Loop Fans Launches Free Website Builder to Help Musicians Monetize Beyond Streaming
Ibiza, Spain, August 4, 2025 -- Loop Fans, a new digital platform created by veterans of the music and blockchain industries, is giving independent musicians a better way to earn a living. With its free musician website builder, the company helps artists sell directly to fans and grow their careers without relying on low-paying streaming services.
Streaming platforms like Spotify and YouTube have made music widely accessible—but they've left many artists behind financially. Loop Fans addresses this by offering musicians a free, all-in-one toolkit to build professional websites, launch online stores, and monetize their content and community directly.
Artists can sell music downloads, merch, tickets, vinyl, and even digital collectibles like NFTs or fan tokens. The platform also makes it easy to build and engage a loyal fanbase, with tools designed to reward 'superfans'—the top 1% of fans who often contribute the most support.
'The current system is broken. Artists create all the value but see the smallest share,' said Tom Norwood, Co-Founder of Loop Fans. 'We built Loop Fans to flip that model—so artists can own their audience, their store, and their future.'
One Platform, All the Tools Musicians Need
Loop Fans combines the best features of traditional site builders, e-commerce tools, and fan platforms into a single experience designed specifically for music creators. With no coding needed, artists can set up:
Unlike generic platforms, Loop Fans is music-first—providing the flexibility to sell anything from a vinyl album to a tokenized backstage pass.
Superfans Are the Future
The platform taps into a growing trend in the music industry: direct-to-fan monetization. As more artists recognize the power of superfans, Loop Fans offers ways to build those high-value relationships through exclusive content, gated access, and personalized rewards.
Web3 features are completely optional, meaning artists can use traditional tools or experiment with NFTs as they choose. It's a modern approach with room to grow, whether you're releasing your first EP or managing an established brand.
Musicians can explore examples of websites for musicians or start building their own free musician website in minutes.

Saturday's Lotto jackpot estimated at £7.3m after no ticket wins top prize
Saturday's lottery jackpot will be an estimated £7.3 million after no players won Wednesday's top prize. The winning Lotto numbers were 17, 31, 47, 05, 58 and 09, while the bonus number was 35. No players matched all six main numbers, meaning the jackpot was missed, while no ticket-holders won £1 million by matching five of the six numbers plus the bonus ball. Set of balls L3 and draw machine Lotto3 were used in the first Lotto draw since the National Lottery paused over the weekend to enable the biggest technology upgrade in the game's 31-year history. In Lotto HotPicks, which uses the same numbers as the Lotto draw, no players matched all five numbers to win the £350,000 top prize. Two ticket-holders won £13,000 each after matching four of the five numbers. The winning Thunderball numbers were 19, 02, 27, 03 and 38, and the Thunderball was 11. No ticket-holders won £500,000 by matching all five numbers plus the Thunderball. One player matched all five regular numbers, which earned them £5,000.

Lyft misses quarterly revenue estimates on competition, weak US travel demand
(Reuters) -Lyft missed second-quarter revenue estimates on Wednesday, weighed down by intensifying competition with Uber and weakening U.S. travel demand, sending its shares down about 9% in trading after the bell. Larger rival Uber Technologies, which offers ride-hailing, food and grocery delivery business globally, issued an upbeat forecast for the third-quarter earlier in the day, thanks to its efforts to boost engagement across its unified platform. Lyft's revenue of $1.59 billion in the second quarter missed estimates of $1.61 billion, according to data compiled by LSEG. The company recently completed its nearly $200 million acquisition of European mobility platform FreeNow and has signed a deal with China's Baidu to introduce the search engine giant's robotaxis in the region. Lyft on Wednesday also announced a partnership, set to launch later this year, with United Airlines that will allow the carrier's customers to earn rewards on all Lyft rides. With partnerships including DoorDash and Chase already in place, Lyft's entry into Europe positions the company to extend such collaborations into international markets. Lyft said it expects gross bookings to be between $4.65 billion and $4.80 billion for the third quarter, well above estimates of $4.59 billion. With growth stagnating in major U.S. metros, ride-hailing companies are shifting their focus to medium and smaller car-dependent cities to tap into new markets and drive revenue. Lyft recorded an adjusted core earnings of $129.4 million in the second quarter, above the average estimate of $124.5 million. It forecast current-quarter core earnings of $125 million to $145 million, largely in line with Wall Street estimates.

Liverpool set to bank €100m for star forward
Liverpool always try to get the best deal they can and Richard Hughes is a tough negotiator. Arne Slot has told us in the past about how strategic Liverpool were in their pursuit of him to become their new head coach and all of the right questions were asked to tempt the Dutchman to move. When it comes to bringing in players, Slot is now one of the main negotiators, showcasing his project for the club and giving players a clear idea of what their involvement would be to bring success. 🔴 Shop the LFC 2025/26 adidas away range In terms of player sales, however, Hughes is still heavily involved and tiny little details in agreements such as sell-on clauses and buy-back clauses are massive for us to keep the upper hand in deals. Luis Diaz to Bayern was a better deal than we thought The Colombian's departure to Bayern Munich was polarising for some fans, given how important he was to the team last season and in general his 22 goal contributions were a reasonable return. But since he was 28 years old and nearing the end of his contract, with Liverpool unwilling to offer him a new deal, the opportunity to sell was not something the Reds could turn down, especially not for the £65m (€75m) package that the Germans offered. It's was an extraordinary deal to agree. Cody Gakpo and up and coming talent Rio Ngumoha will be able to lock-down the left-hand side of the attack this season in his absence and the club's net transfer spend fell massively as a result. Furthermore, new signing Hugo Ekitike has also proved that he can play on the left-wing occasionally, although his main role will be playing as a striker, potentially alongside Alexander Isak.
