Djeidi Gassama will get Rangers fans on the edge of their seats
Gassama, 21, made one appearance for the French side alongside Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe before joining Wednesday in 2023 and scored 12 goals in 84 games for the Owls.
The France Under-20 international has now moved to Glasgow for an undisclosed fee, understood to be about £2.2million.

Martin told Rangers' website: 'We are very excited to bring Djeidi to the club. He is certainly an exciting player who will get supporters on the edge of their seats and I believe he will add an extra dimension to our attack with his qualities.
'He is hungry to improve as a player and, most importantly, is desperate to pull on the Rangers jersey and help deliver success to the club.'
Gassama added: 'I am very excited to start with my new club, it is a club with a lot of history and I am very happy. This is a big club, and I need that for my next level and I think it can help me progress.'
Gassama had the best of tuition as an up-and-coming player.
He trained at PSG alongside world superstars Messi, Mbappe and Neymar and he believes that has stood him in good stead for his football journey, which continues in Glasgow.
He said: 'I started playing when I was young and then I played for the under-19's at PSG and made my debut.
'It was crazy to be in a team with players like Messi, Mbappe, Neymar.
'It was a good experience for me to train with them, I learned a lot of things about the gym, what they do on and off the pitch.
'They give 100 per cent and when you see them, you have to do the same and even the training with them is like a game.
'The last two years moving to Sheffield, they gave me a good progression and a good experience in English football.
'I took my chance and now I am here and I think I can continue to improve here.'

The striker left Parkhead in January in a £10million switch to Rennes, but his stint in Ligue 1 was a disaster with Kyogo spending most of his time either on the bench or not in the squad before cutting his losses and joining Blues for the same fee this summer. Chris Davies' ambitious side won the League One title at a canter last year and have been backed by many to push for Premier League promotion given the financial backing in place from their American owners SCL, who include NFK legend Tom Brady. Goodman reckons Kyogo is a smart buy by Birmingham, but dismissively claimed that scoring was a simple task when playing for the Scottish Premiership champions, insisting that the goals won't come as easily in the English Championship. The former Motherwell star's comments come just days after he told new Rangers signing Thelo Aasgaard that his switch from Luton Town to Ibrox wasn't a step up, and his latest take is unlikely to win him any friends north of the border either. "Kyogo Furuhashi is an excellent signing," Goodman told talkSPORTBET. "He's an excellent player. There's no doubt about that. He's going to be a handful that could really hurt Championship defences, but he can't win promotion on his own. He's going to need all the other areas of the team to function really and to provide him with opportunities. 'I've already alluded to the SPFL. When you play for Celtic in the SPFL, invariably you dominate games, you're going to be winning games, getting chances and in most of the games you can have it relatively easy. 'That won't be the case for him at Birmingham so they'll have to work at it but they have recruited a really really good player and a player with a work ethic that the fans will love. Liverpool open talks to sign Hugo Ekitike after Alexander Isak transfer response
Liverpool are still hopeful of making a new attacking signing despite already spending more than £170m and want Alexander Isak from Newcastle, but the Magpies are reluctant to lose their star man Liverpool have approached Eintracht Frankfurt over signing Hugo Ekitike as an alternative if they can't land Newcastle forward Alexander Isak. The Reds have already had a busy transfer window so far after bringing in full-backs Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez, plus highly-rated playmaker Florian Wirtz for £116.5million. But Arne Slot's side aren't finished there and want a new striker to be brought in to play with the likes of Mohamed Salah, challenging Luis Diaz for a place up front. Isak appears to be Liverpool's No.1 target this summer but a deal looks difficult to get done, with Newcastle set to demand more than £125m for their star man - so they are now said to be looking at Ekitike as a back-up option. According to the Athletic, Liverpool have made contact with Frankfurt, but it won't be simple for the Reds to get the Frenchman either. Interestingly enough, Newcastle are also chasing Ekitike and have already had a £70m bid for the striker turned down by Frankfurt, who are said to want £85m. The Magpies want the hitman to play alongside Isak - having failed to snap him up in 2022. At that point he opted to join PSG, but struggled to get game time for the French club as he scored a total of just four goals in the 2022-23 season. After being loaned to Frankfurt in 2024, his move was eventually turned permanent and he managed to smash in 22 goals from 48 appearances in all competitions last season. It comes at a time where Liverpool are dealing with possible outgoings. Darwin Nunez has been strongly linked with an exit after links to Napoli. There have also been reports AC Milan have launched a £52m bid for the Uruguayan, who struggled for game time under Slot last season. Liverpool have also had to fend off interest in Luis Diaz from Bayern Munich. The German club had a £58.6m bid rejected for the Colombian forward, with Liverpool insisting the player was not for sale. Liverpool value the player closer to £87m after he helped the Reds win the title last season with 17 goals.
