Cairo Capital Developments has announced the completion of the 1st phase of its Lake West 1 project—one of the company's flagship residential developments in Sheikh Zayed City. This milestone underscores the company's strong commitment to delivering quality and upholding the highest standards for its clients.
Yasser Khalaf, Chairman of Cairo Capital Developments, stated that the successful handover of 1st phase, which received high praise from clients, reflects the company's dedication to meeting delivery deadlines and providing top-tier quality.
He noted that the Lake West project is strategically located on Waslet Dahshour and covers an area of 43 feddans. The development offers a wide range of services and is being executed through self-financing. It comprises two phases, with the first already delivered, and the second currently underway and scheduled for handover within two months.
This upcoming phase includes 123 villas and is being implemented by Cairo Capital Contracting—a sister company with over 30 years of experience in the Saudi market. The firm holds a Grade A classification, underscoring its strong track record, operational scale, and technical expertise, Khalaf added.
He added that 96 villas have already been delivered and are now occupied by residents, pointed out that the company is working at full capacity to complete the second phase soon, maintaining the highest standards of quality. As the largest project on the Dahshour Link Road, spanning over 43 feddans, Lake West is positioned to become a model residential community in this prime location.
He said, 'Commitment goes beyond just meeting delivery deadlines — it extends to precision in details, high-quality finishes, and providing a fully integrated and secure residential environment. These elements are the cornerstone of any successful and sustainable real estate project.'
He concluded that the company is currently working on four projects simultaneously in Sheikh Zayed city, as part of an ambitious expansion plan aimed at strengthening its presence in one of the most attractive real estate investment areas in West Cairo. These projects are diverse in nature, designed to meet various needs and cater to a wide range of customers.

Syria, Saudi Arabia Seal $6 Billion Investment Deal

Israa Farhan Syria and Saudi Arabia have reached a landmark economic agreement to sign 44 investment deals valued at $6 billion, signaling a major step in rebuilding and strengthening bilateral ties across multiple sectors. The announcement was made by Syrian Information Minister Hamza al-Mustafa during a press conference in Damascus on Wednesday, coinciding with the Syrian-Saudi Investment Forum. The new agreements span a wide range of industries, including energy, technology, media, and communications. Minister al-Mustafa highlighted that the initiatives are expected to generate over 50,000 jobs across the country, contributing significantly to Syria's economic recovery. The minister underscored the importance of attracting private capital, particularly in the energy sector, and noted that discussions with Saudi investors also touched on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and digital infrastructure. This wave of investment follows sweeping political changes in Syria. On 8 December 2024, Damascus fell to the armed opposition, prompting President Bashar al-Assad to resign and leave the country. Saudi announces $5 billion in Syria investments - Region

A Saudi delegation visiting Damascus on Wednesday inked investment and partnership deals valued at $5 billion to help rebuild war-battered Syria, the oil-rich Gulf kingdom announced. Saudi Arabia has been a major backer of the new Syrian government, which seized power after Islamist-led rebels toppled longtime ruler Bashar al-Assad in December following 14 years of civil war. The delegation of some 150 investors and representatives of the Saudi public and private sectors, led by Investment Minister Khalid Al-Falih, attended a forum in Damascus. "The announced investments, valued at 19 billion Saudi riyals (about $5 billion), span vital and strategic sectors, including real estate, infrastructure, communications and IT, transportation and logistics, industry, tourism, energy, trade," and more, a statement from the investment ministry said. On Tuesday, the ministry had said the Damascus forum aimed to "explore cooperation opportunities and sign agreements that enhance sustainable development and serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples". Earlier this month, President Donald Trump formalised the dismantling of US sanctions on Syria, hoping to reintegrate the country into the global economy. He had already lifted most of the measures in May, responding to appeals from Saudi Arabia and Turkey. The US president met Syria's interim leader, Ahmed al-Sharaa, during a visit to Saudi Arabia the same month. Sharaa, a former jihadist, had also paid a visit to Riyadh in February in his first trip abroad since Assad's ouster. Earlier this year, Saudi Arabia and Qatar pledged to settle Syria's debt to the World Bank, totalling about $15 million. Despite vows to unify the country, the new government in Damascus has struggled to maintain order, with deadly clashes involving minority groups raising questions about Syria's stability. Bloody violence in Sweida province earlier this month started with clashes between Druze fighters and Sunni Bedouin tribes, but soon escalated, with Israel later intervening with air strikes targeting government installations. More than 1,300 people, mostly Druze, were estimated to have been killed during the fighting, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitor. Saudi delegation aims to invest billions in Syria: State media - Economy

A Saudi delegation of over 100 investors arrived in Damascus on Wednesday ahead of a conference aimed at securing billions of dollars in deals to help rebuild war-battered Syria. The oil-rich Gulf kingdom has been one of the major backers of the new Syrian government that seized power after Islamist-led rebels toppled longtime ruler Bashar al-Assad in December, after 14 years of civil war. Saudi state broadcaster Al-Ekhbariya said the country's investment minister, Khalid Al-Falih, was leading the delegation, which included 120 investors, aiming to ink agreements worth 15 billion riyals ($4 billion). On Tuesday, Saudi's investment ministry said the forum aimed to "explore cooperation opportunities and sign agreements that enhance sustainable development and serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples".
