Jordon Hudson shares critical feedback toward podcasters after tense phone call revelation
Charlotte Wilder and Madeline Hill, the co-hosts of "The Sports Gossip Show," recently revealed they spoke to Hudson about coming onto their show and that she introduced herself as "the president of your universe."
Amid the descriptions of how the call went down, Hudson shared critical feedback of the episode in which Wilder and Hill described the conversation with Hudson as tension filled.
"This was such a disappointing take for me," the Instagram user sportslawheather wrote on their Instagram Stories. "'She shouldn't because the money/fame means more to someone else?? Because of her boyfriend??' Be real.
"Do I have to seriously argue against (female! Sports journalists that (Hudson) has is justified in pursuing Miss Maine USA, Miss America for her own career and interests regardless of who she is dating."
Wilder and Hill both initially thought Hudson wanted to speak about the Miss Maine USA pageant. Wilder revealed Hudson was, at one point, yelling at her and crying and the talk later turned contentious. She added that it "felt like we were always waiting for the other shoe to drop."
The sports podcasters talked about their interaction with Hudson in one of their latest episodes.
Hudson became a focal point of the college football offseason for a hot minute when she abruptly cut off a CBS interviewer's line of questioning toward Belichick about how they met. It started a firestorm of criticism toward Hudson and Belichick.
But Belichick has made clear that Hudson has no role in the football program.
"That's really off to the side. That's a personal relationship and she doesn't have anything to do with UNC football," Belichick told ESPN back in May.
"I'm excited to be back in the coaches' meetings and getting ready for June and August when we get to training camp. June will be a big recruiting month for us and then August we start getting ready for the season."

Packers injury update: Green Bay missing five key wide receivers for Colts joint practice
The Green Bay Packers pass catchers are walking wounded as they start joint practices with the Colts. Matt LaFleur's team is in Indianapolis taking part in a joint scrimmage ahead of their preseason game on Saturday, but the Packers are shorthanded at wide receiver, with five of their top six missing practice with injury. Romeo Doubs is the latest addition to the absentees list after suffering a back injury on a collision with Evan Williams at practice in Green Bay earlier this week. Head coach Matt LaFleur confirmed Doubs' injury is not serious, and he was in contention to practice on Thursday before ultimately being held out. The other four Packers receivers missing the joint practice are Christian Watson (knee), Jayden Reed (foot), Dontayvion Wicks (calf) and Savion Williams (shoulder). Reed has made progress and is now out of the walking boot he was spotted wearing during Green Bay's preseason opener versus the New York Jets, but is clearly not ready to practice. Wicks has been out since late July with the calf while Williams has been in and out as he works his way back from offseason shoulder surgery. Watson is still rehabbing from the torn ACL he sustained in the regular season finale in January. The laundry list of injuries means Matthew Golden is currently the Packers' de facto wide receiver one and looks to be making the most of the opportunity, winning both his one vs. one reps against Colts defensive backs in impressive fashion. Malik Heath and Mecole Hardman are Green Bay's next best options behind Golden at present, with a gaggle of young wide receivers behind them in newly signed Jawaan Baker, Julian Hicks, Cornelius Johnson, Isaiah Neyor and Will Sheppard. Meanwhile, starting quarterback Jordan Love is present in Indy but is not practicing after having surgery to repair a ligament issue in the thumb on his non-throwing hand. He was seen wearing a cast on his left arm as he arrived at the practice. LaFleur told the media the surgery 'went well' and while he will not throw right away once returning to practice, the team anticipates Love will have 'some sort of participation' with the team next week. With so many receivers missing, as well as the starting quarterback, the Packers endured some unsurprisingly disjointed periods of play against the Colts starting defense on Thursday. Detroit Pistons 2025-26 schedule takeaways: What you need to know
The Detroit Pistons' full 2025-26 schedule was released Thursday, August 14. They will look to build on a surprise 44-win season that ended with a gut-wrenching first-round exit to the New York Knicks that saw them lose all three home games in a winnable series despite no Jaden Ivey or Isaiah Stewart (besides Game 1). Here are three takeaways from the Pistons' 82-game regular season schedule, which has them on a national broadcast 16 times. They will be in the national spotlight Last summer, the Pistons were granted a single game on ESPN following a franchise-worst 14-68 season. They picked up more games on national TV as the season progressed and morphed into a playoff contender, and that trend has continued into the upcoming season. The Pistons are currently scheduled for 16 national games, including four on ESPN and two on NBC. They also will have six games streaming exclusively on Peacock and four games streaming only on Amazon Prime. Peacock, the streaming platform for NBC, will feature the Pistons three times within their first 11 games, all at home — against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Oct. 