Britain's Got Talent star reveals wife is pregnant with their first baby - over ten years after winning the show

Michael Auger has revealed that his wife Nicole is expecting their first child. The Britain's Got Talent winner, 35, who is part of the singing group Collabro who won the ITV show in 2014, shared the joyful news on Instagram on Tuesday. Posting a touching photo of the couple beside the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Michael can be seen kneeling as he plants a kiss on Nicole's bare baby bump. Captioning the snap, he wrote: 'In the city of love celebrating our new lil love (love heart emoji) #paris # eurostar.' Following the announcement, friends, family, and fans flooded the comments with congratulations. Michael's Collabro bandmate Jamie Lambert commented: 'Lovely lovely lovely (love heart emoji).' While a follower gushed: 'This is the most gorgeous news. I'm so incredibly happy for you both!!! Sending you, Nicole and your very precious 'lil love' all my love and huge congratulation.'; 'Wow!! Omg omg omg!! The best news ever. Congratulations. What a gorgeous bambino you guys are gonna make.' Collabro, made up of Michael, Jamie, Matthew Pagan, and Thomas J. Redgrave, shot to fame after winning Britain's Got Talent in 2014 and sold over two million albums. However, the group faced challenges in 2016 when former member Richard Hadfield left following a dispute over posting cover songs on YouTube. Since then, the four-piece continued to tour and supported Cliff Richard on his Just Fabulous Rock 'n' Roll Tour of the UK in 2017, before embarking on their 51-date Road to the Royal Albert Hall tour in 2019. After reaching the semi-finals on Britain's Got Talent: The Champions, the band announced a farewell tour in 2022, leaving fans heartbroken. At the time, they said: 'We are so incredibly grateful to have been allowed to do what we love for eight years, and the fans are to thank for that. 'Their constant support and love have meant that we have travelled the world singing, and we can't thank them enough. 'We are really excited to travel around the UK in December with a spectacular show, which we feel is the most fitting way to say goodbye.' However, just two weeks ago, Collabro surprised fans with news of a comeback, announcing a UK cathedral tour in February 2026. They said: 'We're BACK! Over the past few years, we've noticed you guys asking for a UK tour, and we've missed you so much that we've decided to do one! 'We will be visiting stunning cathedrals across the UK in February 2026 singing our beautiful harmonies in candlelight!!' Outside of Collabro, Michael also co-hosted the Stage Door podcast with RuPaul's Drag Race star Divina Decampo, which sees them interview guests from the theatre world.

Pregnant Love Island star Shaughna Phillips left stunned as she learns the gender of her baby and reveals why doctors are forcing her to undergo a C-section - ahead of welcoming second child with jailed boyfriend Billy Webb

Pregnant Shaughna Phillips has revealed she already knows the gender of her baby and took to Instagram on Thursday to share a snap of the moment she learned the news for the first time. The Love Island star, 31, looked stunned in the photo just days after confirming she was expecting, with The Sun later reporting that she would once again be welcoming a child with jailed boyfriend Billy Webb, who is also the father of her daughter Lucia. During a Q&A with followers one asked 'So pleased for you! Are you going to find out the gender?' to which Shaughna shared the snap of herself with her mouth wide open in utter disbelief and wrote: 'We do know the gender, this was my reaction'. She also revealed that was due in November, but said she'd be undergoing a C-Section so would likely welcome the tot a little earlier. Shaughna explained that while she had already planned to undergo the procedure following her now two-year-old's 'rough' birth, doctors had also insisted on it, due to her suffering from a 'low lying placenta'. Reflecting on Lucia's birth she wrote: 'Induction, 2 days labour, pushed for an hour and she was not moving, She got rally stressed and was rushed for forceps which FAILED because she turned around, and then she was rushed for an emergency C-Section and ended up with a postpartum haemorrhage'. She continued: 'So I always said I never wanted to risk that happening again and my baby being in such distress so always planned on having a C-section for future babes'. 'At my 20 week scan that said I have a low lying placenta which means I have tio have a section so ended up not being my choice anyway LOL'. Following the birth of Lucia in April 2023, Billy, 29, was sentenced to nine years in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to supply 4.5kg of cocaine worth at least £360,000. Speaking to The Mirror on Thursday, Shaughna said she got pregnant the very first time her ovulation period had coincided with Billy being at home. 'It was the first time that my ovulation window coincided with Billy being home,' Shaughna said. 'I was like, "You know what? Why not? Let's just see" - and literally, the next day, I said to Billy, "I think I'm pregnant".' She went on to hint that Billy is set for early release and will be here for the birth. Shaughna said: 'I know the date that he's due to be home, but I'm not saying it just because anything could happen - but hopefully he will be fully home before my baby is due.' Shaughna and Billy have been enjoying family days out over the past seven months while he has been on day release from an open prison. An insider said: 'Billy has been in a Category D prison, which means he has been able to spend a fair bit of time with Shaughna. 'He even managed to be home over Christmas, which meant a lot to her and, of course, Lucia. He hasn't been released as many people thought, but he has a lot of privileges.' In Category D prisons inmates have minimal security and those deemed 'low risk' inmates are allowed to leave the site to work, 'resettle' or attend education during the day. MailOnline contacted Shaughna's representatives for comment at the time. Announcing her pregnancy on Sunday, Shaughna posted a video of herself taking a pregnancy test and showed off her growing bump. She also shared a sweet video of her daughter Lucia, two, wearing a t-shirt saying 'Big Sis' and 'In my big sister era' to go with the announcement. Shaughna did not reveal who the father of her baby is as she wrote: 'Adding a little more love to our family…' Shaughna revealed the couple had spent Christmas together in December after the family reunited to enjoy a Christmas grotto together. Sharing an adorable video to her Instagram, the reality star revealed that she and her partner had taken Lucia to see Santa and added she never thought this day would come. She captioned the clip: 'If you had told me this time last year, that me and Billy would be taking Lucia to see Santa next Christmas, I probably wouldn't have let myself believe you 'The best couple of days, this Christmas is going to be so special'. The blonde bombshell has been very open with her fans throughout the ordeal and previously revealed on her podcast Oh, Baby with Shaughna and Holly that she had struggled to come to terms with the situation. She said: 'It's the most gut-wrenching position to be in. 'And, I mean, before I even answer this question, I want to just put it out there that you can judge me all you want, but please don't let me know, because I feel like unless you've been in this position you can't really have an opinion on it. 'Because before I was in this position, before I had a baby, if you had asked me would I ever, ever take my child into a prison, the answer would be absolutely not. Anyone that does that is crazy. 'And then, lo and behold, I'm now in this position. And I think the thing is, we're always going to be co-parents. 'And I know that me and my dad had the best relationship ever, and to me, my dad is the best person in the world. 'And I don't want Lucia to think differently of her father. I would never, ever stop him from seeing her, ever.' What is a Low-Lying Placenta? In some women, the placenta attaches low down in the uterus and may cover part of or all of the cervix (the neck of the womb). In most cases, the placenta moves upwards and out of the way as the uterus grows during pregnancy. For some women, however, the placenta continues to lie in the lower part of the uterus as the pregnancy progresses. If the placenta remains low-lying, you will have an additional scan at 36 weeks. If the placenta remains low at 36 weeks then you will see an obstetrician who will to decide the safest way to deliver the baby.

