The ten snacks Australians miss the most once they leave the country
We're sure this top ten ranking will spark some serious snack debates (and make your tummy rumble), but here's how it was compiled. Researchers from international delivery company Send My Bag surveyed almost 500 Australians living across Europe and the USA to find out which beloved snacks expats are craving the most.
You can take the Aussie out of Australia – but not without a jar of Vegemite! Yep, this thick black spread tops the list as Australia's most-missed snack, making its way into 25 per cent of care packages sent from home.
Next up was Tim Tams, slam dunking into 22 per cent of snack packs shipped abroad from Australia. These choccie bikkies are downright delicious, and one packet is never enough – so we recommend asking for at least one each of Original, Double Coat, and maybe even Strawberry and Cream.
Randomly, chicken salt is the third most-missed 'snack' – something I didn't realise was unique to Australia. Who says we don't have culture? The remainder of the top ten features classic Aussie snacks, including Shapes, Milo, Twisties, Arnott's biscuits, Allen's lollies, Cherry Ripes and lamingtons. I guess you can't exactly mail a meat pie, otherwise that surely would've earned a spot on the list.
The top 10 most-missed Australian snacks
Vegemite – 25 per cent
Tim Tams – 22 per cent
Chicken Salt – 13 per cent
Shapes – 10 per cent
Milo – 9 per cent
Twisties – 7 per cent
Arnott's biscuits – 5 per cent
Allen's lollies – 5 per cent
Cherry Ripe – 3 per cent
Lamington – 1 per cent

If You Buy One Dress This Summer, Make It This Dissh Midi
As a summer person, my wardrobe goes hand-in-hand with Australian fashion brands. Being blessed with year-round sunshine, of course we can count on the Aussies to know how to create the best summer pieces. The thing is, though, sometimes my favourite labels come with a heavy shipping fee, so you can imagine my excitement when I found out one of my forever favourites, Dissh, was going to be stocked in the UK for the first time at Selfridges. Since spring, I've made the monthly pilgrimage to Bond Street (anyone who's travelled on the Central Line during a heatwave will know why this is an achievement) to see what the celebrity-loved brand has in the 'new in' section, and I can safely say I've never been disappointed. And it seems I'm not the only one, as there's one summer dress I can't stop seeing every time I go to a coffee shop, for a mooch in town or on my morning social scroll. Let me introduce you – or most likely, reintroduce you – to the 'Gabby' dress. So popular, the brown style sold out within days on both the Australian Diish site and at Selfridges, but I'm here to share the news that it's back – in all sizes. So, what's so great about it? ©Instagram/@sarahwisted The 100% cotton midi dress has an A-line shape, perfect for hot weather days when you want to avoid clothing sticking to your skin. The V-neck design with gathered detail is flattering on all chest sizes, the thicker straps mean you can wear your usual bra with it and it has pockets! No wonder it's selling out each and every time it gets restocked. According to the fashion insiders I keep seeing, chocolate brown is the most popular colour in the Gabby dress. Luckily, though, Dissh has recognised the demand and has already created it in soft sky blue (the new colour du jour) along with classic white. And if you want even more good news, you better keep reading. Shop: Dissh's Gabby Cotton Poplin Midi Dress In Brown The viral Gabby Dissh dress has not only been restocked in all colours, there's also a brand new shade to add to the collection this month: butter yellow. Yes, everyone is still very much on the soft shade hype, so I can imagine this is going to have the same sell-out power as the brown iteration. And for another sprinkling of good news from me, there's a mini version of this dream summer dress, and it comes in all four colours – brown, white, blue and yellow – yes, really! Shop: Dissh's Gabby Cotton Poplin Midi Dress In Yellow Dissh Gabby Cotton Poplin Midi Dress In Yellow View offer So chic –I would style this yellow version with jelly sandals and a straw bag for daytime and switch to red shoes and a snake print bag for after-dark. View offer Shop the mini Gabby dress below, along with some of my other favourite Dissh summer dresses, and they're all available at Selfridges, so you can also go in and try them IRL. P.S., I've tried on everything from jeans and linen shorts to dresses, and it's refreshing to find a brand that's actually true to size. P.p.s, luckily, Australian sizing is the same as UK (so a 10 is a 10), which makes it even easier to shop. Shop: More Dissh Summer Dresses Dissh Gabby Bitter Plunge-Neckline Cotton-Poplin Mini Dress Price: £175 View offer If a midi dress isn't your thing (personally, I'm partial to dresses in all lengths) then you'll be pleased to know the Gabby dress everyone either owns, or wants, comes in a mini version too. Also in the four colours (brown, blue, yellow and white) I tried on the sky blue style and I love how it looks with a tan. Price: £175 View offer Dissh Max Semi-Sheer Knitted Mini Dress Price: £205 View offer So, I originally saw this knit mini dress on one of my favourite