Thousands descend on the spectacular Lough Key for Night and Day festival
Unlike her idol Rory Gallagher's song of the same name, the singer and guitarist with French indie-rock band Frank was enjoying the reaction and tidal wave of support she received within minutes of taking to the stage on the shores of Lough Key, near Boyle in Co. Roscommon.

'The crowd were really warm. People reacted very strongly. For me, it's a question of sharing, and if you give, then the crowd give it back.
'I was surprised. I'm always amazed with the crowds in Ireland. They are always so warm. It was my first time at Night And Day. I would love to come back,' she said.
Up to 5,000 festival fans will descend on the scenic venue over the two-day festival.
Élise, who now divides her time between Ireland and France, added: 'I came to Ireland for the first time after Covid. I think it was 2023, and now I spend half my time living in Ireland and half my time living in France.

Élise was joined by legendary Irish band The Stunning and their contemporaries, Something Happens and The Sultans Of Ping, as well as Swedish star José González, during the first day of the weekend festival yesterday.
She added: 'I'm looking forward to seeing José González and Paul Brady. I have never seen them. It will be my first time and I am really looking forward to it.'
Among the music fans who camped out on the sprawling grounds of the stunning lakeshore estate over the weekend were Mark Reed and his partner Breege Kilcullen.
They travelled from their home county of Mayo so they could see KT Tunstall for the first time ever. The Scottish star is set to close the annual music festival later this evening.
Other acts due to perform today include Meath singer Lisa Hannigan, Jamaican reggae stars The Wailers, Bray's Fionn Regan and Limerick band Hermitage Green. Breege told Extra.ie: 'We're fans of Lisa Hannigan and KT Tunstall. This is our first time here, and it will be our first time to see her live.
'We are staying in a camper van. It's lovely and it's so peaceful and quiet. The weather is good. This is a hidden part of the country, and it's beautiful here. It's perfect.'
Mark added: 'It's our first time here. We have no complaints whatsoever. It's very chilled, very relaxed, and enjoyable. It's perfect for us.'

Rock n' Roll has officially started in Dublin as Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher has just left his hotel and has made his way to Croke Park ahead of tonight's first of back-to-back Irish gigs, can exclusively reveal. Manchester musician Noel, was flying solo as he departed five star Carton House Country Manor Hotel in Maynooth this afternoon. Dressed in his trademark casual garb, Noel was wearing a bright blue windbreaker, over a plain white teeshirt, dark grey skinny jeans, white trainers and a pair of blue shell sunnies. A chirpy Noel smiled and waved to the delight of Carton House staff, who escorted him to his waiting Ranger Rover and waved him off, as he made his way to Dublin City Centre. Pic: Michael Chester/@chesterpix And despite being a globally feted superstar Noel was decidedly down-to-earth as he hopped into a waiting blacked out Range Rover with just one driver as the pair zoomed out of the grounds of Carton House to make their way to Dublin City Centre: Over on the very far side of the capital, Noel's singer brother Liam, is still kicking back at the swanky Powerscourt Hotel and has not, as yet, departed the hotel for Croke Park. So with Noel on route and Liam not far behind him, Oasis mania has reached boiling point around Croke park and in Dublin City Centre, with fans of the band breaking out into impromptu renditions of the groups greatest hits, in beer gardens and boozers around town. Oasis are set to take to the stage in Croke Park tonight at 8.15 with the concert coming to an end at 10.45. As Oasis famously sang,'So Sally Can Wait' – Noel, in particular, is ensuring that fans won't be waiting much longer. Oasis brothers Noel and Liam staying in separate hotels during Croke Park weekend
Oasis brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, who are due to take to the stage at Croke Park in a few mere hours, for the first of their two Irish sold-out gigs have checked into separate hotels at opposite ends of the city, can reveal. As Oasis mania grips the capital, the Gallagher brothers are currently hanging out at their respective hotels before they prepare to depart to the stadium for tonight's gig. Noel checked into Maynooth's Carton House, while Liam is staying at the super luxurious Powerscourt Hotel in Wicklow. The extensive Oasis entourage officially touched down in Dublin on Wednesday evening, as they travelled over from the U.K in a fleet of UK-registered blacked-out Mercedes G Wagons with a significant security detail. Musical siblings Liam and Noel, who have only recently reconciled after a bitter years-long feud, have obviously decided that sleeping under the same roof is perhaps a step too far. 'Liam is staying at one hotel with half the band, and Noel is staying at a completely different hotel with the other half.'
