The Bear season 4 release date announced – here's what you need to know

Independent15-05-2025

The Bear is officially returning for a fourth season, and fans are already hungry for more. Set to land this June, the new installment promises more of the sharp dialogue, culinary chaos, and emotional storytelling that made the show a cultural juggernaut.
The show follows Michelin-starred chef Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) as he takes control of his brother's chaotic Chicago sandwich shop. After leaving us with a delicious cliffhanger at the end of season three, the dramedy will pick up as Carmy and fellow chef Syd (Ayo Edebiri) brace for a grilling in a make-or-break restaurant review. Tensions are higher than ever, and with the kitchen crew already fraying under pressure, season four could see them push them past boiling point.
Created by Christopher Storer, The Bear has racked up serious critical acclaim since its debut. It's been named AFI's Television Program of the Year for each of its first three seasons and cleaned up at the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards, taking home 11 trophies from 23 nominations for season two – the most wins for a comedy series in a single year. While season three didn't quite sizzle – critics called it more meandering than masterful – season four is a chance to bring back some bite.
So, what do we know so far about the return of the world's most stressful kitchen?
When will season four be available?
Clear your calendars – all 10 episodes of The Bear season four will drop on 26 June, just a year after season three premiered. The lightning-fast turnaround has become something of a trademark for the show, and this summer release is prime for bingeing.
Where to watch The Bear in the UK
UK fans can catch all the action on Disney+, where the first three seasons are already available to stream. Season four will land in full on Thursday 26 June. A subscription to Disney+ starts from £4.99 per month for the ad-supported tier.
Rather than paying monthly, users can choose an annual payment option for the two higher tiers. This lowers the cost to £79.90 for the standard plan, which includes offline downloads, and £109.90 for the premium plan, which allows streaming on four devices at once and provides access to ultra HD content.

JoJo Siwa reveals the exact moment her bond with boyfriend Chris Hughes blossomed from friendship to romance as she shares their plans to get matching tattoos

