Racegoers were left stunned on Saturday as French jockey Kevin Nabet was left clinging to a rival and skating down the track during an incredible incident at Auteuil.
The rider was unseated from his mount Lord Brett during the first race on Saturday morning's card at the French course, and was subsequently tossed into the air when the 6/5 favourite failed to jump properly.
As he came back down, the quick-thinking jockey reacted by reaching out to try and find something to hold on to.
He ended up grabbing on to the rein of opponent L'Amazone, which was ridden by Clement Lefebvre, who was closely following behind at the time of the incident.

Both horses then kept running down the straight, and Nabet somehow found himself with a hand on each horses' rein, and then started to slide down the course fully upright for around 20 yards.
He then slopped and turned into safety after hitting the turf as the other riders continued the race.
Commentator Darren Owen was one of those left amazed at the moment, said at the time: 'Look at Lord Brett's jockey there, hanging on for dear life.'

L'Amazone went on to finish fourth out of the five finishers, with Nabet thankfully coming away without any serious injury.

Read more: Alongside the French, Portugal are in Group C, with Poland and Georgia. Next up for Rui Jorge's side is the former, with the matchday two clash taking place this Saturday, June 14 at 8pm. How to watch Celtic's Paulo Bernardo in under-21 Euros for FREE The match between Portugal and the Poles will be shown live to watch for FREE on TV channel 4seven. You can also live stream the game via the Channel 4 app. Should Bernardo play, as is expected, it will be his 30th appearance for Portugal's under-21s. Reaching such a number would mean he becomes the most capped player for the age group, moving him one ahead of Everton and Valencia midfielder Manuel Fernandes. In other news, Benjamin Nygren is reportedly expected to join Celtic. The 23-year-old scored 16 goals in 32 games for Danish top-flight outfit Nordsjaelland last season. The Parkhead club have been linked with a move for Nygren over the past 48 hours, and now well-placed Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri claims that the player has chosen to join Celtic over Anderlecht following talks. The Swede is now expected to complete his move to Glasgow's east end.

Ex-Celtic midfielder's verdict on Odsonne Edouard return
The French forward left Celtic Park in 2021, joining Premier League side Crystal Palace after a successful four-year stint in Glasgow. Edouard scored 87 goals and provided 37 assists in 179 appearances for the Hoops. Read more: However, with his future at Palace uncertain, Allan was asked if his old club might be interested in their former star. Speaking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, Allan said: "I would, yeah. "Fantastic player. "It's obviously a position that Celtic will be looking to add to." Allan also suggested Edouard could bolster Celtic's attacking options alongside Daizen Maeda. He said: "I think we might see Daizen Maeda go back out to that wide area, where he was so effective in terms of his pressing and getting up and down the pitch. "He'll be looking to add to his goal tally come next season. "I think there's no question that it's an area of the park where Celtic need to strengthen." The 27-year-old Edouard has one year left on his Palace contract after a lacklustre loan spell at Leicester City. Allan, however, foresees a potential hurdle in a Celtic return: "I think the problem with the boys that are playing in the Premier League is that there's now the chance to go to the Saudi League, where they can earn ridiculous amounts of money." Allan also expects Celtic to scout for another potential star like Edouard.

Rangers coach Issame Charai leaves club after five months
Rangers coach Issame Charai has left the club after five months in the backroom staff. Charai joined the Ibrox side in January to assist former boss Philippe Clement and remained on the coaching staff throughout Barry Ferguson's interim spell. He was previously coach at French Ligue 1 side Strasbourg and has also worked at Al-faisaly, Beerschot, Sint-Truidense and OH Leuvens. Charai also managed Morocco's Under-23 side to the Africa Cup of Nations title. After Russell Martin's appointment as manager, Rangers say it has been mutually agreed for Charai to leave the club. Charai told the club's website: 'As I leave Rangers, I want to thank everyone at the club for their support during my time here. 'This is a really special club, and as it enters a new era, I want to wish everyone associated with the club the very best for what comes next. 'Above all, I want to thank the Rangers supporters for their amazing backing across the period. We had some high moments and some low moments, but their support was the constant. It is something I will always remember and be forever grateful for.' Rangers CEO Patrick Stewart commented: 'I want to place on record the sincere thanks of both the club and I to Issame for his work over the past six months. 'Through the managerial transition in February and beyond, he handled himself superbly and was a real asset to Barry and his staff during their period in charge of the team. 'As the men's first-team moves forth into this new era under Russell, it has been agreed between the club and Issame for him to move on. 'For whatever comes next for him, I want to wish him the very best of luck. He will always be welcome back at Ibrox.'
