Bindi Irwin shocks fans as she reveals unusual accent during interview
She might be an Aussie icon, but Bindi Irwin sounded remarkably different in a recent interview.
The wildlife conservationist, who has been spending a lot of time in the US over the last few months, appeared on the Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce podcast where she discussed her four-year-old daughter Grace's love of kids show Bluey.
In the interview, the 26-year-old debuted a notable American twang as she spoke about the children's show.
'How big is Bluey in your household?' US-based host Kylie asked her.
'Oh my goodness,' Bindi replied back, mimicking the interviewer with a thick American accent.

'Bluey is life. Bluey is everything,' she added.
Bindi's Australian accent slowly came back as the interview progressed, however her initial twang reflected just how much time Bindi has been spending in the States.
The conservationist recently shared a heartwarming family picture as she visited Disney World in Florida with her husband Chandler Powell and their daughter Grace.
Bindi could be seen posing with her brood in front of the theme park's iconic Cinderella castle in a sweet photo shared to Instagram.
Chandler, 28, carried little Grace, who was dressed for the occasion in a sparkling frock and a Mickey Mouse hat, as Bindi held her husband's hand and smiled.
'May was an incredible month,' Chandler captioned the family photo.
The former wake-board champion then listed some moments the family shared, including Bindi's shock medical emergency which emerged as a blessing in disguise.
'Visiting my family in Florida, Bindi getting life changing surgery, Oregon adventures, and Disney all together,' he wrote.
'Very grateful,' Chandler finished off the post, which has garnered over 33,000 likes.
In May, Bindi was rushed to hospital just hours after touching down in Las Vegas for a gala honouring her late father Steve Irwin.
She suffered a ruptured appendix and was raced into surgery, missing the prestigious event she was due to attend alongside brother Robert Irwin and mother Terri Irwin.
In an Instagram post, Bindi revealed while her appendix was removed, doctors discovered another 14 lesions from her endometriosis. These were also successfully removed.
She also had a large hernia repaired which had developed after giving birth to daughter Grace in 2021.

BREAKING NEWS Tanner Martin is dead at 30: Influencer announces his own death in video weeks after birth of his first child
The popular influencer Tanner Martin has died at the age of 30. In a surprising move, it was Tanner himself who delivered the news in a heartbreaking pre-recorded video posted Wednesday to Instagram by his wife Shay Wright. Tanner bid his fans a final farewell just 41 days after he and his wife welcomed their first child, a daughter. The couple had documented his difficult journey on social media after he was diagnosed with colorectal cancer five years earlier. Tanner was as smiley and disarming as ever as he addressed the camera directly from what appeared to be his hospice room. 'Hey, it's me, Tanner. If you are watching this, I am dead,' he began, before easing some of the tension with a laugh at his own gallows humor. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Shay Martin (@tannerandshay)

That's cheeky! Dina Broadhurst shows off her trim figure in tiny booty shorts as she goes shopping in Paddington
Dina Broadhurst left little to the imagination as she stepped out in Sydney on Sunday. The 'nude artist', 48, showed off her trim figure in tiny grey booty shorts as she went shopping in Paddington. The glamorous socialite completed her look with a matching coloured top and wore a pair of brown sneakers as she visited local stores. Dina left her long brunette locks out and appeared to be make-up free as she glanced at her phone during the outing. She held an Acne Studios shopping bag as she walked to her car after visiting the store. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The sighting comes after Dina was spotted reconnecting with her ex-boyfriend Tony Benjamin during a low-key meet-up in Bondi last week. The pair, who made headlines in 2023 when their steamy romance came to light, appeared relaxed and at ease as they enjoyed coffee and conversation in the sun. They then hit Body by Berner for a Pilates session. At one point, the former couple were seen sharing a hearty laugh, with Dina beaming as she leaned across the table. Later, they left the café together and appeared deep in conversation. Their public reunion is sure to raise eyebrows among fans who remember their tumultuous history. Dina and Tony were first linked in early 2023, with the pair quickly becoming fixtures on Sydney's social scene. However, their whirlwind romance took a dramatic turn just months later when it was revealed Tony had split from his wife Shannon Benjamin, following his relationship with the Bondi-based artist. The saga sparked a wave of headlines, with sources close to the couple claiming the relationship had 'fizzled out' just as quickly as it began. In August last year, Dina fuelled speculation of a new romance when she posted a steamy Instagram photo of herself sunbaking in a bikini while a mystery man – believed by some to be Tony – caressed her back. However, she kept mum about her relationship status, never confirming whether she had rekindled things with her former flame. The high-society beauty has been romantically linked to some of Sydney's richest and most powerful men, but Dina doesn't like to be tied down these days. Most recently, she was once again spotted cosying up to John Winning Jr., known to his friends as Herman. In a huge love life twist, the pair were recently spotted on a double date in Coogee with cricketer Michael Clarke and his girlfriend Arabella Sherborne, the exclusive details of which were revealed by Mail+. Their shock outing came after Dina was also romantically tied to her boy toy Kengi - a former Love Island star who is, at 23, less than half her age. The pair secretly linked up in Paris, with Dina doing her best to keep him hidden from the public eye. But after Daily Mail Australia revealed their secret tryst, she began sharing steamy snaps online from their five-star Parisian love nest. However, upon her return to Australia, Dina sought comfort in the arms of ex-boyfriend John Jr., sparking speculation about whether they were back together. Her fling with Kengi followed her blink-and-you'll-miss-it trip to Chile for some fun with John Jr., who seems to be her go-to on-again-off-again boyfriend. She and John Jr. originally began dating in March last year, but they broke up in early December on the morning of the wedding of Bernadette Fahey and Jordan Sukkar. The pair were both expected to attend the couple's Scots College wedding, but when Dina rocked up solo, the high-profile guests knew something was amiss. Sources revealed at the time Dina came to the realisation their lifestyles were not compatible after eight months together. John Jr. is the son of appliances mogul John Winning Sr. and his family is worth an estimated $700million.

