Car Burglars Evade Arrest and Crash Stolen Vehicle
Temple, TX (FOX 44) – A report of car burglars led to a vehicle pursuit and the arrest of an 18-year-old man and the apprehension of a juvenile.
At around 1:30 A.M. on Sunday, patrol deputies of the Bell County Sheriff's Office responded to assist the Temple Police Department with a report of car burglars near the 17100 block of N.E. H.K. Dodgen Loop near 50th Street. Upon arrival a white Kia Soul, which was reported stolen by Temple PD, was deemed the suspect vehicle and deputies attempted to stop the vehicle. The driver failed to stop and evaded arrest leading to a vehicle pursuit.
During the pursuit the suspect vehicle crashed in the 5000 block of South 31st Street near Water's Dairy Road in Temple. The occupants exited the vehicle and fled from officers, evading arrest and an outstanding warrant for criminal trespass. Police managed to apprehend two males with the assistance of the K-9 unit.
The 18-year-old driver, Jaedyn Sanders, was booked into the Bell County Jail for evading arrest in a motor vehicle and on foot, as well as the outstanding warrant for criminal trespassing. The second male is a juvenile who is being detained for evading arrest on foot.
The original burglaries of vehicles and the stolen vehicle are being investigated

2 arrested and charged with murder in Seminole County shooting
Two people have been arrested and charged with murder in the Monday evening shooting at a home in unincorporated Altamonte Springs, according to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office. The suspects, Tristin Tully Bennette, 18, and Natalia Precious Voltaire, 24, were arrested around 5 p.m. Tuesday during a traffic stop by Altamonte Springs Police officers in the East Altamonte area near Northlake Boulevard, according to a Wednesday news release from the Sheriff's Office. Multiple firearms and other evidence was recovered and the pair were questioned and arrested. Voltaire and Bennette were charged with first-degree murder, robbery with a firearm and grand theft of a firearm. They were booked into the John E. Polk Correctional Facility without bond. Sheriff's deputies responded at 7:48 p.m. Monday to a report of a shooting at 470 Forest Lake Drive, the agency said. Upon arrival, deputies found 19-year-old Nicco Diamante Wong suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The agency's detectives determined the incident was not random and the suspects were known to Wong, the news release said. Based on witness statements and digital evidence, investigators identified Bennette and Voltaire as the suspects. Detectives learned the pair visited the victim's residence under the pretense of helping clean, the agency said. Once inside the house they attempted to steal firearms. During the confrontation, Voltaire shot Wong before fleeing with Bennette in a white Chevrolet Camaro. An alert was issued for the car which resulted in the traffic stop and arrests. One dead after fiery motorcycle crash in Independence
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person is dead after a person driving a motorcycle crashed into a parked car in Independence. According to the Independence Police Department, around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, a person driving a Harley Davidson motorcycle crashed into a parked Kia Soul. Police said both vehicles became engulfed in flames after the crash. The driver of the motorcycle died in the crash. IPD said he did not appear to be wearing a helmet. The Kia was unoccupied.
