VisitPittsburgh unveils 2025 Insider's Guide to the city ahead of 2026 NFL Draft, other events
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A new insider's guide to all things Pittsburgh has been unveiled ahead of the city's upcoming hosting of the 2026 NFL Draft and others events.
VisitPittsburgh unveiled the 2025 Insider's Guide to Pittsburgh, which is being called the first of its kind, on Wednesday morning.
The new guide is designed with travelers in mind and can be accessed digitally as well as being able to receive a pocket-sized, printed version of the publication.
"Pittsburgh is a city full of surprises, and we wanted to create a guide that truly reflects the diverse experiences found across our destination-and surprise and delight readers with a special edition Fan Guide to the 2026 NFL Draft," said Jerad Bachar, President & CEO of VisitPITTSBURGH. "By tailoring the guide to our readers' unique travel personas, we hope to inspire both day and overnight travel, while encouraging visitors to make the most of their time in market."
VisitPittsburgh says the new guide includes things like features of the city's 90 neighborhoods, a special section about the 2025 U.S. Open that's coming to Oakmont Country Club, the 2026 NFL Draft, profiles on local people from Pittsburgh, and spotlights on events coming to the city, among other things.
More than 120,000 copies of the guide are expected to be distributed around the city and through online requests.
You can request a printed copy of the guide online submitting your name, address, and email address. Delivery is expected to take 3-6 weeks before it arrives.

Advertisement The Patriots fired Jerod Mayo and brought in their former player Vrabel as the new head coach this season to try to bring back the grit, intensity, and discipline New England displayed during Bill Belichick's 24-year tenure. The first step for Vrabel, building leaders and relationships in his locker room. Fox Sports Taking Heat for Its Terry Bradshaw Decision
Saturday marked the final race in one of sports' most time-honored traditions: the Triple Crown of horse racing. Fans flocked to New York and tuned in on FOX to see Kentucky Derby winner Sovereignty defeat Preakness winner Journalism once again to take two of the three crown jewel races. Fans enjoyed the on-track action, but they were dismayed by FOX's decision to include an analyst from a completely different sport. Advertisement Former NFL quarterback and longtime NFL on FOX analyst Terry Bradshaw handled some of the pre-race festivities, and the Hall of Famer struggled through some of the presentation. He named Saturday's race as the "137th" Belmont Stakes, when it was actually the 157th running of the race. "I appreciate someone other than NBC having coverage of a big horse race, but Fox really needs to work on production. The crowd mic is potted astronomically high, and Terry Bradshaw has no place on the broadcast," said one sports journalist on social media. "Imagine being a horse racing expert and you get your moment on TV on one of the very few days your sport gets to shine and you're ready to show your wisdom and spread love of your sport to the masses and then you're placed on equal footing to Terry Bradshaw," another person said. Advertisement The tradition of adding crossover properties to horse racing is nothing new. NBC went all-out in 2025 for the Kentucky Derby, inviting and speaking with several celebrities and names from its several networks, shows and movies on traditional television. "NBC Sports needs the entire Triple Crown. Fox Sports is bad. Terry Bradshaw bad," another horse racing fan said. FOX may not be the preferred home of horse racing for the average fan, but in order to get the full Triple Crown experience, they'll need to deal with the network for at least a few more years. FOX and the New York Racing Association have negotiated a rights deal that makes the network the exclusive home of the race and all associated events on the grounds through at least 2030. Houston Texans sign former Cleveland Browns star running back Nick Chubb
HOUSTON (AP) — The Houston Texans have signed former Cleveland Browns star running back Nick Chubb, the team announced on Monday. Chubb made four Pro Bowls in seven seasons with Cleveland, but was limited by injuries the past two years. He suffered a left knee injury in Week 2 at Pittsburgh in 2023 and remained sidelined until Week 7 in 2024. He then played in eight games before breaking his foot and finished with 332 yards rushing and four touchdowns. Advertisement Chubb could join a backfield that features Joe Mixon. The two-time Pro Bowler had 1,016 yards in his first year with Houston after seven seasons in Cincinnati. The Texas won the AFC South at 10-7 before losing at Kansas City in the divisional round of the playoffs. The 29-year-old Chubb has run for 6,843 yards since the Browns selected him in the second round in the 2018 NFL draft. He is third on the team's career list behind Hall of Famers Jim Brown (12,312) and Leroy Kelly (7,274). Chubb rushed for 1,525 yards and 12 TDs in 2022.
