Bankrupt influencer Christie Swadling welcomes first child with fiancé Joel Price - after being roasted for her 'bizarre' pregnancy announcement
The 28-year-old influencer shared a gallery of maternity content to social media on Tuesday night, confirming she had given birth to a healthy baby boy.
One heartwarming clip showed her newborn lying peacefully on her chest as they rested in the hospital's maternity ward.
Christie looked focused in the sweet footage as she tenderly cradled her adorable bub, whose name she is yet to reveal.
She captioned the footage with some heartfelt words: 'Only place he will sleep. I'm so in love. I had a fully unmedicated birth.'

'Birth story is wild and keen to share. But for now I'm just gonna stare at him all night and be in my newborn bubble.'
In October, Christie was roasted after announcing her pregnancy with her fiancé.
The influencer shared a video to Instagram, which showed her placing red roses in front of a large glass sign that read 'Baby Price, Due May 2025'.
'Words can't describe our happiness right now. Baby Price Due May 2025,' she wrote in the caption.
However, some fans questioned the 'bizarre' video and said it looked like the couple were announcing a loss.
'It looks like a grave stone,' one person wrote on social media.
In her post, Swadling explained she was preparing to start her IVF journey when she took a pregnancy test.
'A day before we had an appointment with our Dr to start our IVF journey I went to take another pregnancy test from feeling ALL the symptoms known to a pregnant woman,' she began.
'Joel has been my biggest supporter through this journey and I've known since day one he is who I am doing life with, I am so excited for this new chapter of our life.'
Last year, the controversial influencer opened up about her fertility journey with her followers.
In a video shared to Instagram, she revealed she was going to see a doctor to get some tests done.
'I have had some hormonal issues and I have only started to get a regular period again. Joel and I are trying to have a baby, we haven't had much luck,' she said.
The announcement comes months after Price was served with a restraining order and charged with domestic violence-related common assault.
Price, 38, was served an interim Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) by NSW Police on behalf of Christie in April. He pleaded not guilty to the assault charge.
Daily Mail Australia understands the matter was heard in court on August 6.
In 2022, Swadling filed for bankruptcy after racking up a pile of debt she can't pay back.
Documents leaked online in February 2023 showed the social media star was in financial strife, even though she projects a lavish lifestyle on social media.
It was revealed she was bankrupt after an anonymous user on the Tattle Life forums paid $15 to obtain the paperwork on her bankruptcy filing.
The Instagram model listed her job as an 'advertising and marketing professional' in the publicly available document filed on December 29, 2022.

The three celebrities confirmed their participation in an announcement shared on Wednesday's edition of The Scott Mills Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2. Ellie is a model, actress and influencer who became the first model with Down syndrome to grace the cover of British Vogue. Additionally she has featured in campaigns for Gucci, Adidas and Victoria's Secret, while maintaining an ambassadorship for the learning disability charity Mencap. She said: 'I'm absolutely over the moon to be joining the cast and pros of Strictly Come Dancing this year. He said: 'Swapping the pitch for the ballroom is certainly not something I've done before but I'm looking forward to tackling a fun challenge! Aikines-Aryeetey, known for his alter-ego Nitro, was the first celebrity revealed to taking part in the new series, after competing on the Christmas Special last year. His involvement was revealed in a prank to CBBC Newsround viewers, after the BBC had previously said the first stars taking part would be revealed much later in the day. Flexing his reputation as a star of Gladiators: Epic Pranks, Aikines-Aryeetey, 36, appeared live in the Newsround studio disguised as 'world-famous choreographer Nicky Trott', there to talk about his recent work on a scientific study into the benefits of dancing. His disguise was not enough to fool Newsround presenter Jenny Lawrence though, who quickly rumbled who she was really talking to. Aikines-Aryeetey then gave the real reason he was there: to tell the world he's taking part in the new series of Strictly Come Dancing! Aikines-Aryeetey is an Olympian, multi-gold-medal-winning Team GB sprinter, and star of Gladiators. As a sprinter he has competed at the highest level in the UK since his youth, becoming the first athlete to win gold medals at both 100 and 200 metres at the World Youth Championships, and winning the 2005 BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year award aged 17. Aikines-Aryeetey has gone on to win gold in the 4x100m relay at the European Championships and at the Commonwealth Games. He has competed in two Olympic games and is a three-time European Champion and two-time Commonwealth Champion. In 2023, Aikines-Aryeetey was unveiled as Nitro in the hit BBC series Gladiators, and he took part in last year's Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special partnered with Nancy Xu. On joining Strictly Come Dancing, Aikines-Aryeetey said: 'After the Christmas Special, it was so nice I just had to do it twice! I'm so excited to be part of the Strictly family this series and I'm ready to give it all I've got. 