The launch in Paris marks the start of a year-long campaign of events, films and related articles and news, highlighting the achievements of engineers and engineering around the world, and promoting engineering as a career.

("Pan Global" or the "Company") (TSXV: PGZ) (OTCQB: PGZFF) (FRA: 2EU) is pleased to provide updates on its concurrent drill programs at the Company's 100%-owned flagship Escacena Project ("Escacena") in southern Spain and Cármenes Project ("Cármenes") in northern Spain. "The 2025 drill programs at the Escacena and Cármenes Projects are testing a compelling suite of high-priority targets, highlighting excellent potential for additional new discoveries of significant mineralization," said Tim Moody, Pan Global's President and CEO. "Simultaneously, the team is advancing the plans for the La Romana copper-tin-silver deposit's maiden Resource due for delivery before year-end, and the step-out drill program is targeting wider zones of higher-grade mineralization for inclusion in the maiden Resource. A total of 20 drillholes have been completed at Escacena and Cármenes as part of the 7,000-meter 2025 drill program, testing multiple targets. Eight additional wide-spaced step-out drillholes are planned at La Romana to test extensions of the high-grade mineralization ahead of the maiden Mineral Resource Estimate. Recent drill results have extended the surface strike-length of the mineralization to 1.7km, and it remains open in several areas Five drillholes have recently been completed at the Bravo target, with three additional drillholes planned for this phase of the drill program. Drilling to-date has intersected encouraging alteration and sulphide mineralization. Results to be reported on completion of the planned drilling Drilling currently testing a strong IP chargeability anomaly on three parallel IP lines, extending over 400 meters east-west, in the south of Bravo and 1 km east of the La Romana copper-tin-silver deposit (see Figure 1) Drilling will also test the Hornitos and Plomillos targets, testing coincident soil Pb-Zn and strong co-incident geophysics anomalies (IP, heliborne EM, and magnetics) Information obtained from the ongoing drill programs is being used to revise the geophysics interpretation to identify additional potential mineralization for follow-up drilling, including the La Pantoja target where recent drilling confirmed high grade copper and tin mineralization, including 1.53% Cu, 0.05% Sn, 3.9 g/t Ag over 3m in drillhole LPD01 and 5.36% Cu, 8.7 g/t Ag over 1m in drillhole LPD03 (see media release on May 12, 2025) Cármenes Three of six planned drillholes at the Providencia target have been completed Results highlight wide breccia intercepts over more than 100m width, and gold mineralization from near surface in every drillhole to date (see media releases on May 19, 2025 and June 18, 2025), including 1.08 g/t over 46m in drillhole PVD02, including 6.27 g/t Au over 4m 0.37 g/t Au over 56m in drillhole PVD03, including 2.19 g/t Au over 4m, 1.05 g/t Au over 10m and 1.22 g/t Au over 4m 0.23 g/t Au over 110m in PVD04, including 0.59 g/t Au, 1.05% Cu, 0.22% Co, 0.22% Ni over 4m, and 0.51 g/t Au over 14m Drilling currently testing an area of breccia with gold identified in soil, trench, and channel sampling immediately east and outside of the historical Providencia mine works (see Figures 2 and 3) Detailed mapping and surface geochemistry sampling planned ahead of drilling at the Profunda target, 1km south of Providencia Target selection and prioritization also in progress following interpretation of the recent helicopter electromagnetic, magnetic, and radiometric survey over Cármenes, with more than 30 new targets identified Pan Global is also advancing the selection process for a consultant to deliver a NI 43-101-compliant Technical Report, including a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for the La Romana copper-tin-silver deposit at the Company's flagship Escacena Project located within 40km of three existing mining operations/developments and processing plants on the Iberian Pyrite Belt. * Drillholes BR03 and BR03a abandoned About the Escacena Project The Escacena Project comprises a large, contiguous, 5,760-hectare land package controlled 100% by Pan Global in the east of the Iberian Pyrite Belt. Escacena is located near the operating mine at Riotinto and is immediately adjacent to the former Aznalcóllar and Los Frailes mines where Minera Los Frailes (Grupo México) is in the final permitting stage for mine development. The Escacena Project hosts Pan Global's La Romana and La Pantoja copper-tin-silver discoveries and the Cañada Honda copper-gold discovery. Escacena hosts a number of other prospective targets, including Bravo, Barbacena, El Pozo, Romana Norte, San Pablo, Zarcita, Hornitos, La Jarosa, Romana Deep, and Cortijo. About the Cármenes Project The Cármenes Project is located approx. 55km north of León in northern Spain in the same geologic belt as Orvana's Orovalle copper-gold mining operation and the Salamon gold deposit and comprises five 100%-owned Investigation Permits over 5,653 hectares. The Project area is highly prospective for multiple bodies or "clusters" of carbonate-hosted "pipe-like" breccia style copper, nickel, cobalt, and gold mineralization. The area includes the former Profunda and Providencia mines that last operated in the 1930s, producing concentrates of copper and cobalt with nickel. Numerous other smaller historical mine workings in the area highlight potential for additional breccia pipes. These types of ore deposits can have significant vertical dimensions exceeding 1km. Clean energy is the future — why are we investing in fossil fuels?
