SAA, Kalimat Group launch knowledge initiative
This initiative reflects Sharjah's vision of combining knowledge with hands-on experiences and expanding learning beyond traditional environments to include spaces like airports—fostering concepts such as confidence, exploration, and cultural understanding among younger generations.
This collaboration with Kalimat Group marks an extension of Sharjah Airport's role beyond a global travel hub into a knowledge and humanitarian platform committed to innovation and creating a positive societal impact beyond operational boundaries. It reaffirms the airport's position as a dynamic development center that welcomes initiatives supporting children's education and growth.
'Fasten Your Seatbelt!'
As part of this strategic collaboration, Sharjah Airport Authority and Kalimat Group have launched a storybook titled
'Fasten Your Seatbelt!'
—a central component of the initiative designed to introduce children to the travel experience at Sharjah Airport in a simplified and interactive format. The book narrates the exciting first travel adventure of two young siblings, Rashid and Dana, as they journey through the airport. Through this story, children learn about trip preparation, airport procedures, security checks, and boarding processes—all told in an age-appropriate and engaging style. This innovative educational tool aims to familiarise children with the travel process and empower them to approach it with confidence, nurturing a positive and informed relationship with the airport environment from an early age.
Sharjah Airport – A Crossroads of Culture and Discovery
Sharjah Airport stands as a vibrant meeting point for cultures and experiences, serving as an inspiring environment for children to learn through exploration. It stimulates curiosity and encourages young minds to discover the world around them with awareness, responsibility, and cultural openness.
