Health Ministry: 330 Martyrs, injured due to American Aggression on Yemen since March 15, 2025

Saba Yemen09-04-2025

Sana'a – Saba:
The Ministry of Health and Environment has announced the toll of casualties resulting from American aggression on Yemen from March 15, 2025, to April 9, reaching a total of 330 civilian martyrs and injured.
The official spokesperson for the Ministry, Dr. Anis Al-Asbahi, stated to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the number of martyrs due to American airstrikes during this period reached 107 civilians, while 223 civilians were injured.
He strongly condemned the crimes committed by the American enemy against civilians across various provinces, stressing that these acts expose the moral collapse of the American aggressor.
He noted that such crimes would not have occurred without the silence and inaction of the international community in putting an end to American criminality. He pointed out that these crimes reveal the brutality of this savage aggression, which does not hesitate to kill civilians in a failed attempt to break the will of the Yemeni people, who continue to support the Palestinian cause and stand with the oppressed Palestinian people.
The spokesperson held the United States of America, the international community, and international and humanitarian organizations fully responsible for the consequences of the deliberate targeting and bombing of civilians.
He called on the international community—its nations, organizations, and human rights and humanitarian institutions—to expose and condemn the violations of American aggression against civilians, public facilities, and medical establishments.

Palestinian Ministry of Health: Israeli enemy deliberately puts Nasser Medical Complex out of service

Gaza – Saba: The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip confirmed on Thursday that the Israeli enemy is intensifying its deliberate efforts to put Nasser Medical Complex out of service by targeting the surrounding residential areas and evacuating residents. The Ministry said in a statement, "This is a result of the Israeli enemy contacting and informing residents of Nasser Medical Complex area and its surroundings that it is an evacuation and operations zone, which caused panic among patients and citizens." The Ministry emphasized that Nasser Medical Complex is the only facility in the southern governorate that provides specialized services such as dialysis, nurseries, intensive care, and surgical procedures. Its cessation would mean the deaths of hundreds of patients and a humanitarian catastrophe. It added: "After the Israeli enemy emptied the northern Gaza governorate of hospitals, it continues with all arrogance to implement its plans to strike the health system and empty the southern governorate of hospitals." The Ministry of Health renewed its "urgent appeal to all concerned parties to intervene immediately to protect health facilities and enable them to continue providing medical care." Prominent Yemeni Sheikh Dies After Two Months in Detention by Security Belt militia

A well-known Yemeni cleric, Sheikh Anis Saeed Al-Jardami, has died in a hospital in Aden, Yemen, after his health deteriorated while in detention. Al-Jardemi had been taken into custody by the Security Belt Forces, a paramilitary security unit affiliated with the separatist Southern Transitional Council (STC), in early April. According to human rights sources, Al-Jardami's arrest was reportedly linked to audio recordings he shared on social media, in which he criticized the STC and its leader. He was held without a court order for two months before being transferred to the hospital due to his failing health. The circumstances surrounding Al-Jardemi's detention and death have sparked concerns about human rights abuses in Yemen.