Opinion I don't know about you, but I have to say I'm a bit confused these days. In fact, in political terms, I really don't know whether I'm coming or going. Am I coming out of a fossil fuel-addicted world into a greener cleaner one, or going back to fossil fuels as the only default position to keep Canada financially afloat in the face of a fascist's tariffs? I know which direction almost 80 per cent of us want to be headed, but I'm not sure our provincial and federal leaders agree, given all this talk about gas and oil pipelines cutting through environmentally sensitive northern lands and mega-mining projects in Ontario's 'ring of fire' — peatlands that store a staggering 35 billion tonnes of the world's carbon. So I'm left asking — is this the only way we can cut loose from the U.S. and cope with a trade war, or are our leaders simply taking the easy way out? Easy in the sense that it's all too familiar, seems to be pragmatic and, at least in the short term, may more or less maintain our standard of living. In the somewhat longer term, it won't be easy at all, given that we live in a world that's already blown past the 1.5 degree Celsius mark above pre-industrial levels, and crossed several of the seven thresholds that measure the distance between a climate emergency and climate chaos. Given the latter reality, I find myself asking a couple of simple questions — why aren't Mark Carney and Wab Kinew talking about a clean energy revolution as a way to beat the tariffs and trade war? Why isn't Carney talking about a bolder vision, challenging the government to work together to retool Canada's economy and set our country up to become a world leader in clean energy and green technology? Now, maybe I'm naïve, and god knows I'm no economist, but it seems to me, as I've said before, that if Canada was able to blast forward from an agrarian based economy to an industrialized one in just six years during the Second World War, why can't we do the same now? I mean, we've got a lot of smart Canadians who would likely rise to the challenge and there are quite a few highly skilled Americans looking for a way out of the current political nightmare in their own country, who could be recruited to the cause. And transitioning to clean energy like solar and wind doesn't just make environmental sense, it's also a financially smart, given that renewable energy is now 41 per cent cheaper and just as efficient. It's also more secure, because as UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres recently observed — 'There are no price spikes for sunlight, no embargos on wind.' In fact, countries like Denmark and Germany have already demonstrated that the transition to clean energy works by generating 50 per cent to 67 per cent of their power needs with solar and wind. Canada, meanwhile, is generating a paltry seven per cent to 11 per cent of its total electricity with alternate sources. This when Atlantic Canada is deemed to have some of the best wind power potential in the world and the Prairies have excellent prospects for solar. Not to mention the fact that clean energy technologies offer numerous business opportunities for economic growth, which also expands Canada's trade options. Just look at China where investments low carbon manufacturing as well as solar and EVs have created new and booming markets. And the irony is that the vast majority of Canadians want a renewable energy transition to happen. According to the Pembina Institute, even 70 per cent of Albertans are worried about their heavy dependence on oil and gas, and more than 80 per cent think their government should be planning for new opportunities for energy workers. Which suggests to me that most Canadians know the world is undergoing an energy transition and are worried that our country will be left in the dust by Europe and China where efforts to reach Net Zero are accelerating. Look, the truth is we don't have much time to get this done, given that climate driven, extreme weather events — from flash floods in Texas, to the massive forest fires in Manitoba — are accelerating. So instead of building pipelines and mining one of the world's largest carbon sinks, maybe we should be focused on investments that will bring Canada into an economically stable, low carbon future. Maybe it's time for our leaders to halt the fool's errand of looking to the past for short-term, carbon-heavy solutions, and start talking to Canadians about a just transition to clean energy. Interview: EU, China should enhance mutual trust to promote global stability, says former Slovenian president

LJUBLJANA, July 25 (Xinhua) -- In an era marked by rising geopolitical uncertainties, the EU and China should enhance mutual trust to serve as a stabilizing force, said Danilo Turk, former president of Slovenia and a seasoned international law scholar. Turk, also a former United Nations (UN) assistant secretary-general for political affairs, said that concrete actions are essential for building lasting trust between the two sides. "The EU and China should proactively demonstrate their reliability to each other," he said. He suggested that Brussels and Beijing collaborate more closely on conflict resolution, Middle East peace, and UN reform. "Progress in these challenging areas would solidify the China-Europe partnership as a true anchor for global stability," Turk noted. "The process must be gradual but pursued with urgency." Speaking about China's growing role in global governance, the former president of Slovenia highlighted China's Global Development Initiative and Global Security Initiative as evidence of China's proactive approach to global challenges. "China is rightly articulating its vision for international relations. The world should engage with these ideas to forge consensus," he said. As Slovenia currently serves on the UN Security Council, Turk offered unique insights into his country's potential role in facilitating EU-China relations. "Slovenia's geographic position makes it a natural bridge between regions," he said. "Our ongoing railway modernization project, for instance, could benefit from Chinese expertise, building on successful collaborations like Hisense's investment in Gorenje." "From infrastructure to UN diplomacy, the opportunities are vast," he said. Looking ahead, Turk said that despite divergent perspectives, EU and China share a responsibility to steer the world toward stability. "By focusing on common priorities, from climate to trade, they can shape a multipolar era anchored in cooperation rather than confrontation," he said.
