Blake Shelton returns this week with a brand new tune, and while it may not be a proper smash just yet, it's already become a quick, strong seller. That's nothing new for the country musician, who's become a reliable name when it comes to debuting high on certain charts, even when he's just teasing what's to come.
Shelton's latest tune "Let Him In Anyway" opens at No. 8 on the Country Digital Song Sales chart, the ranking of the bestselling country-only tracks throughout America. The powerhouse artist now claims 41 top 10 hits on the tally. That's more than half of his 71 career total placements.
"Let Him In Anyway" is one of three tracks that debut on this week's Country Digital Song Sales chart. Among the trio, Shelton's new cut scores the second-highest launch.
The top spot belongs to "The Giver" by Chappell Roan, which opens at No. 1. That track earns the recently-named Grammy winner her first-ever placement on the tally — and what a way to start.
In last place is a new version of "I'm Movin' On," originally made famous by Rascal Flatts. This time around, it's a collaboration that features Kelly Clarkson, and it starts in last place, at No. 15.
"Let Him In Anyway" serves as a promotional single from Shelton's forthcoming album For Recreational Use Only. That set is currently slated to arrive on May 9. The new tune isn't the only track he's released from the collection. Shelton previously dropped a proper single, "Texas," which is still going strong — and in fact, it returns to one Billboard ranking this week.
"Texas" helped introduce this new era for Sheltonback in 2024. At the time, it peaked at No. 10 on the Country Digital Song Sales chart, and this week, it earns just its second appearance on that roster. The song reenters at No. 13, giving Shelton two current wins on the 15-spot tally.
Shelton isn't the only major figure bouncing back onto the Country Digital Song Sales chart this week. Post Malone and Morgan Wallen jump into the top 10 with "I Have Some Help," which reappears at No. 10.
Just one slot below "Texas" is another tune that name-checks a U.S. state: Luke Combs's "Ain't No Love in Oklahoma." The cut, which is featured on the Twisters soundtrack, returns at No. 14.

Billy Bob Thornton Reflects on Reuniting with 'Hero' Sam Elliott for ‘Landman'

Filming for Landman Season 2 is well underway, and Billy Bob Thornton can hardly contain his excitement, not just for the plot, but who he gets to work with in the latest installment of the fan-favorite Taylor Sheridan series. In a May 2025 interview with Gold Derby, Billy Bob, who plays Tommy Norris on the show, revealed that he hopes to be working with Taylor and co. for the foreseeable future. "[Landman] is a show I'd like to work on for a while; I told Taylor, I said 'As long as you want me around, I'm here for this,'' he shares. 'I really love the show. I love doing it, I love playing this character, and I love the people I work with. Not only the cast, but the crew also is just stellar.' One Season 2 castmate, in particular, stands out. '[Sam Elliott] has always been a mentor and a hero of mine,' Billy Bob said in the interview. The two have previously shared the screen in 1883 and Tombstone. 'I love the guy, we have a real special relationship in real life… It's so good to see him; he lights my day up.' News of Sam joining the Landman Season 2 cast broke in April 2025, with many fans thrilled for the addition. 'Ooohhh I was hoping for another season and Sam just made me even more excited,' one fan commented on the show's Instagram reveal. 'The patch just leveled up,' someone else wrote. 'Perfect casting,' another fan concluded. Meanwhile, Ali Larter, who plays Angela Norris on the show, also appears to be happy with her newest castmate. 'Just three crows cackling,' she captioned a photo of herself with Sam and Michelle Randolph (Ainsley Norris). Again, fans couldn't contain their excitement over Sam's involvement in Season 2—even though his exact role remains unknown. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Ali Larter (@alilarter) 'Taking an already great show and making it exponentially better by adding Sam Elliott,' one fan commented. 'How epic!
