Shotzi, the former
WWE Women's Tag Team Champion
, has spoken candidly about her unexpected departure from WWE, describing a mix of relief, frustration, and renewed motivation for the future.
Speaking on
Busted Open Radio
, the 33-year-old wrestler admitted that although the release came as a surprise, it also brought a long-awaited sense of clarity. 'Honestly, I didn't expect this, but I feel so free - like this weight is lifted off me,' she said.

Shotzi opens up on being overlooked in WWE
Shotzi's WWE exit, which is expected to be finalized by July when her contract officially ends, followed months of limited activity. Her last televised match was on WWE Speed back in February, and although she was previously sidelined with an ACL injury, she confirmed that creative plans to bring her back were abruptly dropped.
A planned feud with Chelsea Green never materialized, and Shotzi revealed she had been pitching ideas to management, hoping to regain momentum. 'It is extremely frustrating. When they're utilizing you, it's the best job in the world. But when you're in the dark, pitching things, and it just feels like no one believes in you... it's mind-numbing and boring as hell,' she said.
During WrestleMania season, she reportedly reached out to WWE's Talent Relations team, enquiring about her future. Despite being assured that talks would take place, she claims no communication followed. This prompted her to release an emotional promo on social media showcasing her promo skills, something she says WWE rarely allowed her to do. Two days later, Shotzi received a call informing her of her release.
'They told me, 'Hey, we've got some bad news.' I just said, 'Okay, cool, later.' It was a short conversation,' she recalled.
Before her exit, Shotzi made a short return to NXT alongside Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley. However, plans for the trio were shelved - another abrupt end in a series of false starts.
Despite the setbacks, Shotzi remains optimistic. 'I'm just excited to finally go out there and kick a** on my terms,' she said. 'I'm not going to put myself in catering. I'm going to get out there and wrestle my butt off.'
Where she lands next is still unknown, though potential destinations could include TNA or AEW. What's certain is that Shotzi's next chapter will be entirely on her own terms.

Money in the Bank: Triple H may soon be released from WWE, says former employee
Paul 'Triple H' Levesque may soon be exiting WWE, according to former employee Jonathan Coachman. During a recent appearance on John Poz's podcast Two Man Power Trip, Coachman explained that Triple H may soon be leaving the company as a result of a behind-the-scenes power struggle at TKO (holding company that owns the WWE). A recent revenue report revealed the hierarchy at TKO, where The Rock was ranked higher in power compared to The Game. Coachman also indicated a power struggle between the Chief Content Officer and Director of the Board at TKO i.e., Dwayne Johnson and Triple H. 'On the report, Ari (Emanuel) was the number one guy; he is the guy. He also runs two or three other things that they run. It gets very complicated. For this discussion, The Rock got anywhere from 30 to 45 million in the last year to come back and be on the board of directors. So, on their financials, you've got Ari, you've got another name, and then you've got Vince McMahon…Vince still holds the third most stock options or pieces of stock in the company. Read More: LA Knight might lose Money in the Bank Ladder for this bizarre reason; fans blame Triple H Then you keep going down; there's only about eight names on the list, and there's Dwayne Johnson. And then, you got Nick Khan, the president of WWE. The one name that is not on there, Paul Levesque, Triple H. And from my time there and my time with the Rock, I know for a fact that he does not get along with Triple H. That does not go away. They've always been butting heads for years and years for a lot of different reasons. And I actually like Triple H a lot,' Coachman explained. Coachman revealed that he had 'good intel' on the power struggle going on behind the scenes and wouldn't give Triple H more than 18 months at the company. Read More: WWE Money in the Bank: Roman Reigns' TKO contract under risk? Insider drops big hint Fans recently vented their frustration against Triple H's decision to let go of several veterans such as R-Truth, Carlito, and Sarah Logan from the company. 'They're looking at the numbers. They're looking at how many do we have to cut or how much money do we have to cut. And those were the picks. Those were the Levesque picks. And that's what it is,' Coachman said. He also believes that The Rock would like to replace Triple H with former WWE writer Brian Gewirtz as the creative head.

