Jennifer Aniston Opens Up About Gossiping With Gal Pals Gwyneth Paltrow And Sandra Bullock... Sometimes About Brad Pitt
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Jennifer Aniston is set to make a big return on the 2025 TV schedule when The Morning Show Season 4 is available to stream with an Apple TV+ subscription in September, and you can bet she'll be making more than a few headlines while promoting her character Alex Levy's upcoming trials and tribulations. Fans can also bet she'll be making a point of gabbing with and hanging out with her closest galpals like Sandra Bullock and Gwyneth Paltrow. Despite being one of the planet's most recognizable and beloved celebrities, Aniston hasn't ever fully embraced the limelight in the way that others have, as she doesn't view fame as being as vital a part of life as friendship, telling Vanity Fair that when she was in her 20s, she began joining women's circles with her female companions, which had quite an effect. In her words: That opened me up to the importance of women in each other's lives and how important it is to support and hold each other up when so many want to tear each other down. Jennifer Aniston Both Aniston and Bullock talked about their burgeoning friendship that started at some point around 2010 when they met during a mutual friend's wedding. In this case, 'met' means downed a bunch of shots with, and it was apparently such a positive experience that they've remained friends ever since, despite waking up the next day still feeling the alcohol. As Bullock put it: We were from that time in the business where no one wanted the ladies to be friends—it was about pitting everyone against each other. We were told we weren't supposed to do that—meaning like and respect and honor each other. Sandra Bullock Despite any such industry perceptions, Bullock and Aniston bonded over a shared love of many things, including practical jokes and interior design. Bullock also gives Aniston lots of love and credit for being so open and inviting, and her willingness to let others into her life. The two mega-stars also happened to both date Friends co-star Tate Donovan, which is also something of a throughline in Aniston's relationship with Gwyneth Paltrow. More About Jennifer Aniston 32 Times A Jennifer Aniston Character Had On The Cutest Outfit Well, not directly involving Tate Donovan, but rather someone else who did also appear on Friends: Brad Pitt, the famed ex-hubby of both Paltrow and Aniston. They first met when the latter's TV co-star David Schwimmer was filming the 1996 comedy The Pallbearer, and Jennifer Aniston noted that she "went to her and Brad's engagement party." But while Pitt is no longer romantically involved with either of them (and has completely different former marriage issues), the two women are still as close as ever. When asked if they ever talk about the Se7en star, Aniston responded gamely with: Oh, of course. How can we not? We're girls. Jennifer Aniston However, she also pointed out that their discussions revolve around far more than just past relationships with A+ stars. They're also quick to get tips from each other. As she put it: We're always swapping advice—'What are you doing for this? What are you doing for that? Do you have a new doctor for that?' Jennifer Aniston If only we could all be the kind of friend that Jennifer Aniston is to her nearest and dearest, hanging out on vacation and during her Sunday night all-star dinners. Which is to say, someone should get my name on that invite list, even if it requires an elaborate false persona. Meanwhile, on the TV side of things, The Morning Show Season 4 will debut on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, September 17. Solve the daily Crossword

Here's the 1 Netflix Movie I Can't Wait to Watch in August 2025
When it comes to movies heading to Netflix, it's a lot easier to recommend films we've already seen rather than something new or unknown. But there is one Netflix movie I can't wait to watch in August that I've never seen before, and it's called Night Always Comes. This is a crime thriller by director Benjamin Caron and screenwriter Sarah Conradt based on the novel The Night Always Comes by Willy Vlautin. So far, this Netflix original looks like it's going to be one of the best on the streamer this month. And there are three simple reasons why I'm so eager to see it. 13 Must-Watch Thrillers on Netflix Right Now (July 2025) The Trailer Teases an Intriguing Story At the moment, there's only a single full-length trailer for Night Always Comes. But it gets the story across in just over two minutes of footage. Lynette (Vanessa Kirby) is a woman in her 30s who is looking after her older brother, Kenny (Zack Gottsagen), who has Down Syndrome. Lynette had a deal in place to buy a home for herself and Kenny until their mother, Doreen (Jennifer Jason Leigh), spent all their money and left them high and dry. We can infer from Lynette's dialogue that Kenny has been removed from her care before, and she's determined to prevent that from happening again. That's why she's willing to revisit her shady past and dive into the criminal underworld to raise the money she needs before she loses everything. Judging from the clips, stealing, robbery and even attempted murder are just a few of the crimes she's willing to commit to get what she needs. Vanessa Kirby Is a Compelling Actress Kirby is having quite a moment this summer as one of the leads in The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Night Always Comes is obviously a very different kind of film, and Kirby served as a producer to help bring it to life. If the trailer is any indication, Kirby will bring the necessary intensity to her role as Lynette as she conveys her desperation and drive. 7 Must-Watch Netflix Movies of 2025 So Far, Ranked: 'Havoc,' 'Back in Action' and More Some of the scenes with Kirby in the city remind me of one of her earlier films, Italian Studies. While she played an amnesiac in that film, Lynette knows full well who she is in this film. The real question is whether Lynette knows just how far over the line she's willing to go to keep her family together. The Film Has a Terrific Supporting Cast It's doubtful that Night Always Comes had a large budget, but it does have a very talented cast of performers in support of Kirby's main character. Leigh is a veteran actress who broke out in Fast Times at Ridgemont High over four decades ago, and she's appeared in such cult classics as Miami Blues, The Hudsucker Proxy and The Hateful Eight. Gottsagen's list of credits is a lot shorter, but he had a breakout role of his own in The Peanut Butter Falcon in 2019. Watson's Randall Park appears to be playing a lover of convenience to Lynette in the trailer, and she seemingly steals from him after their liaison. Homecoming's Stephan James plays one of Lynette's friends and allies. The rest of the cast is rounded out by Julia Fox, Michael Kelly and even director Eli Roth in a rare acting role. If the script and the film itself can live up to the caliber of these performers, then Night Always Comes may turn out to be one of Netflix's best movies of the summer. Night Always Comes will stream on Netflix on August 15.
