PSG
In just two days, PSG will return to action with the European Super Cup final. Achraf Hakimi and which Parisian players should be in the starting lineup to face Tottenham?
A month after losing the Club World Cup final to Chelsea (3-0), PSG is already back in competition. On Wednesday night, the reigning European champions will lock horns with Tottenham for the European Super Cup.
For the final, apart from Lucas Chevalier, who will step in for Gigio Donnarumma between the posts, the rest of the lineup should follow a classic setup. The Marquinhos-Pacho duo is expected to anchor the center of defense, while Achraf Hakimi and Mendes will start on the flanks. One major absentee to note: Joao Neves, suspended for this clash, will be replaced by Zaïre-Emery.
Vitinha and Fabian Ruiz, mainstays throughout last season, are set to feature as well. Up front, Luis Enrique is sticking to his tried-and-true formula. The attacking trio of Doué, Dembélé, and Kvaratskhelia, who started in the Champions League final, should get the nod again.