Young Aussie business owner breaks down in tears in the Coles carpark after 'devastating' find on shelves: 'I'm just so upset'
An Australian entrepreneur has been left in tears after a trip to Coles left her feeling overlooked and overwhelmed in the competitive grooming and beauty market. Clara Momesso, the founder of boutique personal care brand S'haven Body, broke down in a video after discovering a product similar to her hero launch on supermarket shelves. The product? A pink whipped shaving foam packed with nourishing skincare ingredients - but for a quarter of the price. In an emotional video that's now racked up more than 2.1million views in 24hours, Clara admitted she felt 'really upset' at the discovery. Her tears streamed after seeing a mainstream version of the very concept she spent two years perfecting, appear under a well-known, much larger brand, just months after launching her own. 'I just found out that a very successful personal care brand is coming out with a product that is basically the same as mine,' she said. 'I literally opened my phone, and I saw this brand that's already in all the major supermarkets. They've released a pink shave gel and they're releasing it into Coles and I'm just really upset about it.' Although she's quick to clarify she doesn't believe the conglomerate copied her, Clara admitted the timing felt like a gut-punch after years of hard work and innovation. 'I worked really, really hard on developing a concept that was new that nobody else had done. That was kind of my ticket into retail,' she explained. 'I knew competition was going to come... but I'm just frustrated that they got there first, and I can't compete with them.' While the two products share a striking resemblance in their formulas - both boasting a pink hue, nourishing skincare ingredients, and a sweet scent - they're not identical. However, the price discrepancy Clara highlights has social media, and shoppers, firmly divided. Clara's Shaven Whipped Shaving Foam is a creamy, mousse-like formula enriched with hyaluronic acid and panthenol, designed to hydrate and cushion the skin during shaving. Retailing at $39.95 for 200g, it's positioned as a premium self-care indulgence, with luxe packaging and a strong focus on skin benefits. Gem's Skin-Loving Shaving Gel, on the other hand, is a $10 supermarket buy that 'transforms from a water-activated gel into a soft foam', according to the website. While it also includes moisturising ingredients like shea butter, aloe vera and vitamin E, it leans more into accessibility and convenience - with a slightly smaller 195g size and a more budget-friendly price point. And with Australia's cost of living showing no signs of slowing down, the price gap has sparked a heated debate among shoppers online. 'I'm all for women in business, however need to read the room, as in this climate (which is not the roaring 20's), $40 for shaving foam is out of taste. People are grabbing what is half price or on special,' one commented. 'I can relate to this and I'm proof that if someone is bringing out the 'same' product as you doesn't mean they're better than you… ps. We use and love your product x,' another added. The split reflects a growing tension in beauty retail right now - consumers are craving affordable everyday essentials, but also want to support homegrown innovation. In a statement to FEMAIL, Clara stressed her video was never meant to pit her brand against a major player or drag anyone down. 'They have a product that will serve a portion of the market and mine will serve a different portion of the market,' she said. 'They are two products that solve the same problem and are similar in some ways, but they are different. I know there is space for both brands. I was just sad at the time of seeing their announcement.' Ingredient face-off: What's actually different? Both formulas contain pink-tinted foam, moisturising agents and sweet scents, but Clara's version leans into premium ingredients like hyaluronic acid and panthenol for skin hydration, while Gem's opts for soothing aloe, vitamin E and shea butter. Price and accessibility, of course, are the biggest points of difference with Clara's priced at $39.95 available online only (with $10 postage added to each order), and Gem's $10 version, which is already stocked in Coles supermarkets nationwide. Still, Clara argued that her brand represents far more than just a beauty product, it's about vision, innovation and small business grit. 'I knew the competition was gunna' come, and it's a normal, healthy part of business, but I'm just frustrated that they got there first.' Well, in the theme of popular idiom's, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger, and clearly, not all good things come to those who wait.
