NFL draft expert thinks FSU player could 'dominate' Senior Bowl
One of the first steps of the NFL draft process is the Reese's Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama. It gives prospects a chance to meet with NFL teams and showcase their skills against other top prospects.
There are always a few players who dominate it and vault themselves up draft boards, last year that was former FSU defensive tackle Braden Fiske and another Seminole could be in line to make a similar move.
Matt Miller, who covers the NFL draft for ESPN, believes former FSU defensive tackle Joshua Farmer, is set up for a big week.
'Getting caught up on some film work and I think FSU defensive tackle Joshua Farmer could dominate the Senior Bowl next week. He's incredibly quick for 315 pounds but his play power is WOW,' he wrote on social media.
Farmer isn't the only FSU player Miller shouted out, he added that Farmer and cornerback Azareye'h Thomas are both 'really good prospects.'
Farmer started all 12 games for FSU in 2024, making 32 tackles, 8.0 tackles for loss, and 4.0 sacks. He was named honorable mention All-ACC for his efforts.
He spent four seasons with FSU and finished his career with 80 tackles, 21.0 tackles for loss, 11.0 sacks, and one forced fumble.
The 2025 NFL draft is set to take place in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and will start on April 24 and last until April 26. The Seminoles had 10 players taken in the 2024 NFL draft and have several draft candidates this year, with Farmer and Thomas being the top two prospects.

'Just try to take maybe five minutes, six minutes out of my day. That's a memory they get to have for a lifetime. Even for me, those are special moments I get to share with fans.' Trey Hendrickson not expected at Bengals camp this week, risking fines
Cincinnati Bengals edge rusher Trey Hendrickson won't be at mandatory minicamp this week. Bengals rookie Shemar Stewart escalates contract standoff with team
Cincinnati Bengals first-round pick Shemar Stewart went very public and escalated his contract standoff with the team at the onset of mandatory camp this week. Speaking with reporters about his dissatisfaction with his contract standoff, Stewart said he was disappointed with how the Bengals are handling the whole situation and remained adamant that he won't practice until his rookie deal gets signed.
