Clutha sit comfortably on top of the table after a near-perfect first round.
Clutha were unbeaten in round one and have 34 points out of an available 35.
They locked away the South Otago Banner and Springbok Horns last weekend in their win over Toko at Milton.
Clutha head to Swamp Hen Park this weekend to take on an Owaka side who managed to secure their first win of the season last weekend against Lawrence.
The Art Bloxham Cup is on the line with Clutha going into the match as heavy favourites.
The Heriot Rugby Club celebrates its 140th jubilee this weekend with an action-packed weekend of rugby planned.
The Heriot premier side have hit a purple patch of form and now have two wins on the bounce and sit just outside the top four.
Their last-gasp win over Crescent last weekend showed a resilience that perhaps has been lacking in recent seasons.
Heriot take on Lawrence in the main event tomorrow, with the West Otago Shield up for grabs. Lawrence are the only side not to record a win in round one of competition.
Crescent are in the middle of a form slump with two losses in a row.
The Kaitangata-based side lost a close match in Heriot last weekend which saw them lose track of the teams in front of them.
One of those sides, West Taieri, travel to Kaitangata tomorrow in what promises to be a massive clash of two potential semifinalists.
West Taieri are coming off a successful jubilee last weekend but know their hard work has only started.
Toko host Clutha Valley in the last match of the weekend with Toko favourites to keep their spot in the top four after only their second loss of the season last weekend against Clutha.

Steamers still unbeaten after strong win over Valley
The top four are beginning to create a sizable gap from the chasing pack as the Southern Region competition nears the business end. All the top four sides claimed away wins at the weekend. Some had it easy, but others were made to work hard for their success. The unbeaten Clutha Steamers moved to a 10-game winning streak with a 50-20 win over Clutha Valley at the Balclutha Showgrounds. The home side did not have it all their own way in the first half and actually trailed as the match approached halftime, but a late try gave Clutha a 19-15 lead at the break. Clutha turned around their lethargic start by putting on a clinic of attacking rugby in the second, scoring some nice team tries. Clutha Valley ran out of steam and were not given much of a chance to show their worth in the second half. Toko held on to second place with a clinical 36-26 win over Heriot in the West Otago cold. The first half was an extremely tight affair, and the physicality was immense with both teams running into contact regularly, probably to try to keep warm. The match was tied 14-14 at the break before the visitors made the most of their chances in the second half. Heriot were guilty of some crucial handling errors in the second half and their poor discipline allowed Toko to stay in the right areas of the field and then score points. West Taieri kept in touch with the top two with a 49-14 win over Lawrence at Simpson Park. Lawrence paid the price early for some poor first-up tackling as West Taieri ran out to an early lead. West Taieri's forward pack made inroads, and their backline looked sharp, especially in the outside channels. Lawrence showed glimpses of structure but could only crack the defence once in the first half, and West Taieri led 28-7 at halftime. The second half was equally frustrating for the home side as they continued to give away possession and gift West Taieri territory and possession. This made the visitors' job easy as they ran in another three second-half tries, flanker Conner Jenkins sealing a hat-trick. Crescent converted an 85th-minute penalty to beat Owaka 37-34 at Swamp Hen Park. The first half of the match featured Crescent flexing their muscles with some strong carries and metres made up the middle, and the visitors led 28-17 at halftime before Owaka mounted an all-out assault in the second half. The home side held on to possession for the majority of the half and scored some nice tries. Both teams were guilty of giving away penalties, and the score was 34-34 deep into referee's time before Crescent were awarded the winning penalty. — Francis Parker

All Whites shock Ivory Coast
The All Whites have clung on to shock African champions Ivory Coast 1-0 in Canda - in a result that could be regarded as one of their best in the last 15 years. Winger Eli Just scored the winning goal just before halftime before New Zealand dug in to win a contest in Toronto on Sunday in which they were largely outplayed but scrapped effectively to preserve a clean sheet. They did it with regular captain Chris Wood playing as a substitute, coming off the bench in the 82nd minute to replace striker Kosta Barbarouses as All Whites management seek to control the 33-year-old's workload following a huge season of goal-scoring at Nottingham Forest. Defender Libby Cacace was captain in his place. It was New Zealand's first match since March, when they beat New Caledonia in Auckland to book their place at next year's FIFA World Cup. Playing their first ever men's senior match against world No 41 Ivory Coast, the 86th-ranked All Whites notched their first win over a team ranked that high since 2010. Victory was based on some inspired defending, led by Finn Surman, while fellow-centre back Tyler Bindon also impressed with his grittiness and goalkeeper Max Crocombe came up with a number of crucial stops. After seeing off a host of Ivory Coast attacks, the New Zealanders scored a counter-attacking goal through Austria-based Just in the 41st minute. The goal was set up by midfielder Marko Stamenic, who won back possession in the middle of the park and quickly picking out Just's run down the right flank. Just's first touch was sublime before an angled shot to the far left corner beat goalkeeper Badra Ali Sangare. The Elephants didn't start with their strongest side at BMO Stadium, but coach Emerse Fae introduced a host of leading European players in the second half in the pursuit of goals. One of their best chance came in the 92nd minute when Crocombe produced a reaction save to deny a close-range header from Brighton star winger in the English Premier League, Simon Adingra. Moments later, the final whistle sounded on just New Zealand's third win in 19 international matches against African opposition. The only injury concern was an apparent knee problem suffered by Callum McCowatt midway through the first half. He was replaced by Ben Old. The match was part of the Canadian Shield four-nation tournament. In the opening match, hosts Canada beat Ukraine 4-2. New Zealand play 25th-ranked Ukrainians on Wednesday morning in Toronto.

Crusaders see off Reds for spot in semis
It wasn't pretty, but the Crusaders have recorded a dominant 32-12 win over the Reds in Christchurch. Friday night's result means the Crusaders can sit back and watch Saturday's games to find out who they'll play in next weekend's semi-finals, while the Reds will be wondering where it all went wrong after such a promising start to the season. A good start would be to look at their scrum, which was smashed to bits by the Crusaders from start to finish in tough conditions in Christchurch thanks to the horrific weather battering the South Island. Crusaders front rowers Codie Taylor, Fletcher Newell and Tamaiti Williams. The Crusaders racked up a 5-0 penalty count early in the first half, with three coming off scrums which in turn were converted into excellent field position. Scott Barrett got the home side on the board first with a well-taken yet slightly questionable try from a turnover near the Reds' line. It certainly appeared that the All Blacks captain came in from an offside position but the referee and TMO seemed more preoccupied with whether Barrett grounded the ball, which he did, so the try stood. The only other scoring in the first half, despite a couple of decent Reds linebreaks, was when Tamaiti Williams crashed over in the 27th minute. The Reds really needed to score straight after the break if they were to have any chance, however by that stage the game had regressed into more of a kicking duel. A half break by Christian Lio-Willie out of nowhere set up the try of the match to Noah Hotham, with the halfback regathering his own kick despite the attention of several Reds defenders. From then on, the result was inevitable, and while the Reds were eventually rewarded with a couple of late tries, it was clear that they'd resigned themselves to defeat long before. It wasn't all perfect for the Crusaders, though. Williams' try was his last act before leaving the field with a knee injury, while Ethan Blackadder was yellow-carded for a needless high tackle. Still, the job was done, and the Canterbury-based side now sit one game away from ultimate redemption for last season.
