Liverpool on brink of stunning Alexander Isak BARGAIN
Liverpool are reportedly moving forward on a move for Alexander Isak. And it would be a bargain. The whole world knows Liverpool want to sign Alexander Isak. What we don't all know is exactly how likely that is. LFC Kits Shop Now LFC x New Era Shop Now LFC Signed Merch Shop Now LFC x Titleist Shop Now Isak certainly wants to move and that's one part of it. Newcastle United, though, understandably don't want to sell. But it sounds like Liverpool are making some sort of progress. Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany claims there's an actual agreement with Isak on terms. "Understand: Alexander Isak has already reached a verbal agreement in principle with Liverpool over a contract running until 2031," he wrote on Twitter. But there's a more interesting part of his tweet. One we didn't see coming and that suggests the Reds may be banking a bargain here. Alexander Isak agrees terms Plettenberg claims Isak will earn a similar wage to Hugo Ekitike on moving to Anfield. That's a surprise, given Isak's reputation far exceeds that of the Frenchman. Now, Sky Germany have previously reported that Ekitike will earn around £245k per week at Liverpool. If Isak truly is earning similar, that's drastically down on the £300k per week he's reportedly asking from Newcastle right now (Talksport). The ultimate transfer fee will not be a cheap one, of course. Liverpool would likely break the British record in order to sign Isak.

Liverpool EMBARRASS Arsenal in deal for 40-goal wonderkid
Liverpool's summer transfer window has reached historic proportions. Florian Wirtz has arrived for a British record sum - which could reach £116m - while Hugo Ekitike, Milos Kerkez, Jeremie Frimpong and Giorgi Mamardashvili have also come on board. The Reds have spent over £260m thus far - all signings being expertly overseen by sporting director Richard Hughes. But the Anfield club won't be stopping there. LFC Kits Shop Now LFC x New Era Shop Now LFC Signed Merch Shop Now LFC x Titleist Shop Now Alexander Isak is firmly in Liverpool's sights - and could be available for £130m to £150m. That would be a landmark signing - beating Wirtz's British transfer record after only a matter of weeks. However, Liverpool are not ONLY focussed on the here and now. Certain signings have been made with the future in mind - as the acquisition of goalkeeper Armin Pecsi proves. Liverpool signing the best young talents Liverpool are capable of setting out a comprehensive development plan for young recruits - emphasised by the breakthrough of Rio Ngumoha during this preseason campaign. And the Reds have repeated the trick with the signing of Salford City striker Will Wright. The 17-year-old will come in for a £200k fee from the League Two club - even though Arsenal offered MORE. The Gunners thought they had secured the signing of the young forward - who scored over 40 goals at various levels for Salford last season. Nonetheless, Wright preferred Liverpool - enticed in part by the vision for his future that the club set out. Will Wright attracted by Liverpool offer That's according to a new report in The Times, which claims Wright will be placed with the club's youth and underage sector. 'Arsenal had appeared to lead the chase for Wright after agreeing a deal at a higher price,' the report reads. 'Crucially, however, the player preferred to move to Merseyside, partly for geographical reasons but also because of the attractiveness of Liverpool's project, and so Salford were forced to accept a lower offer.' There is no doubt that Arsenal have a decent academy pathway - exemplified by Bukayo Saka, Myles Lewis-Skelly and new sensation Max Dowman. But that wasn't sufficient for Wright to resist the lure of the 20-time English top-flight champions. Liverpool have certainly managed to get one over on the Premier League runners-up - making a mockery of Arsenal's attempts to seal a deal for one of British football's outstanding young talents.
