Stunned fans spot ‘lost' Simon Cowell cycling around South London – then quiz him on his safety
SOUTH London locals were left shocked as they spotted Simon Cowell cycling by himself on a busy high street.
The media mogul and BGT judge even had the gobsmacked fans panicking for his safety as he went without a helmet for the bike ride and admitted to being "lost" to passers-by.

In a clip shared by one stunned pair to TikTok, Simon can be seen pulling up
next
to their car on his bicycle as he stops for a quick chat with the inquisitive fans.
Despite the heatwave currently sweeping the UK, with temperatures largely staying above 30 degrees in the capital over the weekend, Simon opted to wear a large puffer coat for his cycle.
As he pulled alongside the car, a man from inside the vehicle shouted out: "Yes Simon!"

His companion was left in utter disbelief at the celebrity encounter as she said to the former The X Factor judge: "Are you really on a bike, I can't believe it.
"Why are you like this?," she beckoned to him.
She then questioned if he was "scared" travelling solo on the busy roads of South London.
Looking bemused Simon then revealed how he'd actually got lost on his travels but appeared to be going in the right direction now.

He said to the fans: "Well, I got lost but it [the bike] is quicker!"

Simon then flashed the duo a smile and put his thumb up before biking off in front of their car.
The clip went viral on TikTok racking up just shy of half a million likes.

Fans were instantly left questioning his safety as they praised the woman in the clip for making sure to check if he was okay.

Simon hasn't had the best luck when it comes to using bikes and has previously suffered a serious injury after taking a tumble from one just a few years ago.
The Sun told how in 2020 he was almost left paralysed and was left needing surgery after hurting his back in a shocking accident.

He crashed off his electric bike and broke his back in three places before undergoing six hours of surgery.
He missed injuring his spinal cord by a centimetre.
A source said at the time: 'He could have been looking at a life in a wheelchair.'
