The long-running property show, fronted by architect George Clarke, featured his Airstream caravan refurbishment company on April 15 this year.
Catling was arrested a day after the alleged sex attack on October 1 2022, but was released under investigation.
He was charged by post last month with one count of rape and three counts of sexual assault and appeared at Oxford magistrates' court on Tuesday afternoon.
It is unclear when the Amazing Spaces episode was filmed, or whether Catling disclosed to the broadcaster that he had been charged with serious sex offences when it aired.
There is no suggestion of any wrongdoing by Channel 4.
Two of the counts relate to 'kissing and touching' around the woman's neck, mouth and bottom at the pub, which The Sun is not naming.
Catling, who wore black trousers and a chequered shirt in court, spoke only to confirm his name, age and address.
Dr Andrew Rushbrook JP told him: 'You've heard what's been said today.
'We have to send this to the crown court, where all four offences you have been charged with will be dealt with together."
He was released on bail under the condition that he does not contact his alleged victim and will appear at Oxford crown court next month.
The episode, which is still available on YouTube and Channel 4's streaming platform, showed Catling adding 800 new parts to a 1947 campervan, costing almost £40,000.

Catling specialised in restoring vintage Airstream caravans
Catling had flown to the US to buy the van before shipping it back to Britain.
Mr Clarke, 50, told Catling he had made it look 'brand new' and like 'the inside of a luxury private jet'.
He added it was "the best Airstream restoration project I have ever seen."
Catling has since listed it on eBay for £120,000 alongside his other vans.
Channel 4 also published clips from the episode featuring Catling on their YouTube channel, racking up thousands of hits.

Bonnie Blue BANNED from OnlyFans as adult ‘star' set to lose massive ‘£600k a month' pay after ‘extreme challenge'
The adult 'star' has already hit headlines with previous desperate stunts ONLYBANS Bonnie Blue BANNED from OnlyFans as adult 'star' set to lose massive '£600k a month' pay after 'extreme challenge' Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) CONTROVERSIAL "star" Bonnie Blue has been banned from OnlyFans and is set to lose her massive "£600,000 a month" pay - The Sun can reveal. The content creator who shot to fame by allegedly bedding 1,057 men in 24 hours has had her page pulled due to breach of terms after her "extreme challenge" content "crossed a line". She was making tens of thousand a month via OnlyFans and now that's gone. 'Her page has officially been pulled. Her latest stunts have taken things too far. She's crossed a line and OnlyFans had no choice but to act.' Bonnie - real name Tia Billinger - claims to earn £600,000 a month on the adult site. This means the 25-year-old from a rural village in Derbyshire would be making at least £7.2 million per year - until now. The adult "star" has already hit headlines with previous desperate stunts including apparently breaking the world record by sleeping with 1,057 men in just 12 hours. She then challenged Spring Break "barely legal" college boys to see who could give her the best orgasm - with a pledge to pay for the tuition of the "winner". An OnlyFans spokesperson said: 'Extreme 'challenge' content is not available on OnlyFans and is not permitted under our Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service. "Any breach of our Terms of Service results in content or account deactivation.' Over the weekend Bonnie axed plans to hold a meet and greet session in London in which she would be tied up in a glass box. After pulling the stunt she then planned to host a graphic 24 hour live stream. Bonnie Blue arrested Bonnie was slammed for "promoting rape culture" and labelled "vile" for announcing what she called "Bonnie Blue's petting zoo". Explaining the sickening idea during an interview on Kat Baker's podcast, she said that she was going to be naked and tied up in a glass box, which would be "open for the public" to do basically whatever they want to her. When Kat asked "where" the box was going to be, Bonnie continued that she would be in "the centre of London" but "in a house". Making the planned event even more repulsive, Bonnie told Kat that she wanted to beat her own record by "doing 2,000". It comes just weeks after The Sun exposed Bonnie for deliberately faking an arrest in order to hit the headlines. Bonnie's right hand man - documentary maker Josh Spooner - also appeared in the clip. She was also banned from Nottingham Forest stadium last month. Despite being slapped with a permanent stadium suspension by Forest in April after trying to enter the ground and pull off a viral stunt, the adult content creator then sneaked into the Chelsea away end in disguise with a cap, wig and glasses. Bonnie was eventually found and escorted out - with footage circulating online capturing the moment.

Madeleine McCann: Inside the Secret Evidence is now available to watch online for free on our YouTube page. German and Portuguese police used JCB-type machines and ground-penetrating radar, but found "nothing of consequence" - dashing hopes of pinning Brueckner with DNA evidence.

German and Portuguese police used JCB-type machines and ground-penetrating radar, but found "nothing of consequence" - dashing hopes of pinning Brueckner with DNA evidence. TIMELINE OF EVENTS Here's a timeline of the case which has gripped the world. May 3, 2007 Madeleine McCann disappears from her family's holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal, sparking a massive police search and becoming one of the most famous missing persons cases in history. January 15, 2016 Neighbour reports a possible 'grave' at Brueckner's abandoned factory in East Germany. Cops find disturbing images on USB sticks and launch a full-scale search. February 16, 2016 Christian Brueckner is convicted for abusing a girl of five in a park after images found on his laptop. He was sentenced to 15-months behind bars but was already on the run by then. May 3, 2017 Around this time, Helge B calls an information hotline after watching a ten-year anniversary special on the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. He reports an alleged confession by Christian Brueckner. September 27, 2018 On-the-run Christian Brueckner is arrested over outstanding drugs claims in Italy. He is extradited to Germany the following year. December 16, 2019 Christian Brueckner was convicted, in Germany, for the 2005 rape of an American woman in Praia da Luz, Portugal, after his DNA was matched to a hair found on her bed. He was sentenced to seven years behind bars. June 4, 2020 German prosecutors reveal to the world they have a suspect in custody under investigation for the abduction of Madeleine McCann. For the first time they claim Madeleine is dead. German media later name him as Christian B (Christian Brueckner). June 23, 2023 In his first interview, witness Helge B alleges to German newspaper Bild that Christian Brueckner all-but-confessed the Madeleine abduction to him, by allegedly saying 'she didn't scream' as they talked about the case, at a music festival, in Spain. February 16, 2024 Brueckner goes on trial accused of none-McCann allegations of rape and sex assault, in Braunschweig, Germany. Prosecutors hope for a conviction to keep him behind bars permanently and lead to McCann charges. October 8, 2024 Brueckner was acquitted of all claims. Prosecutors launch an appeal, however. Decision pending. September 17, 2025 Date on which Christian Brueckner will be released from custody without action being taken. Prosecutors require an arrest warrant for a retrial over claims from last year - or over the McCann case.
