Kate Middleton's 'dishy silver fox' aide turns heads with Wimbledon appearance
Princess Kate's recent appearance at Wimbledon, alongside her private secretary, has been the talk of tennis fanatics.
The Princess of Wales was first spotted at the 2025 women's final on a balmy Saturday, before being flanked by Royal family members Prince William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte for the men's final the following day.
As patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Kate had the honour of presenting the trophies to the ladies' finalists, offering words of comfort to a visibly moved Amanda Asiminova by placing a reassuring hand on the American player and advising: "Keep your head high."
While Kate's presence in the Royal box triggered a round of applause on Saturday, the appearance of her dashing aide left some attendees somewhat preoccupied. Lieutenant Colonel Tom White, who escorted her during her eagerly-awaited arrival, quickly became a topic of enthusiastic conversation.
Admirers couldn't help but gush over the 36 year old donned in a crisply cut double-breasted cream blazer with a smart shirt and tie. Social media saw comments like "He's a fox!" and "I mean, silver fox."
Others commented with affectionate remarks such as "Well he sure is dishy," and "Flirt mode is on," alongside heart-eyes emojis. The charm offensive continued with one fan humorously questioning: "Is it a prerequisite for equerrys to be good looking? !", reports the Mirror.
Lt Col White initially joined the Royal Household in 2020 as the late Queen's Squire, serving until her passing on 8th September 2022. The Colonel was the first commando of the Royal Marines to hold this title.
In addition to his Royal duties, White is also a skilled tennis player, bearing a striking resemblance to retired Wimbledon champion, Roger Federer, according to fans.
Prior to joining the Royal Family's staff, he served in Afghanistan in 2009, where he played a crucial role in preventing a school bombing in Helmland.
Reports suggest that Princess Kate invited Lt Col White to accompany her at a public engagement in 2023, and he was subsequently appointed to Prince William and Kate's household staff.
Following the departure of her trusted aide Hannah Cockburn-Logie in October 2022 after two years of service, Kate had been without a private secretary.
A private secretary for a member of the Royal Family is akin to their chief of staff, ensuring the smooth running of the royal's day-to-day activities, from coordinating Royal engagements to briefing on meetings.
Private secretaries also accompany the royals during public appearances, often standing a few feet away to keep a vigilant eye on security and fans.

Visitors don't even need to get out of their cars to place an order, which can be done through their vehicle touchscreen. Their food will be served in Tesla Cybertruck-shaped boxes.
