Bill Belichick's girlfriend Jordon Hudson, 24, is going viral after temporarily pausing a CBS interview over a question she didn't want answered.
The former New England Patriots coach, 73, sat down with Tony Dokoupil on CBS News' Sunday Morning to promote his new biography, The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football, when he was asked about how he and Hudson met.
Newsweek reached out to Hudson, who is listed as Belichick's personal assistant, via email for comment.
The Context
Sunday Morning is a talk show hosted by Jane Pauley that recaps the day's news, before often transitioning to feel-good pieces on performing arts, pop culture and more. The program began in 1979.
Belichick led the Patriots to six Super Bowl victories with Tom Brady as quarterback during his 24 seasons with the NFL team. In December, he was announced as the head football coach at the University of North Carolina (UNC).
"This is an exciting day for Carolina football and our university,'' Chancellor Lee H. Roberts said at the time, per Belichick's bio on UNC's official athletics website. "Carolina is committed to excellence and to creating an opportunity to succeed in everything we do, from the classroom to the field of competition. I know after speaking with Coach Belichick that he shares that commitment. His legacy speaks for itself, and we look forward to working together on the next chapter of Carolina football."
Belichick and Hudson first sparked relationship rumors in 2023 when they were spotted together on several occasions. TMZ was first to report they were dating in June 2024 following his split from Lindsay Holliday, his wife of 16 years. The couple has a 48-year age gap, which has raised eyebrows and drawn criticism.

What To Know
Hudson accompanied Belichick to the Sunday Morning interview and spoke on his behalf when Dokoupil asked, "How did you guys meet?"
"We're not talking about this," Hudson said.
"No?" Dokoupil asked.
"No," she confirmed.
On the program, Dokoupil said, "Jordon was a constant presence during our interview" and noted "neither one of them" was "comfortable" discussing the topic.
Dokoupil added that "everybody in the world seems to be following this relationship," despite it having "nothing to do with them" and asked Belichick how he deals with that.
"I've never been too worried about what everybody else thinks," the author said. "Just try to do what I feel like is best for me and what's right."
Collin Rugg, co-owner of the conservative news site Trending Politics, took to X, formerly Twitter, to share a clip of the moment.
"Bill Belichick's 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson interjects & shuts down a question during the middle of an interview on CBS," Rugg wrote. "This is wild."
At the time of publication, the post racked up more than 4.7 million views.

In February, Hudson appeared to defend her romance with the NFL legend in a lengthy message shared to Instagram.
"'What constitutes love?' or 'what makes someone worthy of loving?' are questions that require a deep analysis and could possibly enable one to understand the romances that they may not understand nor relate to," she wrote on Valentine's Day. "With such a limited character count, I cannot dissect nor comprehensively answer these questions, but I will exclaim a few basic concepts."
"We do not need to justify 'why' we love a particular person," the former cheerleader said, adding, "Love does not discriminate against sex, skin-color, religion, age, or ability."
It was recently revealed that Hudson is copied in on Belichick's UNC emails. Because the university is public, his communications are public records.
Earlier this month, Matt Baker of TheAthletic.com "obtained emails sent and received by Hudson," NBC Sports reported.
Baker found that Hudson is listed as the chief operating officer of Belichick Productions in her signature. There was also an email exchange with her and Belichick about backlash they received over the ager gap on the UNC Football page, with Belichick saying, "I cannot believe that UNC would support my being called a 'predator.'" In a separate email, Hudson defended his son, Steve Belichick—who is UNC's defensive coordinator—against nepotism concerns.
What People Are Saying
Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy wrote on X of the Sunday Morning interview: "My Sunday morning routine is always coffee and CBS Sunday Morning. It's a feel good show. The opposite of controversial. So image my surprise this morning when they had the most awkward Bill Belichick interview I've ever seen. Like I was squirming in my seat." His remark garnered 7.7 million views.
English broadcaster Piers Morgan reposted Portnoy's note via X and said: "It was utterly excruciating. Mr Belichick needs a family or friend intervention asap." His note had an additional one million views.

