Zillennials, Tell Me The Generational Trends You Missed
So, if you're in the age range where you're a little young to have had a BlackBerry but a little old to be rocking barrel jeans, I want to know: what's a millennial trend you were too young for, or a Gen Z trend you're too old for?
Maybe you missed the era of deep side parts, but lowkey think they're a serve. And maybe you're not exactly clicking with the chic haircuts du jour, either.
Perhaps you feel torn between the extreme skinny jeans of 2014 and the ridiculously wide-legged pants (bordering on JNCO jeans) that the kids are wearing now. I need to hear about it.
If you're judgmental about any current Gen Z trends, obviously, I wanna know. Or maybe you feel like there's a millennial trend you missed out on that you really want to come back — seriously, tell me about it!
Whatever example you think of, leave your thoughts down in the comments below! Or, if you prefer, you can write into this anonymous form. Seriously — I want to hear from you! Who knows — your answer could be included in an upcoming BuzzFeed article.

Boxing On Netflix: Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis Set For Nov. 14
Jake Paul will battle one of boxing's biggest stars — Gervonta "Tank" Davis — in a fight that will take place on Friday, November 14 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta and stream live globally on Netflix. The contracted weight for the bout has yet to be confirmed. "We're still figuring that out," said Nakisa Bidarian, the co-founder of Paul's Most Valuable Promotions, which will promote the bout. No matter the weight agreement, the event will undoubtedly get billed as a big man (Paul) vs. a little man (Davis). Paul, who's 6-foot-1, weighed in at 199.4 pounds for his most recent fight, a decision win against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in June. Davis, the WBC lightweight champion, stands 5-foot-5 and came in at 133.8 pounds when he drew with Lamont Roach Jr. in March. "Jake will definitely have to come down below his 200-pound weight that he's been fighting at. I can tell you that we're going to have a fight that will have a definitive outcome, whether by way of knockout or decision," Bidarian said. Bidarian also confirmed that the match will not be an exhibition, as some outlets have reported it would be. Paul targeted a fight with Davis after talks for a heavyweight bout with former unified champion Anthony Joshua collapsed. "I think it's just a matter of hitting 'go,'" said Bidarian about the ongoing discussions for Paul-Joshua in 2026. "Jake is looking at it like he wants to show the world that he's going to fight David and then he plans to take on Goliath." Negotiations between both Paul and Davis stretched on for most of 2025, and the fight only materialized after the Davis-Roach rematch set for August fell apart. Paul and Davis has been engaged in a social-media war for several years, with Paul firing off the latest salvo with a statement to ESPN. "Gervonta is an angry little elf who has been disrespecting my name for too long," Paul said. 'His nickname might be Tank, but I'm an FPV drone and I'm about to disable his ass. ' Davis (30-0-1, 28 KOs) is one of boxing's biggest draws. His April 2023 fight with Ryan Garcia at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas scored big numbers with a reported $1.2 million PPV buys and a gate of $22.8 million, fifth-highest gate in U.S. boxing history. Davis has dealt with legal issues over the summer with a misdemeanor battery charge from an alleged domestic dispute with his ex-girlfriend on Father's Day. Charges were recently dropped. Now Davis will fight arguably the most marketable brand in the sport — a YouTuber-turned-boxer in Paul. "This is a fight between the biggest fighters in the world for Gen Z and Gen Alpha audiences," said Bidarian.

Walmart Is Selling Labubus—Snag One Before It's Too Late
I am right on the cusp between Millennial and Gen Z, which means I'm chronically online enough to know what a Labubu still not fully get why everyone is freaking TF out over the monster plushies. And yet! Even I was tempted to hit "add to cart" when I caught wind Walmart quietly teamed up with StockX for daily drops of the viral Pop Mart collectibles. Now, whether you've been buying up every Labubu (or Canal Street Lafufu) you can find with "must rescue them all" energy or this is your first shot to be culturally relevant and/or cosplay as a Gen Z cool kid, here's the tea: Walmart is releasing a fresh stock every single day through Friday. So while, yes, they're bound to sell out—and likely before your typical post-work, wine-fueled shopping doom-scroll—there's always tomorrow! If you're still confused, I get it—namely, because that was me not too long ago. However, let me be the one to quickly catch you up. The cute (and slightly creepy) monster plushies are basically a cartoon take on the bag charm trend and part of Pop Mart's blind-box collectible universe. They come in all different colors and 'fits, but you won't know what you're getting till you get it. Hence the blind-box! Each Labubu off Walmart is brand-new with tags and comes verified and shipped directly by StockX. While $68 might seem pricey for a lil emotional support gremlin, the price tag really isn't that bad when you consider the fact that the most expensive one sold for over $230,000—and no, I don't believe it was the ~ one and only 24k Labubu. If you've fully surrendered to the hype (and are just straight up hoarding the plushies at this point), I have more good news! There's also a sealed case with six blind boxes from the Exciting Macaron Vinyl Faced collection for $295. To be fair, why settle for one Labubu when you could have six? Am I succumbing to the TikTok algorithm a little too hard, or is this just a great deal?