WWE Worlds Collide 2025: Legado Del Fantasma takes down Wagner Jr., Pagano, and Psycho Clown in a six-man tag match
For a long time, Legado Del Fantasma has been stuck in WWE's lower card. Santos Escobar, Angel and Berto have been solid performers, but more often than not, they have been used to make other wrestlers look strong. They rarely got a chance to shine themselves. This, however, changed at WWE Worlds Collide. Their opponents were AAA stars El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano and Psycho Clown, a team full of experience and high-flying ability. From the start, the match was intense and fast paced. Wagner Jr. and Berto began things with some back and forth action, but the tide quickly turned when Psycho Clown came in with power moves and wild dives, including a devastating dive that sent Escobar crashing into the announce table. Pagano brought more chaos with a facebuster on Berto and an ambitious dive to the outside. Escobar showed good ring awareness by pulling Angel out of the way, causing Pagano to crash hard. The WWE trio used teamwork to isolate Pagano, hitting a series of triple kicks and keeping him away from his partners. The action spilled outside the ring several times, with high-flying moves. Some of the wrestlers crashed through barricades. Wagner Jr. showed his skill with an Eddie Guerrero tribute spot but could not finish the match. Escobar fought back fiercely, hitting a big knee and then a superrana off the top rope. He ended the match with his Phantom Driver finisher, pinning Wagner Jr. for the win. A turning point for Legado Del Fantasma? Legado del Fantasma are ready to take on @Psychooriginal, Pagano and @hijodewagner ! Who ya got?! 😤#WorldsCollide This win is huge for Legado Del Fantasma. After months of losing and being treated like jobbers in WWE, this victory could give them the momentum they need to climb the ranks. Defeating respected AAA stars in a match full of energy and drama showed that Escobar and his team can deliver when it matters most. This victory at Worlds Collide might be the start of a new chapter for Legado Del Fantasma in WWE. Fans will be watching closely to see if they can build on this and finally get the push their talent deserves.

LA Knight might lose Money in the Bank Ladder for this bizarre reason; fans blame Triple H
This Saturday in Los Angeles, LA Knight will take part in his third Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Once again, he's the fan favorite. Over the last couple of years, Knight has become one of the most popular stars in WWE. But his journey hasn't been smooth. He's had to deal with confusing storylines and surprising losses. With so many new wrestlers joining WWE, it seems like LA Knight isn't a top priority for Triple H anymore. But here's the thing — LA Knight was never supposed to be the top guy. All he ever got was a chance to be himself on TV. And every time he got that chance, he delivered. Many fans believe LA Knight deserves a real shot at the top. And that shot could come in the form of the Money in the Bank briefcase — a contract that lets him challenge for a world title whenever he wants. This might be WWE's last real chance to make LA Knight a world champion, and Saturday could be the first step. Also Read: WWE Money in the Bank: Roman Reigns' TKO contract under risk? Insider drops big hint If Knight wins the briefcase, he could cash in right away. WWE Champion John Cena is an option, but that's not very likely right now. A more realistic target would be World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso. Cena, Uso, Cody Rhodes, and Logan Paul will all be in the main event on Saturday, which might make it hard for Knight to cash in that night. But on Monday, two nights later, Jey Uso is scheduled to defend his title against Gunther. That could be the perfect moment. If Jey is badly hurt after that match, Knight might cash in and finally win the big one. It would be a huge moment — but not without some mixed reactions. Fans love LA Knight, but they also really love Jey Uso. If Knight cashes in on a beaten-down Uso, the crowd might not love it, even if they cheer for Knight most of the time. That moment could push Knight to show more of his cocky, villain side again — something we haven't seen in a while. It could shake up Monday Night RAW in a big way. A move to RAW would be great for LA Knight. There are fresh faces for him to face — guys like Gunther, Seth Rollins, CM Punk, Sami Zayn, and more. With so many big names on RAW, Triple H might try something bold and give Knight the title, just like he did with Jey Uso. A heel (bad guy) version of LA Knight, now as a top star, could be one of Triple H's biggest moves yet. Watching Knight go up against those big names as champion could finally make him a true main event star. Monday Night RAW could become his show. But first, he has to win the Money in the Bank Ladder Match this Saturday at the Intuit Dome.
