Murder investigation launched after woman dies
Thames Valley Police said it was called to Rochford Gardens in Slough, Berkshire, just before 15:00 GMT on 14 February and found a woman in a life-threatening condition.
Brigitta Rasuli, 53, was taken to hospital but she died on Saturday 1 March.
A 57-year-old man, Samir Rasuli, was previously charged with attempted murder and was remanded in custody to appear at Reading Crown Court on 17 March.
Senior investigating officer, Det Ch Insp Laura Corscadden of the Major Crime Unit, said: "My thoughts are with the victim's family at this extremely difficult time."

Building sites in quaint Oxfordshire village 'targeted' by men in balaclavas
Men in balaclavas have reportedly stolen tools from building sites in a quaint Oxfordshire village. Thames Valley Police has reported that in the early hours today (Tuesday, August 19), at least three men with balaclavas were seen 'acting suspiciously' around Fifield village, near Burford. in particular they were said to be looking at properties being built or renovated with tools taken from several sites and a van broken into. Tools were stolen from the van as well. READ MORE: A spokesperson for police said: 'We want to make you aware that in the early hours of this morning, there were at least three males wearing balaclavas seen acting suspiciously in the Fifield area. 'They appeared to be looking at various properties before targeting those currently being built or renovated. The spokesperson added that they 'strongly encourage' residents to 'take extra precautions to secure their properties'. Among the actions a resident can take are to install a monitored burglar alarm and use hardwired CCTV systems with good night vision. Police also advise that all tools and equipment are locked inside storage units and marked using Selecta DNA or by engraving a postcode. Vans should be locked; proper fencing and lighting should be in place around renovation sites; and any unusual activity should be reported. Police added: 'We appreciate your vigilance and cooperation. By working together and taking preventative steps, we can help protect our community.'

Police investigating assault on member of the public near village shop
Police are investigating a reported assault on a member of the public near a convenience shop in a village. Thames Valley Police said a member of the public was reportedly pulled by an offender on Kidlington High Street near the Co-op on Monday (August 18) at about 8.30pm. There were no injuries and no arrests have been made. Street taped off by police after taxi crashes into house
Police have taped off a street in Oxfordshire after a taxi crashed into a house. The incident occurred at some point between last night (Sunday, August 17) and this morning (Monday, August 18) on Woodgreen Avenue in Banbury. Police tape is currently cordoning off the residential road, with the public having been warned to "avoid the area" by officers.
