Under Armour's UA Halo Collection Highlights the Speed in Us All
The 'I Run, But I'm Not a Runner' campaign enlisted dedicated individuals who share a passion for running, but are not all professional or habitual runners. Photographer Kyle Flores often runs to get the perfect shot, while Hideout Coffee Bar cofounder Asmine says, 'I run the coffee bar, not marathons. Running is not my favourite thing to do, but I do it as part of my training.' The sports lifestyle brand highlights the UA Halo throughout this campaign, a running shoe that's as stylish and fresh as it is comfortable. It comes in a few different colorways: white, red, all-black and a striking red and black.
The shoe is available in three versions: the racer, runner and trainer, and is crafted using HOVR+ cushioning foam so you can build momentum and speed as you move towards the finish line. Symmetry and balance characterize the line, so each Halo offering is meant to keep you equally light on your feet while also providing reinforcement. A midsole cradle with ample give helps you maintain balance and reach new heights with every step. Other tech aspects include a TPU spring plate for additional support and impact absorption, and a durable rubber outsole for traction and rebound on both smooth and rougher road surfaces.
Whether you're a daily runner setting out to shatter your own records or a business owner or creative, like those featured in the campaign, the UA Halo Racer helps you move towards your goals fiercely.

‘Fortnite' Chapter 6, Season 4 Trailer Reveals Power Rangers, Megazord
In Fortnite's eternal quest to continue smacking action figures together, we're starting to get official previews of the upcoming Chapter 6, Season 4, which we now know is called 'Shock and Awesome' and features a map-wide bug invasion. After a recent reveal that female Halo Spartans are coming to the game, a first since Master Chief showed up in 2020, new promos, including a new trailer, have started that feature another franchise, Power Rangers. Because why not? The new key art, seen above, shows off Tommy Oliver's Green Ranger, along with what appears to be a giant Megazord looming behind everything. That's supposed to be something that launches later in the season on September 16. In mid-August, there will be a 'Mighty Morphin'' bundle featuring the Red, Black, Pink, Yellow and Blue rangers. Curious how much that will be, or if those are being treated like alt styles for one skin. I think I probably know the answer to that. Here's a new trailer for all this: FEATURED | Frase ByForbes™ Unscramble The Anagram To Reveal The Phrase Pinpoint By Linkedin Guess The Category Queens By Linkedin Crown Each Region Crossclimb By Linkedin Unlock A Trivia Ladder So far as we know, the Halo Spartan will be the Tier 1 battle pass skin, and then Green Ranger will be in the battle pass as well, likely near or at the top, as tends to happen with crossovers. You have absolutely no idea how many Power Rangers movies and shows there have been over the years. I'm old enough to have watched the original, but this series never, ever went away. We are at thirty different Power Rangers projects since 1994 which include the likes of: Zeo, Turbo, Space, Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue, Time Force, Wild Force, Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder, SPD, Mystic Force, Jungle Fury, RPM, Super Samurai, Megaforce, Super Megaforce, Dino Charge, Dino Super Charge, Ninja Steel, Super Ninja Steel, Beast Morphers, Dino Fury, and finally, 2023's Cosmic Fury. Are they done? Almost certainly not. Dino Fury and Cosmic Fury are both on Netflix, which has taken over the Power Rangers mantle, so no doubt things will continue from here. But for Fortnite, these are the unsurpassed OGs. Of course, Halo and Power Rangers are not the only things in this season. There are a number of original Fortnite skins and new additions to the game like a triple barrel gatling gun that looks ridiculous. Ridiculously fun, I suppose. ‘Fortnite' Reveals Chapter 6, Season 4 Name, Concept And ‘Halo' Connection
