Nine former Florida football players invited to 2025 NFL Scouting Combine
The National Football League announced its list of invitations to this year's scouting combine on Thursday, which included the names of nine former Florida Gators out of a total of 329 prospects.
On the offensive side of the ball, quarterback Graham Mertz, running back Montrell Johnson Jr., wide receivers Elijhah Badger and Chimere Dike, and offensive lineman Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson earned a chance to impress the professionals after notable collegiate careers. Defensive lineman Cam Jackson, linebacker Shemar James and defensive back Jason Marshall Jr. were named on the opposite side of the ball. Punter Jeremy Crawshaw also got the call on special teams.
Defensive back Trikweze Bridges participated in the Hula Bowl in January but did not receive an invitation to the NFL scouting combine on Thursday. Despite not having his name called, Bridges is considered a potential pro prospect.
Former Gators edge defender Princely Umanmielen and running back Trevor Etienne also received invites after transferring to the Ole Miss Rebels and Georgia Bulldogs, respectively, ahead of last season.

Patrick Mahomes, Brittany Mahomes Make Major Personal Decision
Patrick Mahomes, Brittany Mahomes Make Major Personal Decision originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, are, without a doubt, one of the most well-known couples in the NFL today. Patrick Mahomes is one of the top quarterbacks in the game right now, and his three Super Bowl rings are a clear testament to this fact. His wife, on the other hand, has firmly established herself as part of the elite group of NFL WAGs (wives and girlfriends) as a model, endorser and entrepreneur, among other things. It also only follows that their kids have had the spotlight on them for pretty much their entire lives. Patrick and Brittany Mahomes have three children. Their eldest is daughter Sterling, 4, followed by a son, Bronze, who is 2. In January, Brittany Mahomes gave birth to their third child, Golden Raye. On Tuesday, the couple made a big decision by publicly showing the face of their daughter for the first time. The couple took to Instagram to share a set of adorable family photos, which, for the first time, revealed the beautiful face of Golden. The couple waited five months before they went public with their daughter, who, according to Brittany Mahomes herself, will very likely be their last child. "Nope," she said in a recent interview on the "WHOOP Podcast." "We're done; we're done for a while. Three. I don't know, I mean I feel like you can never like say you're done, but I think three is all I need." Right now, Patrick Mahomes is able to play the role of a full-time dad at home amid the NFL offseason. However, it's only a matter of time before the Chiefs' preparations for the upcoming campaign heat up, which means that Mahomes will be forced to spend a lot of time away from his wife and kids. After all, Dad has a fourth Super Bowl title to win. This story was originally reported by Athlon Sports on Jun 13, 2025, where it first appeared.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Kiss at Stanley Cup Final
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce could. not. stop. being adorable last night. In case you missed their surprise appearance, the pair showed up to the Stanley Cup Final in Florida—where they're currently spending time while Travis trains for the NFL season. Their general vibe? But Taylor and Travis were also caught on camera kissing and cuddling multiple times from multiple angles, and can't lie: the footage (gathered by @swifferupdates) is extremely sweet. Literally me after watching these videos: FYI, all this romance comes amid a source telling People that "Taylor is really looking forward to the upcoming NFL season" thanks to it being the first full season that she hasn't also been juggling a tour schedule. "This fall will be completely different," the source said. "It's the first season where she's not constantly flying back and forth or working around an entire touring calendar. The past two seasons were a whirlwind between performing across multiple countries, long flights, and trying to squeeze in alone time together wherever possible. It wasn't easy but they made it work. Her schedule is much more open now that the Eras Tour is wrapped and she's genuinely excited to have the time and flexibility to show up for Travis more consistently." Apparently, Taylor will be at "as many of his games as possible," so get ready.