'I'll be bringing tons of energy to light up the dance floor. Let's hope I'm as quick picking up the routines as I am on the track.' On Sunday it was reported that Natalie Imbruglia and Delta Goodrem are 'in negotiations' to take part in the show. A new report suggested the two Australian stars are both in talks to appear while another former Neighbours star - Stefan Dennis - is also said to be in the running. A source told The Sun: 'Talks are at a point where things could go in a number of different directions but if both celebrities signed up then that would be seen as quite a coup for the show. 'Delta and Natalie would bring some glamour to the programme, and be some of this year's most eagerly anticipated competitors. 'If all three former Neighbours stars end up performing, the Strictly dance floor will end up looking more like Ramsay Street.' Strictly's new series has been hit by a string of scandals in the lead-up to its return, including revelations that the broadcaster had hired a law firm to probe allegations of drug taking by two individuals. One of the stars involved in the drugs probe was also suspected of drinking while working on the show after crew smelt alcohol on their breath. The Sun alleged that it was widely known that the pair, who have not been named, took the Class A substance, and that one of these Strictly performers was known for being a drinker. The publication have now reported that junior members of the team were asked to keep an eye on them during last year's show and to look for signs that they may have been boozing during work hours. Over the weekend, a staffer also claimed they were offered cocaine by one of the show's stars. He told The Sun: 'The main partying is on site at Elstree after filming of the live show has finished. Boozing and drug taking goes on until 3am, sometimes 4am. The smoking area outside is a hive of activity. Cocaine gets taken there'. He went on to claim that drug use was so common on the show, that when he found a suspicious bag of white powder, an unfazed senior producer told him to 'leave it on my desk' as the incident failed to raise even an eyebrow. The staff member also said the show's annual special filmed at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom was an especially 'big party night' full of debauchery. 'I was offered cocaine by a star at an after show party. Lots of people would go back to the hotel. It was a closed-off party, just for the cast and crew. It went on until 5am, even to 6am, it was insane. People were wired and you could see it in their eyes'. A BBC spokesperson told Daily Mail: 'We have clear protocols and policies in place for dealing with any serious complaint raised with us. We would always encourage people to speak to us if they have concerns. It would not be appropriate for us to comment further.' The shock allegations come amid a long period of controversy for the BBC and Strictly over the past year or so. In July last year, more than six months after quitting the show citing 'personal reasons', actress Amanda Abbington accused pro dancer Giovanni Pernice of 'unnecessary, cruel and mean behaviour' during their time dancing together on Strictly. Giovanni rejected the claims immediately, and a BBC investigation ruled in September that her claims of physical aggression and threatening behaviour were not upheld. When BBC bosses published their report into Giovanni's behaviour, it cleared him of the most serious allegations of physical aggression, but upheld verbal bullying and harassment. Complaints of verbal bullying and harassment meant the BBC issued an apology to Amanda, but Giovanni said he was 'pleased the report has not found any evidence of threatening or abusive behaviour '. Elsewhere, the show was plunged into crisis after Welsh opera singer Wynne Evans made a controversial joke during his time preparing for the Strictly tour in January. He used a vile sexual innuendo and was also caught up in a 'wandering hand' incident with dance partner Katya Jones , who seemed to remove his arm from her lower waist on the show. After the BBC launched an investigation into his conduct, bosses decided not to renew his radio contract for his show. The TV star confirmed in May that they will not be renewing his one-year rolling contract following a four-month investigation after the inappropriate comments made during his time on Strictly. Elsewhere, in further scandals for the BBC, Gregg Wallace was recently dismissed from MasterChef after more than 40 complaints against him were upheld following a BBC investigation. While his co-star John Torode was also sacked after two decades over allegations that he used the N-word, which he claims to have 'absolutely no recollection' of. In separate further controversy, it's recently been reported that Naga Munchetty could face an investigation from BBC bosses after she was accused of bullying a junior colleague. The BBC Breakfast host, 50, has been placed 'under review' while bosses consider escalating complaints to a formal investigation, The Sun reports. A source said higher-ups had heard from several colleagues and logged concerns over her 'hard' and 'bullying' behaviour on the breakfast show, as well as her Radio 5 Live show.