JoJo Siwa has revealed the moment her bond with boyfriend Chris Hughes blossomed from friendship to romance. The dancer, 22, and Love Island star, 32, finally confirmed that they were dating earlier this week following weeks of frenzied speculation, with the couple travelling to the Cotswolds on Tuesday to meet his family. JoJo and Chris had originally formed a close friendship while meeting in the Celebrity Big Brother house in April, but the Dance Moms star has now revealed her feelings for him changed when she returned home to the US. Speaking on Gyles Brandreth's Rosebud podcast, JoJo shared insight into the beginning of her bond with Chris, gushing that she was 'lucky' he felt the same way about her. JoJo also shared her plans to get a matching tattoo with Chris, as well as inks paying tribute to her time in the CBB house. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Asked what first attracted her to Chris, JoJo said: 'When he first walked in, he was the only person that I knew what they looked like before coming into the show. I was ''Oh that's the Chris guy''. 'Initially the first thing that I took in about him was he was a good hugger. I liked his hug. That felt like a nice embrace. And he smelt good – 'he seems cool'. 'We just kind of bonded right away and it started very much so as friends. 'I wasn't looking to fall for him. He wasn't looking to fall for me. We just were having so much fun together. Whenever one of us was down it was the other one of us that helped. 'Everybody got to see when he was there for me at the beginning. There was a day – it was Easter – and he was having a really, really rough day. 'And he was in the diary room for a really long time and I was freaking out, because I was like 'Something's wrong'. 'Everyone was like 'calm down', and I was like 'No, something's wrong'. 'And he came out of the diary room and he was like 'I had a stomach ache'. And I looked at him and I was like 'you're not good'. And I just gave him a hug. 'We had a talk and he really opened up and he wasn't ok, he really wasn't ok. I was able to be there for him. We had more fun than I've ever had in my life in that house.' Reflecting on when she left the CBB house, JoJo added: 'Leaving the house, you're in this bubble of Big Brother, so leaving the house I wasn't sure what was going to happen. 'But I had all these realisations of my life, things that I wasn't happy (about), that I was being ok with that I should never have been ok with. ''I'm not happy, so I need to handle things'', and I did very quickly once I got out of the house. 'Then over a little bit of time I realised that I started to feel something for Christopher that I never intended, but I couldn't not feel. 'And I'm a very, very lucky girl because he was feeling the same thing.' 'We were watching Who Wants to be a Millionaire? And the answer to the winning question was serendipity and somebody replied 'and do you know what serendipity is, it's you and JoJo'. 'And we googled it and both of us freaked out because that was the million dollar question. 'The word serendipity is Christopher and I's favourite word now. If you read the definition of it, it's essentially finding love when you're least looking for it. It's beautiful. I don't know how the universe did align for Chris to come into my life.' Sharing that she hopes her relationship with Chris will 'last a lifetime,' JoJo then shared her plans to get a matching tattoo with him, with a nod to the ring that he gave her in the CBB house, which she wears on a necklace. She told Gyles: 'The Chris tattoo, I said in Big Brother that I would get this bamboo stick. And I said that I would get a little bamboo stick tattoo, and I want to get two other tattoos from the Big Brother house of memories that I have from in there. 'I would get that because as much as that relates to Chris, I can deem it not bad luck by placing more on Big Brother.' Despite jetting to Mexico to surprise her for her 22nd birthday last month, proceeding to mark the milestone with the singer and her family in Orlando, and later sharing a steamy bedroom selfie, JoJo played coy about their relationship status until earlier this week. A source also previously told that Chris also seems to have received the seal of approval from JoJo's parents, Jessalynn and Tom, who are not believed to have any qualms with the ten-year age gap. 'Her parents are all in for JoJo's happiness and see Chris as someone very special and are eager to see where it all goes,' the insider said. 'They fully support their daughter's decision. JoJo has grown up before our eyes, and will jump into things with both feet, so her friends aren't surprised that she is acting this way with Chris. 'No one is talking about the age gap or if they are rushing into things. Everyone just wants to see JoJo happy.' JoJo, who reunited with Chris in the UK last week, is so happy she may mention her new man in new music. The insider added: 'She has been thinking of writing songs about her relationship with Chris.' In a recent interview with Sunday Brunch, JoJo fought back tears as she shared how her parents 'think the absolute world of Chris.' She said: 'Him and my Dad are like best friends, Chris was actually telling me this yesterday, they went to the spa together yesterday. 'They're literally best friends, Mom Siwa she absolutely adores him. I love watching her watch us, because I've never seen my mom so happy, and it's... it's... I could cry. 'Honestly, it makes me happy to have everybody act as... it feels like we're a family, it feels like he's been in my family for how ever many years it feels like forever. 'He gets along as well as I do. I think he loves me because of my parents!' On Monday, JoJo finally confirmed that she and Chris were in a relationship, following weeks of speculation. While JoJo has been grilled many times on her relationship status, she had been noticeably coy, simply branding Chris her 'favourite person in the world.' But in an interview with Capital Radio, JoJo confirmed that she and Chris have made their relationship official, and she's started calling him her boyfriend. Speaking in a video for the channel's new series Capital Buzz, the dancer admitted that she's had to explain her viral 'Dream guest on my podcast' moment to Chris. She then added: 'I'm sure it's no secret to people, I am in a lovely relationship with a sweet boy named Christopher Hughes.' In an earlier interview with The Guardian, JoJo gushed about her blossoming romance with Chris. She said: 'It's not platonic any more, and it's been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I'm absolutely head over heels for him and he's the same way.' The Dance Moms star also hit back at speculation that their relationship is a 'PR stunt,' saying: 'Clearly, you've never been around us. I won't ever speak for him, but for me personally, the happiness in my life just radiates off of me right now. 'Literally yesterday, I was massaging my cheeks; I've never [before] been in pain from smiling so much.' On Sunday, Chris sent fans into a frenzy when he shared a steamy bedroom snap with JoJo on Snapchat. The Dance Moms star had been coy when asked about the exact moment she developed feelings for Chris. Speaking during a Q&A with fans at Pineapple Dance Studios on Saturday, she said: 'Loads of different times, loads of different times on different levels. I'm very very happy where we are currently, obviously, I mean I literally smile every single second of every single day now. 'One of personal biggest frustrations in my life now is that I actually don't know, I genuinely don't know, and I've spoken to him about it, I've spoken to my mom about it, I don't know the moment that it,' before snapping her fingers. She added: 'It was never like a light switch happened, it was just... you know what I mean? And so I genuinely don't know! It's serendipity!' Last week, JoJo took to Instagram to reflect on her London shows, admitting she has never felt so 'content and happy,' and described her first few days in the UK as 'the perfect time with perfect people in a perfect place'. Chris had attended JoJo's first show in London the previous night, but the star admitted he couldn't attend Tuesday's performance. Instead, she brought along the orange beanie he'd given her while in the house, after she caught Chris singing one of her hits while she was still asleep. She told the audience: 'This morning I woke up and all I heard was [sings Nobody Can Change me] he was singing, so I figured today I'd bring a little bit of him while I sing this next song.'As the show came to a close, JoJo wept at the crowd's reception, telling her fans that after once feeling she was 'one of the most hated people in the world,' she felt 'so special and so loved'.

