Former West Coast Eagles player Brad Sheppard and his wife Ellen are expecting their first child.
The retired AFL player, 33, shared the exciting news to social media for Mothers Day on Sunday.
He posted a precious picture of him and Ellen posing up a storm together at the beach at sunset, as he held onto their sonogram photo.
Brad was all smiles as he posed next to his beautiful wife and cradled her growing stomach, while she showcased her baby bump in a figure-hugging yellow dress.
He captioned the post with some heartfelt words: 'The most exciting chapter yet'.
Many of Brad's footy friends took to the comment section to congratulate him on the amazing news.
'Congratulations, you'll be the best parent,' gushed West Coast Eagles star Nic Naitanui's fiancée Brittany Bown.
'So excited for you both,' added Eagles midfielder Elliot Yeo's partner Tess Goodbody.
In July last year, Brad and his nutritionist partner got married in a stunning Western Australian ceremony.
The pair announced the happy news to Instagram alongside images of the glamorous occasion.
Overjoyed by their union, the new bride captioned her reel of glowing snaps with: 'The best day of our lives 27.7.24.'
The lovebirds shared their nuptials in front of friends and family as they overlooked the sea at picturesque Gnarangannie in Broome where they live.
Ellen stole the show in a stunning strapless gown from Pallas Couture which featured a daring leg slit which highlighted her timeless strappy heels.
She posed up a storm with her handsome husband, who rocked a classic tuxedo, as they snapped some loved up photos in front of the sunset.
Several videos and photos of the reception showed the pair then partying up a storm with all their loved ones.
Guests took to a huge outdoor dance floor where they hoisted the bride and groom onto their shoulders to dance.
Ellen and Brad got engaged in May 2023 when the former footy player got down on one knee at a beach.
They started dating in July 2020 when Brad moved on with Ellen following his split from Scherri-Lee Biggs.
The Eagles player found love with the brunette after breaking up with the Channel Nine weather presenter in December 2019.
Brad hinted he was in a new relationship at the time by tagging Ellen in a romantic Instagram story.
He shared a picture of homemade cupcakes with icing that spelled out the words 'welcome home'.
Ellen appeared to have surprised Brad after his return to Perth from the Gold Coast, where the Eagles beat Adelaide Football Club that year.

Sydney Sweeney shows off the 'biggest smile' as she unveils 'dream come true' project after shock makeover

Sydney Sweeney got to check off one of her biggest dreams with a new project she revealed to her 25.2 million Instagram followers on Thursday. The 27-year-old Euphoria star — who recently debuted a startling makeover — shared that she was launching a new line of tasty frozen treats with Baskin-Robbins in her post. And like everything she does, she put her stunning looks to good effect in behind-the-scenes footage from the sizzling new ad campaign she filmed to promote the collaboration. Baskin-Robbins announced on its website that it would be bring the Sweet on Sydney Menu — which the actress co-created — to locations of the scoop shop for a limited time. The centerpiece of the new line will be the Sydney's Signature Scoop, which features a chocolate-dipped waffle cone filled with rainbow sherbet and decorated with rainbow sprinkles and miniature gummy bears for an odd pairing of sugary flavors that was sure to be controversial with customers. She also helped create Sydney's Signature Fizz, an upcoming beverage that mixes rainbow sherbet with Starry soda, along with another heaping of miniature gummy bears to top it off. And like everything she does, she put her stunning looks to good effect in behind-the-scenes footage from the sizzling new ad campaign she filmed to promote the collaboration Customers can get the drink in a special cup that changes colors based on temperature for an up-charge. 'if you know me, you know ice cream always brings the biggest smile to my face :) this was literally a childhood dream come true thank you,' Sydney captioned her post. She included several behind-the-scenes photos showing her at what appeared to be a real Baskin-Robbins location as she filmed a commercial for the brand. It appeared to have been filmed on a rainy, overcast day, as she held an umbrella and stood on a wet sidewalk outside the shop in one snap. The film and TV star flaunted her cleavage in a pale pink tube top that also revealed a hint of her toned midriff. She paired it with baggy acid wash jeans and chunky white sneakers for a summery feel. Sydney closed her eyes and showed off an ecstatic smile in other photos inside the shop while posing playfully with a cone frosted with sprinkles. She also gave her fans a glimpse of the monitor revealing her in a figure-hugging pink dress as she took a sip of her eponymous new drink. But then a cut revealed that she was putting on a show inside a regular Baskin-Robbins store as a confused customer watched her. A store employee explained to him that Sydney was so obsessed with her new ice cream flavor that she dropped by the store nearly every day to have it. A humorous montage then showed her showing up for her daily appointment and greeting the employee. But things started to get out of hand when he turned on the lights to find that she was eating ice cream out of the freezers after hours. Sydney showed off her iconic long blond locks in the commercial, which was a far cry from the new look she unveiled the day before when the first trailer for Ron Howard's upcoming survival thriller Eden debuted.

