Crook wearing blue forensic gloves raids Scots restaurant offices for cash
The man can be seen rummaging through the office of the The Ranch in Sighthill at around 6am on Sunday, May 25. This is the moment an Edinburgh restaurant was targeted by a crook who allegedly 'broke in and stole cash' whilst wearing blue forensic gloves. CCTV clips have captured the man who broke into The Ranch in Sighthill at around 6am on Sunday, May 25. The hooded figure can be seen rummaging through the office of the diner. He is also carrying a black backpack. Another CCTV still shows the back of the man as he rifles through a drawer. As Edinburgh Live reports, the restaurant shared an appeal for information to help them identify the brazen crook. Furious residents branded the man a "low life," as they reacted to the post. Posting online, The Torfin said: "This lovely gentlemen broke into our sister restaurant The Ranch the other day. We know one of our amazing followers will recognise this face. Nurse held hand of Ross Monaghan as Lyons crime lord lay dying in Spanish bar
Monaghan was brutally executed in a double gangland murder alongside Eddie Lyons Jnr in his own bar in the Costa Del Sol on Saturday evening. A brave nurse has told how she held the hand of Lyons crime clan hood Ross Monaghan as he lay dying from horror gunshot wounds. Monaghan was brutally executed in a double gangland murder alongside Eddie Lyons Jnr in his own bar in the Costa Del Sol on Saturday evening, May 31. The British nurse was quick on the scene after having a drink with her partner in a nearby bar when a masked gunman fired fatal rounds at the two Lyons crime lords, at Monaghan's bar in Fuengirola. The nurse, who asked not to be named, said she ran to help after she heard the shots. She said: "I was sitting with my partner in a pub when we heard one shot followed by a gap and then four more shots. We all ran into the bar and I was shouting 'get inside'. "At the time they were celebrating the football because the game had just ended. Someone said a person had been shot and because I'm a nurse I ran to Monaghan's bar to see if I could help." Grim CCTV has shown Monaghan scrambling to escape his killer. The footage was captured seconds after Lyons Jnr, 46, was gunned down outside the bar. It shows Monaghan, 43, with blood seeping through his white t-shirt from a chest wound, propping himself up on a table before collapsing. CCTV from the bar shows the gunman - who was dressed in black - chasing Monaghan. Two bystanders, thought to be a waitress and another man in black, can be seen running away from the suspect. The nurse added: "I got to the first person who was lying on his back on the terrace who I later discovered was Eddie Lyons Jnr. He was clearly dead and had what appeared to be a bullet wound in his chest and one in his abdomen. A bar lady told me there was another one in the bar. "The other man, Ross, had one shot in his chest, just on the right side. He was lying on the floor and was still alive but his breathing was laboured. He was wearing a white T-shirt and shorts and trainers and he looked younger than 43. "There was blood everywhere, on the floor and around the service hatch to the kitchen. There was nothing I could do, he wasn't bleeding from his mouth so I just held his hand, stroked his hair and waited for the emergency services." The Record understands the shootings are linked to Scotland's ongoing gangland war. No arrests have been made. Spanish police said: 'The investigation is continuing into the fatal shooting of two men at a pub in Fuengirola, with nothing new at the moment.' Monaghan, who fled Scotland in 2017, to head for the Costa Del Sol is listed as the proprietor of the bar in an online business directory. The gangland figure touched town in Malaga in January 2017, after he was shot twice in a gun attack outside a primary school in Glasgow. Monaghan was reportedly shot twice by a gunman lurking outside St George's Primary, Penilee.