Maya Jama insists there's 'a lot of frauds' in TV industry who are 'evil' and 'mean' off camera and reveals how she secured Love Island hosting job after previously being rejected

Maya Jama has insisted that there are 'a lot of frauds' working in television, who are only friendly when the cameras are rolling. The presenter, 30, appeared on her pal Chunkz's podcast, The Chunkz Show, where she opened up on career and how she secured the coveted Love Island hosting role. As Chunkz praised her for being so down-to-earth and nothing like the preconceived ideas people had about celebrities, Maya insisted: 'There are a lot of frauds.' Fellow TV personality Laurence McKenna chimed in to say: 'But also it's okay to be a presenter who is very friendly on camera and a bit reserved off camera.' But Maya was quick to cut in: 'Reserved yes, but b***h? There's some people who are evil off camera!' Keeping tight-lipped on who she was referring to, she added that she'd worked with people who acted differently after the cameras cut. She explained: 'A lot of people have been exposed like that. I won't say any names but on big telly, people have been caught on their mikes being like mean.' Elsewhere, Maya also reflected on her role as the host of Love Island, revealing that she had got the job after previously being rejected for being 'younger than the Islanders'. She recalled: 'It was crazy because I was a fan of the show, I used to watch it from series one pretty much, I loved Love Island and obviously they had previous hosts before me. 'I was actually living in America at the time when they wanted to meet about me potentially hosting. They called when I was in America and they were like "Would Maya be interested in hosting?" 'And I was like "Yeah I would be interested. But this is kind of mad because I kind of like accepted I wasn't really going to be a Love Island host".' She went on: 'I remember once ages ago I wanted to do it and we had a conversation and they were like "She's too young, because she's younger than the Islanders at the time." And I was like "Yeah that's fair enough." 'And I still am the same age as some of the Islanders, but obviously they think I've grown up a little bit now so it makes sense.' Maya then went on to credit her fans for helping secure her the role, saying: 'So then I came back to London and we just kind of spoke, I didn't audition it was more like a chat. 'But I will big up like Twitter and the public because they were kind of calling for me to host for a long time and I think they did pay attention to like the public, which is lovely.' Opening up on the show, she admitted: 'I'm not going to lie it is a very lovely job, just in terms of like in January everyone's miserable in England so it's lovely just to get away and be in South Africa.' And when asked which is her favourite out of the nine seasons she's presented, she confessed: 'My favourite so far, I think I'm allowed to say, the Ella and Tyrique series. It just had me gagged all the time, I'd constantly be like "What what?"' Giving fans an insight into the behind-the-scenes process, Maya insisted that the producers weren't allowed to tell the Islanders what to do or how to act, as 'it has to be real'. While she added that she doesn't let them tell her who will be dumped ahead of time, so she doesn't give the game away accidentally. She explained: 'I also do this technique where I don't let them tell me who is going until I'm literally stood in front of them in my ear. 'Because I don't want to stare at them or give it away. Literally as I say it I find out, one second before everybody else basically. 'I've never said the wrong name or something but like there is cameras constantly around and then they like the dramatic pauses. 'It's always funny with the new Islanders when they're not used to me saying something and pausing for ages, so they're all looking around like "is she like frozen? Why is it so silent?" And I feel so awkward for them! 'But I don't know if it's like illegal or what, but they're not allowed to tell them what to do. The most they can encourage is like "have a little chat..." But it has to be real because it's reality.' Maya also confessed that she felt protective over the Islanders, saying she had first hand experience of how intense the environment is and how hard it is to be vulnerable on TV. She said: 'I have such a soft spot for them because obviously watching the show on the outside is one thing, but being there and being around them. 'Your emotions in there, you've got people you like and then there's someone coming in to take them, you've got to like lay your heart on the line, there's millions of people watching. 'I am like my little my shaylas, because I just feel like this is not easy for young people to go and put themselves out like that for one and for two like it can be tough.' 'It's only on Aftersun that I can actually chat to them properly, but in between takes and stuff when I'm in there I will try and be like "are you okay?" or like check in, but you won't you won't see those bits.'