Inside Yahoo Serious' Hollywood downfall, from having the world at his feet in a $3 million mansion with his glamourous wife, to living out of his car at age 72
In 1988, an unknown bloke with a strange name from Australia's coal-mining heartland became the toast of Hollywood. Yahoo Serious blazed to international success with his film Young Einstein - which he directed and starred in - making $20 million at the box office. His professional relationship with his movie-making collaborator Lulu Pinkus - herself an acclaimed Australian actress and artist - had blossomed into romance. They married in 1989. Yahoo was on top of the world, with US media describing him as 'the next big thing from Down Under'. Which makes it all the more shocking that almost 40 years later, he is understood to be homeless in Sydney after being evicted for illegally squatting in a Palm Beach mansion. The 72-year-old was forced to flee with his Jack Russell terrier Jingle after police were called to help his landlord kick him out last Tuesday. Serious left an array of items behind in his ageing BMW sedan, which lies abandoned outside the Barrenjoey Road home, including a box of Jingle's medication, Ugg boots, a length of rope, an esky, and a cooking pan. It's understood he may still be on the city's northern beaches, given his longtime affinity for the area. In much better times, the then Mr and Mrs Serious owned a stunning house on Norma Road, which overlooked the postcard-perfect biscuit-coloured sands of Palm and Whale beaches. The four-bedroom, three-bathroom home featured a pool with a stunning vista over the Pacific Ocean, which the couple sold in 2011 for $3.1 million. It's now estimated to be worth $5.8 million. Ms Pinkus and Serious split in 2007, after working together on Einstein, Reckless Kelly (1993) and Mr Accident (2000). On his website, Yahoo described Lulu as 'My partner in everything. She is an extremely versatile artist. Lulu works so silently that few people are aware that every character and every scene is so enriched by her critical eye and deft touch.' They divorced in 2010. It's not known why they split, but it appears to mark the beginning of Serious' downward spiral. Ms Pinkus has fared far better since the divorce, moving to a waterfront apartment overlooking Sydney's Double Bay, which she bought for $1.5 million in 2011. Today, it would be worth around $2.9 million. He once lived on Palm Beach's Norma Road, with stunning views over the Pacific Ocean She was not at home when Daily Mail approached her for comment on Tuesday. Serious, apparently attached to the northern beaches, rented an apartment in Avalon, which he was evicted from in 2020 for not paying rent - and was ordered to pay his landlord $15,000 in arrears. Not long after, he was homeless and living out of his car with his dog at Palm Beach, using its public shower block for his ablutions, when kindhearted local Margie Charlton took pity on the ageing former star. She told the Daily Mail in June that she invited him to live in the granny flat at the home of Palm Beach resident Charles Phillip Porter, for whom she held power of attorney. Ms Charlton, who lived in nearby Avalon, explained that while she took care of Mr Porter's cooking and cleaning, she wanted someone around to keep an eye on her ageing charge when she wasn't there. She said it was made clear to Serious that the offer only stood until Mr Porter was moved to a nursing home when his dementia advanced so far that living in his mansion was no longer feasible. She would then need Serious to vacate the property so she could sell it to help with Mr Porter's care. But when the time came, Serious not only refused to leave - he had moved from the basement into the main house. This kick-started an ugly battle between Serious and Ms Charlton in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal, which came to a head earlier this month. Serious was ordered to leave by August 4, and after an altercation between him and Ms Charlton on August 5 - in which he claimed she was being violent, which Ms Charlton vehemently denies - police turfed him out. In the days before his eviction, Serious claimed he was not squatting, but 'surviving'. It is understood he has been receiving treatment for Lymphoma, and indeed in the past year has appeared a shadow of his former self. 