Abu Dhabi – UAE: Rabdan Academy, a global leader in safety, security, defence, emergency preparedness and crisis management has been awarded the prestigious Institutional Excellence Certificate «Validated by EFQM» by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), becoming the first higher education institution in the UAE to achieve this distinguished recognition.
This milestone reflects the Academy's deep commitment to excellence, continuous improvement, and global best practices. By implementing the EFQM Excellence Model, Rabdan Academy has strengthened its approach to institutional development, ensuring long-term impact and sustainable progress.

His Excellency James Anthony Morse, President of Rabdan Academy, emphasized the significance of this achievement, stating: 'The Academy's receipt of this prestigious certificate reflects its unwavering commitment to institutional excellence across all its operations. Earning the EFQM certification reinforces Rabdan Academy's role in supporting the UAE's national strategies by preparing highly skilled professionals for future challenges. The evaluation report commended the Academy for achieving advanced levels in various areas, including institutional innovation, partnership development, operational process improvement and efficiency enhancement. It also praised the Academy's ability to implement continuous improvement using the RADAR methodology, ensuring sustainable and tangible long-term results.
With the «Validated by EFQM» certification, Rabdan Academy is poised to continue its journey towards achieving the highest standards of institutional excellence. This achievement follows Rabdan Academy's recent success in the QS Stars global university rating, where it received the highest "5-star" rating in six main categories: education, facilities, employability, global engagement, academic development, and governance. This marks a significant improvement in four new categories compared to the 2022 evaluation results.

It offers a robust combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on training, enabling participants to develop 21st-century teaching skills. Sharjah Education Academy has taken on the task of localizing and adapting the program content to align with the UAE's educational context and national priorities. The program is delivered in both Arabic and English through a flexible learning model, allowing participants to earn their specialized certificates in just six months, while accommodating their professional and personal responsibilities. This initiative represents a tangible example of effective collaboration between the education and banking sectors and reaffirms the Academy's vision to elevate the quality of early childhood education by preparing qualified, empowered educators capable of driving long-term educational progress. Applications are still open for the Spring 2026 intake. Classroom assistants interested in joining the Early Childhood Education Certificate Program and taking advantage of remaining scholarships funded by Invest Bank are encouraged to submit their applications through the Academy's official website.

ADGM Academy, PGIM launch RealAssetX Abu Dhabi to drive innovation

ABU DHABI - ADGM Academy (ADGMA) has partnered with PGIM, the global investment management business of Prudential Financial, Inc., to launch the RealAssetX Abu Dhabi Innovation Centre - a cutting-edge lab dedicated to advancing sustainable technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and deep tech within the real asset industry. Set to open in September this year at the ADGM Academy offices, the centre will bring together global expertise to tackle the most pressing challenges and opportunities in real estate, infrastructure, smart cities, and related sectors. The announcement follows the strategic partnership formed between PGIM and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) announced in December last year to support the establishment of the centre. The RealAssetX Abu Dhabi Innovation Centre will focus on three key areas: climate technologies, advancing decarbonisation and environmental resilience; AI-driven decision-making, enhancing asset management and investment strategies through advanced analytics; and breakthrough applications, exploring blockchain for real estate, smart infrastructure systems and advanced materials.
