos. Over the years, Edens has made a name for herself beyond being linked to famous figures. With experience at top modeling agencies like Ford Models and Women Management, and a growing online following, she's carved out her own space in the public eye. Yet her message was clear: even public figures deserve boundaries. Meanwhile, Rodgers seems content to keep his personal life shielded from the spotlight. With a new chapter unfolding in Pittsburgh, the future Hall of Famer appears focused on football—and maybe a bit of peace and privacy too. Whether he chooses to open up further or not, it's clear that both he and Edens are drawing their own lines in a world that rarely respects them.