Australia embroiled in third umpire controversy amid West Indies fury

West Indies head coach Daren Sammy asked whether there was 'something against our team' after Australia benefited from two controversial decisions from the third umpire in their Test match. After two days in Barbados, the Test is evenly poised, with Australia making 92 for four in their second innings, a lead of just 82 runs. But Australia's position would be far worse were it not for two decisions made by Adrian Holdstock, the third umpire who hails from South Africa. 'I have noticed, especially with this particular umpire, it's something that for me started in England,' Sammy said, referring to Holdstock. 'It's frustrating. I just ask for consistency in the decision-making. 'You don't want to get yourself in a situation where you're wondering about certain umpires. Is there something against this team? But when you see decision after decision, then it raises the question. I know he's here for the series. You don't want to go in a Test match having that doubt. 'You don't want to be going into a Test match not trusting the umpires. And that's not what our team is about. So we're just looking for some clarity as to the decisions.' After the second day's play at Kensington Oval, Sammy reportedly met with match referee Javagal Srinath to understand the TV umpire's thinking. When asked whether he could make a formal complaint about Holdstock, Sammy said: 'You'll have to wait and see for that.' The first incident: Chase, lbw b Cummins, 44 Captain Roston Chase and Shai Hope had shared a partnership of 67 to put West Indies in the ascendancy. A ball from Pat Cummins caught Chase on the crease, and he was given out lbw on the field. Chase then reviewed the decision. UltraEdge appeared to show a spike when the ball passed the bat – suggesting an inside edge, which would have led to the leg-before decision being overturned. But Holdstock said that there was a clear gap between bat and ball. Chase remained given out, to Sammy's surprise. 'In our opinion, we saw the ball deviated onto the pad,' Sammy said. The second incident: Hope c Carey b Webster 48 Eight overs later Hope – West Indies's top scorer with 48 – then fell victim to a controversial decision too. A delivery on a good length from Beau Webster seamed in and found Hope's inside edge. Diving at full stretch to his left, wicketkeeper Alex Carey claimed the catch. But the on-field umpires checked whether Carey had caught the ball cleanly in his outstretched left glove. Replays appeared to suggest that part of the ball was touching the ground as his glove landed on the ground, although the ball never fell out of the glove. Holdstock adjudged that the ball was caught cleanly, leading to Hope being dismissed. OUT or NOT OUT?🤔 Alex Carey's catch to dismiss Shai Hope could spark debate. 📸: Twitter/X — CricTracker (@Cricketracker) June 27, 2025 Sammy said that after a similar incident occurred in Australia's first innings, when Travis Head was batting, Holdstock declared the batsman not out, accusing the third umpire of inconsistency. 'I'm just saying, judge what you see,' Sammy said. 'If you see the same thing and one is not out, there is even more doubt on the other one that you give it out. Again, I don't know what he's seen but from the images that we've seen, the decisions are not fair enough for both teams. We're all humans. Mistakes will be made. I just want fairness.' Australia's Mitchell Starc admitted that he thought that Head's edge the previous day was out. Starc suggested that the technology was not functioning well in Barbados. 'There's been some interesting ones,' Starc said. 'Obviously a couple more have gone against the West Indies than us.' Australia appeared to suffer from one earlier decision in West Indies's innings, with Chase seemingly leg-before to Josh Hazlewood on one. After reviewing the decision, and seeing Chase struck plumb in line with the stumps, Australia's players started celebrating, but Holdstock found that Chase got an inside edge before he was struck. 'One for us [against Chase] looked like there was a gap between the bat and the ball, it cost us 40-odd runs, but then a contentious one to then get the wicket,' Starc said. 'As players, you can only ask a question. We don't use the technology to make that decision. It sort of felt like, or looked like, that the Snicko and the images were out of sync to some capacity.'