fashion insiders on Insta (@nlmarilyn) and I was sold by the black version. That was until I saw the white style, that it, and now I'm left with the hardest decision – either way, though, I'll be styling it with a low waist belt just like Marilyn. Price: £205 View offer Dissh Florence Shirred Cotton Midi Dress Price: £205 View offer Got an al fresco lunch on the cards? Wear a black dress. Plan to have after-work drinks? Opt for a black dress. It never fails, which is why everyone can wax lyrical about the LBD. But, if you want a style that's ever versatile then it's midi dress. I love the textured racer top detail on this Dissh version. Price: £205 View offer Dissh Melrose Spot-Print Long-Sleeve Maxi Dress Price: £255 View offer Another one I've been saving on my Insta is this Melrose pretty polka dot maxi dress. I love how the sheer dress has a removable slip – I would keep it on for dinner and also style the dress without the underneath layer to add over swimwear for a holiday look that feels different to the usual crochet beach dress vibe. Price: £255 View offer Dissh Tahlia Pleated Woven Midi Dress Price: £215 View offer In the same shade of blue that the viral Gabby Dissh dress comes in, I also enjoy this strappy style with its pleated top detail giving that 2025 dropped-hem dress vibe we've been seeing a lot of. I'm only 5'4' so I know this would be a maxi for me, but this makes me like it even more. Price: £215 View offer Dissh Liora Boat-Neck Cotton Maxi Dress Price: £195 View offer The neckline on this black dress is basically a work of art, isn't it? Like I've said earlier, a black dress is one of the most timeless and versatile colours to go for so you'll wear this one on heavy rotation from here on out. Price: £195 View offer Main image credits: ©Instagram/@thealiceedit

Tammy Hembrow talks 'falling in love' again as she admits 'going at slower pace'
Tammy Hembrow has wowed fans by sharing some gorgeous new photos of herself in a blue printed dress as she spoke about 'finding love' again and 'going at a slower pace' Australian fitness model and Instagram influencer Temmy Hembrow has been hitting the headlines recently after she announced she was divorcing husband Matt Zukowski last month. The 31-year-old confirmed their split in a TikTok video, as she spoke opening about her 'heartbreak' over their decision to divorce. Tammy and Love Island Australia star Matt, 29, got engaged in December 2023 after just three months of dating. They then married on November 23, 2024, however decided to split and file for divorce just seven months later. Mum-of-three Tammy has now spoken about finding love again, however it isn't with a man. Instead, the social media star said she has "fallen in love" with where she lives again – which is Queensland, Australia. However, despite this, some fans still speculated she could have found romance again already, or is rekindling things with Matt. Tammy wrote in the Instagram post: "Lately I've found myself falling in love with where I live all over again. "The slower pace. The way so many people here have similar mindsets. Being by the ocean. Little moments of kindness from strangers (Had about 100 yesterday.) "I don't think I ever stopped noticing but lately it just feels impossible not to. And I just appreciate it more." She added: "The beauty is always there. sometimes we just have to slow down enough to see it. "(Also I feel like it should now be a universal rule to do scissors paper rock instead of fighting over a car park x)." She shared the caption alongside pictures of herself in a plunging baby blues printed dress as well as a photo of the ocean, her kids, coffees and a dessert. People were loving the post, as one person agreed: "A little kindness can honestly make my whole day." While another added: "Beautiful moments add up to a blissful life." A third chimed in: "Beautiful inside and out! We love this era of Tammy! All the blues too." However, others speculated the post was about her relationship status too. One person said: "I see signs you're falling in love with someone. I may be wrong." While another asked: "Are you back with Matt?" A representative for Tammy Hembrow has been contacted. Announcing their split on June 21, Tammy said in her TikTok: "This is giving me so much anxiety … I wanted to finally tell you guys that I am going to be getting a divorce." She then said that she didn't want to go into details about the split or 'bring anyone down." Tammy added: Did I think this was gonna happen? Did I want this? No. Obviously, when you marry someone, you do it thinking that it's gonna be forever. "And I blame no one but myself, to be honest. "I feel like I've made not the best choices when it comes to relationships. And I feel like I'm really good at putting on rose-colored glasses or just getting swept up in it all." Tammy previously told Vogue Australia that she and Zukowski had 'an instant connection' after meeting online. She said: "From the very first conversation, there was something that sparked between us,' she told the outlet. 'We were inseparable from that very first date!' Tammy has two children – son Wolf, 10, and daughter Saskia, eight – with her ex Reece Hawkins and three–year–old daughter Posy, shared with her former partner Matt Poole.