Fortnite has done yet another video game crossover, a move that is hardly news in this day and age, but in this case, it's a bit interesting. The game has announced it's adding Spartans, specifically female Spartans from Halo, five years after adding Master Chief himself to the game back in 2020. I find it at least mildly amusing that to fully get players to understand that these were female Spartans they had to show them off from a…certain angle, which certainly makes that clear. We see two different colors, indicating customization, though I'm not sure if that applies to specific armor pieces as well. There is not a corresponding set of generic male Spartan skins in the game, just Chief. This also came with the name of season 4, "Shock 'N Awesome," and the description: "Investigate the start of the bug invasion, and ready up for the fight against the insect adversaries on August 7!" With these Spartans comings, in terms of properties Microsoft owns that have shown up in Fortnite we have: In another life I would imagine that we might have seen a Joanna Dark skin if that game wasn't just summarily executed recently. We didn't get anything out of Bethesda's big Starfield release, either. FEATURED | Frase ByForbes™ Unscramble The Anagram To Reveal The Phrase Pinpoint By Linkedin Guess The Category Queens By Linkedin Crown Each Region Crossclimb By Linkedin Unlock A Trivia Ladder It remains bizarre that new Halo news these days has to come from Fortnite, and previously any Halo headline was about the very bad live-action TV show. While Halo Infinite multiplayer has dramatically improved in time, it's not exactly top of mind in the PvP space and we have not seen anything at all from Master Chief after the initial Infinite campaign in 2020. Only lately have we started to hear rumblings from Microsoft that they may start talking about the future of Halo soon, but we have updates on quite literally almost all their other big franchises at this point other than what was supposed to be their biggest. But that's not true any longer. Other bits of rumors attached the release of these female Spartan skins are that they will have a red/blue energy sword pickaxe. Halo is a big part of the season 4 battle pass, and will be involved in the upcoming 'invasion' storyline that may involve giant bugs. These female Spartan skins may be rank 1 on the pass. More info is coming out as we speak, so stay tuned for updates on that front. Follow me on Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram. Pick up my sci-fi novels the Herokiller series and The Earthborn Trilogy.

8BitDo Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard (Xbox Licensed Edition) Hits All-Time Low, Even Less Than Prime Day
When it comes to nostalgia tech, there is simply no one doing it better than 8BitDo. This mechanical keyboard highlights that tremendously. It's based on not just any Xbox. This translucent green shell specifically evokes the limited edition Xbox original console which released bundled with Halo: Combat Evolved. I just had the standard Xbox growing up, but my friend Adam had the Halo-edition one and, man, was that thing a beaut. See at Amazon This Xbox-inspired mechanical keyboard from 8BitDo, normally priced at $120, is seeing a rare discount right now at Amazon. The 19% savings chops the price down by $22. That results in a new price of just $98 which happens to be the 8BitDo Retro keyboard's lowest price ever. This 87-key mechanical keyboard is compatible with Windows 10 and up as well as Android 9 and up which means it can even be hooked up to your phone to play games on. It has several options to choose from for how you connect to your PC or other device. Either go wired or connect over 2.4G wireless or via Bluetooth. The USB receiver can be stored easily in a magnetic compartment when not in use so it doesn't get misplaced. While the majority of the keyboard is in its translucent Halo-green shell, the up, down, left, and right arrow keys each get a unique yellow, green, blue, and red color scheme. These emulate how the Y, A, X, and B buttons looked on the first Xbox controllers. Additionally, The keyboard is backlit with eight different light modes you can swap between. The integrated Xbox button will activate the Windows Game Bar when used on a Windows device, just like if you press the Xbox button on an Xbox controller plugged into your PC. A small detail I really love is the littles knobs in the top left corner which can be used to control things like volume and Bluetooth settings. My laptop's keyboard I'm using right now requires me to hold down FN to adjust volume settings and I hate it. This keyboard doesn't feature a number pad, which does cut down on the space it takes up on your desk. It does, however, include two huge programmable Super Buttons. The functions of these can be customized without the need to download any extra software. For a limited time, you can score this Xbox-inspired 8BitDo retro mechanical keyboard for a steep $22 discount. That knocks the price down from $120 to just $98. See at Amazon