Is British and Irish Lions vs Western Force on TV? Kick-off time, channel and how to watch

The British and Irish Lions will hope to bounce back from an opening defeat to Argentina as they play the Western Force in their first match on Australian soil. The Pumas pooped the party in Dublin to leave Andy Farrell seething after the tour curtain-raiser, and the Lions head coach will be hoping for improvements in Perth. The tourists are boosted by their contingent of Premiership finalists and URC champions with a raft of Bath, Leicester and Leinster players given starts at Optus Stadium despite some nagging injury concerns. The home side's lack of Wallabies, meanwhile, has prompted accusations of disrespect from the Lions hierarchy towards Australia boss Joe Schmidt - but players like Nic White and Ben Donaldson provide plenty of class and experience. Here's everything you need to know. When is the Lions vs Western Force? The Western Force host the British and Irish Lions at Optus Stadium in Perth on Saturday 28 June, with kick off at 11am BST. How can I watch it? Viewers in the United Kingdom can watch the match live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Action, with coverage on the channels from 10am BST. A live stream will be available to subscribers via Sky Go and NOW. The Western Force were hoping to have Kurtley Beale at their disposal, but the veteran playmaker, who featured against the Lions in 2013, has been denied a reunion by a hamstring issue. Beale will feature for the First Nations & Pasifika XV later in the tour. Ben Donaldson is whisked in from Wallabies camp to start in his stead at full-back, with Nic White adding all of his expertise and competitive spirit at scrum half. Ex-Northampton centre Matt Proctor provides yet more experience in the backline while there is plenty of quality up front, where former London Irish and Saracens prop Ollie Hoskins earns a final outing before retirement. Dan Sheehan leads the Lions in their opening tour game on Australian soil, with Maro Itoje one of a number to drop out of Andy Farrell's matchday squad after the defeat to Argentina. Only Sione Tuipulotu and Tadhg Beirne, shifted to inside centre and six respectively, retain their starting spots as Farrell rings the changes to put time into his wider squad. Now over their URC exertions, the Leinster contingent is healthy, with Sheehan joined by eight others from the Dublin club even with Jamison Gibson-Park and Hugo Keenan ruled out due to injury. Henry Pollock starts at No 8 with Elliot Daly stationed at full-back and Finn Russell taking the reins at 10. Line-ups Replacements: 16 Nic Dolly, 17 Marley Pearce, 18 Tiaan Tauakipulu, 19 Lopeti Faifua, 20 Reed Prinsep; 21 Henry Robertson, 22 Max Burey, 23 Bayley Kuenzie. Lions XV: 1 Pierre Schoeman, 2 Dan Sheehan (capt.), 3 Tadhg Furlong; 4 Scott Cummings, 5 Joe McCarthy; 6 Tadhg Beirne, 7 Josh van der Flier, 8 Henry Pollock; 9 Tomos Williams, 10 Finn Russell; 11 James Lowe, 12 Sione Tuipulotu, 13 Garry Ringrose, 14 Mack Hansen; 15 Elliot Daly.
