Bayern reach agreement with German sensation Woltemade
Bayern Munich have agreed personal terms with VfB Stuttgart forward Nick Woltemade over a summer move, according to Florian Plettenberg.
The German international has given the green light to a five-year contract until 2030 with Bayern, who are yet to open talks with Stuttgart.

However, Stuttgart are trying to retain the forward, whose price tag is believed to be around €60 million.
Bayern will remain hopeful of getting the deal done with a substantial offer, backed by Woltemade's desire to make a switch to the Allianz Arena.
The Bavarians have beaten Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan for Woltemade, who is one of the hottest prospects in Europe at the moment.
The 23-year-old is currently tearing up the U-21 European Championship, bagging six goals and three assists to inspire Germany to the finals, where Die Mannschaft will meet England.
Woltemade also had a prolific campaign last season at the club level. He bagged 17 goals and three assists in all competitions, including the strike in Stuttgart's win against Arminia Bielefeld in the DFB Pokal finals.

With Woltemade, Bayern have continued their strategy of snapping up the best talents within the Bundesliga.
The young striker has been viewed as a backup for Harry Kane, but he will be looking to compete for a place in the starting XI.
Woltemade can also play as a second striker and No.10.
His arrival will fortify an already dangerous-looking forward line, featuring Michael Olise, Jamal Musiala and Kingsley Coman.

Stop EVERYTHING: Liverpool might have their next Mo Salah
Stop EVERYTHING: Liverpool might have their next Mo Salah Liverpool might have found their next Mo Salah. It's time to stop the transfer plans. Liverpool relied fairly heavily on Mo Salah last season. The Egyptian put in arguably the most incredible season of his career - and that's saying something, given his debut campaign saw him break the Premier League goal record for a 38-game season. Advertisement But that's really how good he was. Salah won both the Premier League Golden Boot and the Playmaker award in a sensational effort as Liverpool won the title. There is a bit of a 'problem' here, though. Salah turned 33 this month and has two years left on his Liverpool contract. It's difficult to believe there will be another one after that. The forward will not be at this level forever and Liverpool even need to entertain the idea that next season sees a drop-off. Now, we don't think that will happen but you've got to be open to it. Just in case. So here's the real problem: Liverpool don't have another Salah. No one really does, in truth, such is his incredibly high level. Advertisement We mean that there's no obvious successor, no backup, no replacement. Or is there? Harvey Elliott is thriving Harvey Elliott scored twice for England Under 21s on Thursday as they qualified for the UEFA U21 European Championship final. The Liverpool star was the best player on the pitch - and clearly the most decisive. Elliott proved without a doubt that he's a fantastic player and one worth incredible money. That latter part is particularly relevant as Liverpool are open to selling him. The 22-year-old barely started last season under Arne Slot. Injuries halted things in the opening few months but Elliott simply didn't get many chances after that - despite some brilliant moments. Advertisement Because the truth is, Elliott is a fantastic player. His performance against the Netherlands on Wednesday suggests he's what Liverpool are looking for, too, as Salah's successor. Elliott put up seven shots while playing from the right flank - Salah numbers. It's something the Egyptian has done 26 times in the Premier League since moving to Anfield and a real hallmark of his play. You don't need to be the greatest finisher in the world - the important thing is getting chances. That's the difficult part. Elliott has shown he can do that and it's a trait few players can match. But it also shows that there's real potential from him as a right-winger. Advertisement His 'best' position has typically been seen to be through the middle or in midfield under Jurgen Klopp. Is the secret here actually that Elliott does it all? Is he actually a brilliantly versatile player who can backup Salah like few can while also doing the same for Florian Wirtz? We think he might be, even if Liverpool don't necessarily agree. Regardless, we think a big-match display like Wednesday's - and the similarities to a Salah display - should stop any plans to sell for now.

As reported by Leggo, Roma have renewed talks with Atalanta and Scamacca's entourage. Stuttgart firm on keeping Woltemade despite reported Bayern agreement
VfB Stuttgart have been taken by surprise by reports suggesting their star striker Nick Woltemade has agreed personal terms on a move to Bayern Munich, according to Bild. The German tabloid claims Stuttgart are 'upset' that Bayern held talks with Woltemade behind the scenes while the Swabians were simultaneously trying to extend the player's contract. Advertisement In an interview with Bild, Stuttgart's director of sport, Fabian Wohlgemuth, made it clear once again that the player is not for sale. 'The fact that others have noticed his development and that reports of interest from other clubs appear almost daily changes nothing about the fact that Nick's journey with us is far from over,' Wohlgemuth emphasized. 'We are firmly planning with Nick and want to benefit from his sporting qualities next year as well. There is no alternative plan,' he added. With Woltemade contracted to the club until 2028 without a release clause, Stuttgart are in a strong negotiating position. Recently, it was reported that it would take an offer of at least €60 million to make them reconsider their stance.