27, in Peacock's inaugural Monday doubleheader (7 p.m.), Dallas Mavericks on Nov. 1 and Washington Wizards on Nov. 10. The Pistons will face the Atlanta Hawks on the road on NBC and Peacock on Nov. 18, and again Jan. 10 when they host the Boston Celtics. Their ESPN games are scheduled for Nov. 26 on the road against the Celtics and at home against the Cavaliers on Feb. 26, Hawks on March 25 and Milwaukee Bucks on April 8 in the season's third-to-last game. Pistons' first 25 games feature an Eastern Conference test The Pistons' first 25 games include three against the Bucks, two each against the Orlando Magic and Hawks and one against the Cavaliers. They comprise most of the teams they will primarily be battling for home-court advantage in the playoffs, with both the Magic and Hawks expected to take a leap forward coming off of an active offseason. That stretch also includes two games against the Philadelphia 76ers, who could reemerge as a contender depending on Joel Embiid's health status, and two games against the Indiana Pacers, who could still be in the playoff mix despite losing Tyrese Haliburton to injury and Myles Turner to the Bucks in free agency. The Celtics also appear twice, though they will take a step back with Jayson Tatum injured and most of their key veterans departed. By early December, the Pistons will have a good idea of where they stand in the East. ANALYSIS: Eastern Conference power rankings: Pistons in position to move up standings Knicks return to Detroit in January A rivalry between the Pistons and Knicks brewed during their six-game playoff series in the 2025 first round, and fans at Little Caesars Arena greeted the road team with deafening boos — and obscene chants — that came through loud and clear on the TV broadcast. The Knicks will play in Detroit twice, on Jan. 5 and Feb. 6. The Pistons will round out the three-game slate in New York a couple weeks later Feb. 19 at Madison Square Garden, where they won two of three in the postseason. Peacock will air the first game, and Prime will carry the final two. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Kiss as She Jokes Podcast 'Got Her a Boyfriend' After He Used It as 'Personal Dating App'
Taylor Swift reminisced about how Travis Kelce attempted to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it NEED TO KNOW Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce shared a sweet kiss when talking about how their relationship came to be The singer-songwriter joked that the tight end used New Heights as his "personal dating app" when he tried to give Swift a friendship bracelet at her Kansas City Eras Tour show Swift and Travis began dating not long after he told his brother Jason about it on their podcast in July 2023 Taylor Swift sealed her New Heights debut with a kiss. During her first-ever appearance on the podcast hosted by her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother, Jason Kelce, Swift, 35, packed on the PDA with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end — and told fans about how their relationship came to be. Throughout the episode, the trio discussed reclaiming her masters and her first date with Travis, 35, among other topics. Meanwhile, Swift leaned into Travis, who called her "sweetie" in a teaser for the New Heights episode. They sat close together and appeared to hold hands while exchanging glances as well. Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. The 14-time Grammy winner shared that the podcast "has done a lot" for her. "I owe a lot to this podcast. This podcast got me a boyfriend ever since Travis decided to use it as his personal dating app about two years ago," Swift quipped, referring to Travis calling her out on New Heights in July 2023. He attempted to give Swift a friendship bracelet, which are shared at her concerts, with his phone number on it. Jason, 37, asked if the friendship bracelets were that good. "Did you give the friendship bracelets or was that just on the podcast?" The "Cruel Summer" singer said she never got it, joking that Travis threw a "man tantrum" over not being able to see her. Swift teased Travis for his disappointment when he tried to meet her at her Kansas City Eras Tour show. "This dude didn't get a meet and greet and he's making it everyone's problem," she quipped. "That's what I thought at first... You realize he didn't even reach out to our management. He came with Pat [Mahomes] and he thought that because he knows the elevator lady, that he could talk to her about just getting down to my dressing room."She also likened Travis' act to something from "an '80s John Hughes movie," alluding to Say Anything. "He was standing outside of my window with a boombox saying, 'I want to date you! Do you want to go on a date with me? I made you a friendship bracelet! Do you want to date me?" During an episode of New Heights two summers ago, Travis told Jason about his failed attempt to give Swift his phone number on a friendship bracelet. "I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings," Travis said at the time. He added that he was "butthurt" for not getting the opportunity to pass along his phone number on the bracelet. "I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it." Travis jokingly concluded that he "took it personal." Swift and Travis began dating in summer 2023 and have been supportive of each other's respective careers. Also while on New Heights on Aug. 13, Swift announced her 12th album The Life of a Showgirl and gave viewers a peek at the tracklist and artwork for the record, coming out Oct. 3.