'I'm greatly improving, I was very close to death very recently … I just, I'm coming good but I'm having trouble with just, recall of day to day things,' he said during his tribunal appearance. In 2016, he underwent debilitating hip surgery. A quirky website registered to Serious in 2000 - the same year he tried and failed to sue the search engine Yahoo! for trademark infringement -provides an insight into his chaotic mind. After growing up as Greg Pead in NSW's Cardiff, near Newcastle, he explained on his site why he changed his name by deed poll in 1980. 'Each day there are a million choices to be made starting with what you put on your toast. You're born with a name but so what?' he said. 'You can choose every other aspect of your life, so why not your name?' In an undated interview posted to his site, Serious said he sees himself as, 'Nasty, untrustworthy, rude, unreliable, and childish'. A perhaps foreboding sentence uttered years before he left a trail of furious landlords in his wake. Now, grave fears are held for Serious and his dog Jingle's wellbeing. When he was forced to leave the Barrenjoey Road home, Sydney was suffering through days of cold rainstorms. Neighbours did not know where the fallen Hollywood star and his faithful dog went after being kicked out, and his car remained untouched a week after the eviction. A Daily Mail search of the Palm Beach area - where he once enjoyed prime position in the home he shared with Lulu - turned up no sign of Serious or Jingle.

Jodie Whittaker is far too good for this contrived Aussie thriller
You'd be forgiven for thinking you've seen something like this before, as the Australia-set thrillers have been coming to our screens thick and fast recently (see also The Last Anniversary, The Secrets She Keeps, Apples Never Fall). This one, which had a brief showing on Paramount+ in 2023 but is now on ITV1, stars former Doctor Who lead Jodie Whittaker. Sadly it's so lacklustre that Whittaker might wish that she'd opted to eat kangaroo genitalia on I'm a Celebrity with Ant and Dec instead. Since hanging up her sonic screwdriver, Whittaker has spread her wings in eclectic roles. She played an imprisoned single mother in gut-punch BBC drama Time and was the standout star of Netflix's factual drama Toxic Town. Here she loses her native Yorkshire tones to adopt an Australian accent. I'm no expert in Antipodean linguistics, but she does a decent job. Set on the stunning New South Wales coast, One Night follows three women – Tess (Whittaker), Simone (Nicole da Silva) and Hat (Yael Stone) – who remain haunted by a harrowing event during their teens. Twenty years later, Simone writes a thinly disguised novel about that fateful night. It reopens wounds in cathartic ways. There's the germ of an interesting drama here about trauma and truth, justice and healing. But whenever it looks about to emerge, it gets bogged down in repetitive flashbacks or clichéd contrivances. Supporting characters are uniformly ghastly – either leering small-town gangsters, spoilt kids or self-serving adults. Worst of all, there's a fatal flaw at the heart of the story. Simone stole Tess's tragedy for her own gain, yet we're supposed to sympathise as she makes her friend's pain all about her. Stretched out over six episodes, One Night moves with all the urgency of an asthmatic koala. With its ocean views and high-flying female friends, it's a try-hard Sydney spin on Big Little Lies. Whittaker is rawly convincing as a sexual assault victim whose repressed memories come bubbling to the surface. Tess is a mass of body issues: bulimic, covered in tattoos, prone to pulling her hair out. There's a wordless scene in the finale where Whittaker acts her socks off with facial expressions alone. It's just a shame the script isn't in the same league as her performance. One Night is available now on ITVX and begins on ITV1 on Saturday 16 August at 9.30pm