Controversial influencer who moved her family to the US slammed for complaining about cost of living after buying two new phones and going on a trip to the Bahamas

A controversial Gold Coast influencer has copped backlash from her followers after complaining about the cost of living in the US. Kat Clark has relocated to America with her husband Jonathan and their 14-year-old daughter Deja and the family made the big move last week. After just a week in the States, she has moaned about the cost of groceries after splashing out on expensive phones, clothes and a manicure. Kat began her rant by saying she was nervous about finding a rental home in the US after the family had ben living out of an AirBnB for two weeks. She said she and her husband had a place lined up, but decided they didn't like the lavish pad after they saw it in person. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'But then I started to freak out even more because of the cost of living in America. I thought Australia was bad,' she added. Kat went on to show her followers a strawberry punnet that retails for $19.99 from expensive grocery chain Erewhon. 'We also have to buy a new car, new furniture, literally everything,' Kat added. But moments later, Kat showed her and her teenage daughter Deja going clothes shopping. 'I know what you're thinking, I was just complaining about the cost of living, why the hell am I going shopping?' she said. 'We got some news that we just couldn't say no to. You know how we moved to American for more opportunities? 'Well Deja was invited on her first brand trip to the Bahamas. I didn't want her to miss out. That's the whole reason why we moved over here.' Just days later, Kat was back on TikTok with another video complaining she was struggling to find a new 'nail lady' as she treated herself to a manicure and pedicure. She then revealed she and her husband Jonathan had bought two new iPhones for their Australian sim cards, only to realise the mobiles only take digital e-sims. 'Basically, we have two phones that we're literally never going to use,' she said. Days later, Kat was uploading content of her lavish brand trip in the Bahamas with her daughter. Several of Kat's followers slammed the influencer for complaining about the cost of living while enjoying a luxury trip. 'Wow, absolutely insufferable. They VOLUNTARILY decided to move to the US at one of the worst times imaginable and basically did no research,' one person wrote on Reddit. 'Now she's complaining about the prices of groceries there, finding a nail salon etc. meanwhile buying bags and bags of expensive shopping, two new iPhones (that they realised they can't use) and going on a "holiday" to the Bahamas literally just after moving there.' 'Is she rage baiting? What the actual f*** is wrong with these people?' they finished. Another Reddit user agreed, saying: 'I hadn't seen it. I went to look and see I wish I didn't see it so disgusting. 'I barely eat each week due to the crazy cost of things in Australia and she's off trying to find a nail salon like hello and then burns money on phones.' 'Like who the fk moves to the other side of the world with no plan?' added a third. 'At this point it has to be rage bait. She knows what will make people comment/talk about her and she's using it to her full advantage,' said someone else. 'At the end of the day she puts out content, and anything can be content.'

From Kanye West to Alex Jones: The internet is losing its mind over Trump and Musk's very public feud

Social media users grabbed their popcorn on Thursday to watch President Donald Trump and Elon Musk trade insults online as the fallout between the two powerful figures continued. Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, rapper Kanye West, right-wing activist Laura Loomer, and others jumped into the conversation with their takes on the dramatic breakup, which was triggered by Musk after he voiced disdain for Trump's 'Big Beautiful Bill.' 'Broooos please noooooo. We love you both so much,' West, also known as Ye, wrote on X. 'BBB actually stands for Big beautiful breakup,' Loomer, a staunch Trump ally, said. Trump and Musk's relationship had been reportedly on the rocks for several days as the tech mogul used his social media platform to push back on the president's signature bill. But things exploded on Thursday after Trump took to Truth Social to call Musk 'Crazy' and claim he had asked the Tesla CEO to leave his administration. Musk subsequently took to X to accuse Trump of being part of the 'Epstein files' and take credit for helping him with the presidential election. 'God Help Us ALL….,' Jones wrote on X after Musk's accusation. Steve Bannon, a right-wing activist who has opposed Musk's role in the government, told the New York Times that Musk should be 'deported' and the government should 'initiate a formal investigation of his immigration status.' As insiders and allies sounded off, there were memes aplenty, comparing the feud to sports rivalries, the 'Alien vs. Predator' films, the Tesla Cybertruck that blew up outside a Trump hotel in Las Vegas earlier this year, and a child in the 'Toy Story' franchise discarding a favorite toy. Vivian Jenna Wilson, Musk's estranged transgender daughter, wrote on Threads, 'Such beauty in life,' as the feud between Trump and Musk continued. Ashley St Clair, a right-wing social media influencer embroiled in a custody battle with Musk, offered 'breakup advice' to Trump as he fought with Musk. Among the insults traded, the president threatened to revoke government contracts with Musk's subsidiaries while Musk endorsed the idea of Trump being impeached and Vice President JD Vance replacing him. Republican Representative Thomas Massie took to X to claim the fallout between the two was 'inevitable.' 'You don't land rockets backwards or get cars to drive themselves by suffering fools gladly,' Massie wrote. Jon Favreau, host of the podcast 'Pod Save America,' joked, 'I'd love to know who gets custody of @DavidSacks.' Democratic Senator Adam Schiff joked on X, 'Going to need a Big Beautiful Bucket of popcorn for this ugly brawl.' Commentators such as Meghan McCain, Piers Morgan, and Tim Pool, shared their reactions to the quickly-escalating fight which ranged from delight to utter shock.
