They were travelling around Bali, Indonesia, but decided they needed a touch of luxury along the way - so booked this modern, white-walled haven.
Upon arrival at 6am, the women immediately ditched their clothes and threw themselves into the water to cool off.
Believing themselves completely alone, the pair were stunned when a man emerged from his room to see what was going on.
The villa turned out not to be private at all.
Amusing footage shows the women splashing and swimming in the rectangular pool, making the most of their retreat.
Suddenly, Bella spots the onlooker off camera and shrieks to alert Karina.
The pair sheepishly wave at their unexpected guest as he hangs around to make small talk.
A male voice can be heard saying: "You woke me up, where are you from?"
They answer "Australia", before waiting for him to leave.
They climb out of the water after he has retreated and hastily pull on their towels.

The travellers shared their hilarious slip-up on TikTok, where the video has amassed 20million views.
Karina said: 'We were expecting a private villa, not a shared one.
"We wanted a swim in the pool after a hot travel day.
"Then we jumped in, and a man came out of his room.
'We were shocked and surprised, but we then looked online and realised it wasn't advertised as shared or private.'
The clip is captioned: "POV: we thought we booked a private villa but when we arrived at 6am we soon realised..."

Karina, a photographer, and Bella, a business owner, from Australia, added: 'We are young and adapted to the setting fast for our safety.
'But to other travellers, check the room option photos and details.
'Not just the overall accommodation, as you never know what room you could get.'
The clip has gathered 1.7 million likes and over 700 comments from users on TikTok.
One person said: 'Omggg HAHAH are you guys skinny dipping.'

Lewis Capaldi's hilarious reaction to Ed Sheeran's surprise phone call as fans gush over 'bromance'

Lewis Capaldi fans are delighted to have been given an update on the Scots star after his pal Ed Sheeran gave him a surprise goodnight phone call and filmed it live on TikTok. Lewis Capaldi and Ed Sheeran have once again demonstrated their close 'bromance' in a hilarious goodnight call video which has left fans of the music duo in stitches. Taking to TikTok earlier this week, Sheeran uploaded an amusing video to the streaming platform of him phoning 'his one and only to wish him a goodnight' on his tablet. The video was uploaded in the midst of a viral TikTok 'positive masculinity' trend where men have been filming themselves making surprise phone calls to their mates before bedtime to say goodnight and tell them they love them. Capaldi, 28, can be heard answering the call as Sheeran tells him: "Hello mate. I'm just calling to wish you goodnight. ‌ Without even questioning the situation, Lewis replies: "Hey baby. Goodnight my guy. Goodnight my special guy." The Bad Habits hitmaker asks him: "What are you doing?" as the Scots singer responds: "I'm kinda just chilling on my couch right now. Feeling pretty mellow." ‌ Sheeran can be seen stifling a laugh on the camera as he continues: "And what are you wearing?" ‌ The Someone You Loved singer replies in true Capaldi fashion: "Just the usual, got my little boccies (boxers) on. You know, just hanging out, relaxing." Ed, 34, says: "Well I just want to let you know that you're loved and cared for" as Lewis says back to him: "I'll think about you when I go to sleep tonight." ‌ Sheeran adds: "I'll think about you right now just before I go to sleep and whilst I'm asleep." Lewis signs off as he says: "Nice one bro. Love you" leaving his pal Ed laughing as he ends the call with: "Love you my love. Hang loose." The video, which was uploaded to Ed Sheeran's official TikTok account, has racked in 1.5m likes with amused fans racing to the comment section. ‌ One wrote: "Lewis so unfazed by this I am 100% convinced you do this every night." Another fan exclaimed: "The bromance between ed sheeran and lewis capaldi never dies." ‌ A third joked: "Are we interrupting?" while a fourth commented: "Lewis reacted as if this was a part of his bedtime routine #positivemasculinity" The video comes just days after the duo were recently spotted at the Premier League game between Ipswich Town and West Ham on Sunday, May 25. Capaldi, who has been keeping a low profile since he announced he was taking a break from the limelight in 2023, was seen laughing and joking with Ed in the stands of the game. ‌ The Someone You Loved hitmaker said he was taking a break from music following his Glastonbury performance almost two years ago, where he was seen visibly struggling with Tourette's syndrome, which he was diagnosed with in September 2022. However, he is rumoured to be back in the studio making music and is thought to be making a comeback soon. Loyal fans in the comment section of Ed's Tiktok begged the Scots singer to return soon as one wrote: "We miss Lewis Capaldi", with a series of crying faces. Another echoed: "A Lewis Capaldi update. Tell him we miss him SOOOO MUCH!", accompanied by more sad face emojis. A third wrote: "Thank you for letting us know our Lewis is ok! We love you both!"

Originally from Derbyshire, Harriet made an immediate impact at Clarkson's Oxfordshire farmstead by tidying up, fixing broken machinery, and even grooming Clarkson's unruly eyebrows – all documented on her TikTok account. Her heartfelt message struck a chord: "Please can everyone remember to be kind we are all human and your words matter." Since finishing her time on Clarkson's Farm, Harriet has jetted off with her friends to Spain to enjoy a break in the sunshine. She ditched the wellies, grabbed a bucket hat and a blue bikini, and spent some much-needed time away from the farm relaxing poolside - and shared a few snaps from her time away. Clarkson's Farm finale for season 4, featuring episodes Hurrying and Landlording, is set to broadcast on Friday, June 6. Although slated for a fifth series, Jeremy has announced they'll be taking a breather after season 5 concludes their five-year relentless run of filming on the farm.

Moment King's Guard horse gives girl a 'kiss' after she makes sweet gesture

In the viral TikTok clip, the 'respectful' young girl is greeted with a sweet 'kiss' by a King's Guards horse outside St James' Palace in response to her kind gesture Sweet new footage shows the moment a horse from the King's Guard gives a girl a 'kiss' in reward for her kind gesture. In the viral clip, filmed outside St James' Palace, the youngster can be seen patiently approaching the King's Guard and his horse, with her mother close stood close behind her. Then, she leans over to the guard and places small amount of cash inside his boot, before returning to stand beside the post. A couple of seconds later, the horse moves turns towards the girl and gently presses its muzzle on top of her head - leaving her beaming with joy. ‌ ‌ After the video of the heartwarming interaction was posted on the TikTok fan channel royalguards_england21, many joked that the horse appeared to be 'thanking' the little girl for her small donation. One wrote: "The horse gave her a kiss!" Another commented: "And this is how you respectfully approach the guardsmen and horses." ‌ Someone else said "she's more respectful than most adults there", while a different user commented: "This is how it should be done - ask first then show complete respect. Well done young lady." Though the practice is not encouraged by Palace staff, with signs warning that it is dangerous to get too close to the horses, some tourists choose to leave pound notes inside the boots of mounted King's Guards as a thank-you gesture. Any cash left is collected for military charities. ‌ In March, charming footage showed the moment a King's Guard broke protocol to interact with a young blind boy. In a video, eight-year-old Amin is seen walking over to the foot guard while guided by a voice off-camera, and stamps his foot to salute the guard. In response the soldier - who is wearing his customary helmet - salutes the youngster back by stamping his foot. And in July 2023, a King's Guard was praised for posing with a man with Down's syndrome in another unusual breach of protocol. Mike van Erp, also known as YouTuber Cycling Mikey, said he had taken the youngster to get a photo at Buckingham Palace and had tried to stand close to the Guard - something which can sometimes see visitors given a stern telling-off Instead, the Guard moved nearer to the pair so they could get a better picture of the day at the Horse Guards Parade. As he walked away, Mike said: "What a nice man. What a cool thing to do."
