Speech event in Dhamar to commemorate tenth anniversary of National Resilience Day
Dhamar - Saba:
The Local Authority and General Mobilization in Dhamar Governorate organized a speech event to mark the tenth anniversary of National Resilience Day. Several local and security leaders attended.
During the event, the governorate's General Mobilization Officer, Ahmed Al-Dhorani, reviewed the sacrifices made by the Yemeni people in confronting the aggression since March 26, 2015. He noted that the steadfastness of the Yemeni people over a decade has thwarted the aggression's plots, which sought to undermine the September 21 Revolution, impose guardianship, destroy infrastructure, and control the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
He also addressed the crimes and violations committed by the coalition since the first day of the aggression, emphasizing that the aggression announced by the Saudi ambassador from Washington is being repeated today by US President Trump, confirming that the aggression is American-inspired, and that Saudi Arabia and the UAE are merely its tools.
He emphasized that commemorating this anniversary is a celebration of the steadfastness of the Yemeni people in the face of a coalition that brings together all the forces of evil in the world. He emphasized that the continuation of American aggression today, due to Yemen's supportive stance toward Palestine, will not deter the people from their religious and moral commitment to the Palestinian cause, regardless of the sacrifices. He also called for continued general mobilization and preparedness to confront challenges, emphasizing that the sacrifices made by the Yemeni people over the past ten years will not be in vain, no matter how much the aggression's raids, massacres, and siege escalate.

Sana'a gov sends Eid gift convoy to frontline fighters
Sana'a – Saba: The local authority in Sana'a governorate on Thursday dispatched an Eid gift convoy to support frontline fighters on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. The convoy, a collective contribution from the Executive Office and residents across various districts of the governorate, included 20 heads of cattle and 250 heads of sheep. Governorate undersecretary Talib Dahan described the convoy's dispatch as an expression of loyalty to the sacrifices of the martyrs and the steadfastness of the heroes. Dahan affirmed their commitment to following in the footsteps of these fighters in confronting the "forces of tyranny and global arrogance" until victory is achieved. Dahan emphasized the dedication of the local authority leadership, the Executive Office, and all residents of the governorate to continue providing "convoys of sacrifice and giving." He framed this as a sacred jihadi duty and a contribution to confronting the "aggression" and thwarting its plans, which he stated aim to subjugate Yemen to the fate of other nations that have "normalized relations with the Zionist entity." Yahya al-Shaabani, Director of the Governorate's Welfare Division, and Ali Othman, the convoy supervisor, stated that the convoy represents the least that can be offered to those who are sacrificing their lives in defense of the homeland, its sovereignty, and independence. They affirmed the continuation of support and generosity convoys for those on the ground, commending the heroic deeds and victories of the armed forces' heroes on various fronts in defending the homeland and its sovereignty, as well as supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza, who they noted are subjected to massacres and Zionist crimes with American and Western support. Kremlin: Putin told Trump Russia will respond to "Kyiv" over airport attacks
Moscow – Saba: Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the Russian presidency (the Kremlin), confirmed on Thursday that Russian President Vladimir Putin informed his U.S. counterpart, Donald Trump, that Russia intends to respond to Kyiv over the "terrorist" attacks carried out by Ukraine on several Russian airports. When asked by journalists whether Putin had indeed told Trump during their conversation that Russia would retaliate for the attacks on its airports, Peskov replied, "Yes, absolutely," according to Russia's Sputnik news agency. Peskov added, when questioned about whether the tone of the Putin-Trump conversation had shifted from previous talks and whether it was less friendly: "Here, you might be asking more about the emotional undertones. The conversation, I repeat, was constructive, and perhaps it's not logical to focus on its duration. Sometimes, important matters can be addressed in a shorter timeframe—which was the case yesterday." He noted that the discussion between Putin and Trump was "constructive and necessary," adding, "The two presidents indeed discussed many fundamental and important issues." Peskov stated that there are no agreements between Presidents Putin and Trump to arrange a meeting. He further emphasized, "During yesterday's phone call, U.S. President Donald Trump said he had no information about the preparation of this terrorist act by the Kyiv regime. But if we speak broadly about the international assessment, we would naturally prefer to hear at least a strong condemnation of this terrorist act." Peskov confirmed that Russia's response to Ukraine's "terrorist strikes" on Russian airports would be determined by the military in whatever manner it deems appropriate. When asked whether the Kremlin would cut off communications with Ukraine if Kyiv repeated attacks on civilian targets, Peskov told reporters: "As you know, during yesterday's meeting, our Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov expressed the view that, despite everything, working-level communications should continue. The president supported this position." U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that he had held a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin, noting that the conversation lasted one hour and 15 minutes. On his Truth Social platform, Trump wrote: "Just finished a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The call lasted one hour and fifteen minutes." He added, "They discussed the attack on Russian aircraft by Ukraine, as well as various other attacks from both sides." Trump continued: "The conversation was good, but not the kind that would lead to immediate peace. President Putin also strongly emphasized that he would have to respond to the recent attack on the airports." Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)