Adam Scott's Strange Practice Routine Unveiled amid US Open Run
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Saturday was moving day at the U.S. Open, and Adam Scott took full advantage. The 44-year-old Australian surged up the leaderboard, firing a 3-under 67 at Oakmont Country Club. Currently, he sits just one shot behind leader Sam Burns, heading into the weekend round. It was a vintage performance from Scott, who has somehow only one major championship to his name despite his immense talent. His round started with a bogey on the first hole, but he quickly rebounded, collecting four birdies, including a clutch stretch on 13, 14, and 17. His composed play has put him in the final pairing on Sunday, where he'll battle Burns, who is chasing his first major title. Jason Day, currently sitting T21 at 5-over, spotted Scott's unusual practice routine and couldn't help but share it. "Okay, next time you see Adam on the range, watch him," Day told Dan Rapaport from Scratch. "He goes like this," Day said, imitating Scott's swing move, "and then he... Behind the back? Every single shot." Did you know Adam Scott had this practice habit? 🤔 He's T-2 heading into the final round of the U.S. Open. — Skratch (@Skratch) June 14, 2025 Rapaport, intrigued, asked if Scott had been doing this since childhood. "I don't know, I don't know... I asked him that one time and he's like he didn't even know he was doing it," Day replied. Scott's quirky swing habit isn't the first of its kind. Jim Furyk, known for his looping, unconventional swing, has built a career around his unique mechanics. Matthew Wolff, another player with an unorthodox takeaway, has also drawn attention for his distinctive motion. But no doubt, Adam Scott's swing was the coolest! If Scott wins at Oakmont, he'll set a new record for the longest gap between first and second major wins—12 years since his 2013 Masters victory, where he defeated Ángel Cabrera in a playoff. Scott spoke about his determination to chase another major, calling his approach "old man's golf" but emphasizing his passion for competing at the highest level. "It would be super fulfilling," Scott said of a potential second major. "Everyone out here has got their journey, you know. Putting ourselves in these positions doesn't just happen by fluke. It's not easy to do it. I really haven't been in this kind of position for five or six years, or feeling like I'm that player. But that's what I'm always working towards. It's not that easy to figure it all out." Now, with one round to go, Scott has a chance to rewrite history. He'll tee off in the final pairing on Sunday, looking to add a U.S. Open trophy to his resume and prove that experience still matters in golf's toughest test. Mom Films Toddler Watching 'Ms Rachel', Captures Milestone Moment Instead
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A couple filming their son accidentally captured his first unaided steps on video, as he became distracted by the TV. Lianne, 42, lives in Buckinghamshire UK with her wife, Jordan, and their 15-month-old son, Grayson, who has recently learned to walk on his own. And, by pure accident, the couple captured his first unaided steps on camera—because he was distracted by the global YouTube phenomenon Ms Rachel, beloved by babies, toddlers and many parents worldwide. As Lianne explained to Newsweek: "We were doing a video to capture Grayson's progress from crawling, to walking with a walker, to walking," which is a popular trend on social media, as parents create video montages of their babies growing up. "As we were filming the 'walking with a walker' video, he decided to take his first steps into our living room where Ms Rachel was on the TV!" Lianne shared the adorable moment to her TikTok account @liannel2810 on June 8, captioning it: "When Miss Rachel [sic] ruins your crawling to walking baby video," along with a laughing emoji. Grayson uses a walking toy to move down the hall, but gets distracted by the TV. Grayson uses a walking toy to move down the hall, but gets distracted by the TV. TikTok @liannel2810 And in words over the video itself, she added: "When your toddler gets distracted by Miss Rachel [sic] whilst doing the crawling to walking trend and takes their actual unaided first steps." It shows Grayson using a wooden toy walker, slowly making his way down the hall as viewed from a camera set up in the family's sitting room. But as Grayson uses the walker to continue down the hall, he looks into the room and then stops, as he's recognized the educational YouTuber on the TV screen. The baby then casually lets go of the walker—and walks, barely wobbling, into the room to get a better view—and Lianne and Jordan can be heard bursting into laughter as they witness, and record, their son's first steps. Lianne, who gave her first name only, told Newsweek: "We were both shocked, as prior to this he would only walk with us holding his hands or using his walker." And it appears Grayson isn't the only one whose first steps were towards Ms Rachel, as commenters flocked to the video, viewed more than 83,000 times, to share their own stories. Grayson stops to watch Ms Rachel, then walks unaided for the first time to get a better look. Grayson stops to watch Ms Rachel, then walks unaided for the first time to get a better look. TikTok @liannel2810 "Love this, I defo [co] parent with Miss Rachel [sic]," one user wrote, as another admitted: "My little boy did his first unaided steps to walk to the TV where Ms Rachel was on." Another joked Grayson had "definitely been having a sneaky run round when you [have] not been looking." On average, babies take their first unaided steps around 14 months old, and may indicate they're ready to begin walking independently after learning to do so while holding a parent's hand or furniture for balance, according to a medically-reviewed report from What to Expect. Lianne said: "We are always super proud of all Grayson's achievements and milestones so it was really lovely to see—but also really funny. "It's almost like he was thinking, 'why am I in the hallway when Ms Rachel's on?'" Do you have funny and adorable videos or pictures you want to share? PFF ranks Broncos' Brandon Jones among NFL's top 10 safeties
Zoltan Buday of Pro Football Focus recently compiled a list of the top 32 safeties in the NFL heading into the 2025 season. Denver Broncos safety Brandon Jones -- who had a solid season in 2024 with 115 tackles, three interceptions, and ten pass deflections -- made the cut. Buday ranked Jones in the top 10. 'Durability was an issue for Jones during his years with the Dolphins, but while he never topped 650 snaps with Miami, he logged 1,042 snaps in his first season with the Broncos," Buday wrote on PFF. "He further elevated his play, too, especially in coverage. He earned an 89.8 PFF coverage grade, which ranked third among safeties, similar to his 84.8 PFF overall grade.' While Jones didn't nab a Pro Bowl or All-Pro last fall, his play helped boost the Broncos back to the playoffs for the first time since their Super Bowl season in 2015. Jones will look to build off of a great 2024 season going into 2025. Related: These 25 celebrities are Broncos fans.
