Zoomlion's ZCC9800W crane advances Morocco stadium construction
The ZCC9800W, a high-capacity crawler crane, has been selected as the primary hoisting solution at the site.
Its deployment is stated to be significantly advancing the structural assembly work for the stadium's main framework, with construction teams acknowledging its lifting capacity, precision control systems, and reliability under load.
After the completion of hoisting operations at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, the ZCC9800W will be shifted to the Grand Stade Hassan II Stadium site in Benslimane, Morocco.
The ZCC9800W is claimed to be utilised across various complex operating environments, including wind turbine installation, petrochemical construction, and large-scale infrastructure works.
It is said to have maintained stable and efficient performance in extreme conditions, from -40°C temperatures in Inner Mongolia to wind speeds exceeding 8m/s in Vietnam, ensuring precise load handling and operational safety.
In European projects, the ZCC9800W has met advanced operational and certification standards, providing a competitive heavy-lift solution for advanced economies, states Zoomlion.
Zoomlion, founded in 1992, is a manufacturer of construction machinery and provides integrated lifting solutions for infrastructure development in more than 170 countries.

Achraf Hakimi Another trophy for Achraf Hakimi with PSG. The Moroccan star responded after the UEFA Super Cup victory. After trailing 0-2 to Tottenham, PSG—fueled once again by a red-hot Achraf Hakimi—managed to turn the tables. The Parisians clawed their way back to draw level with the Spurs at the death. And it was PSG who ultimately triumphed in the penalty shootout (2-2, 4-3 on penalties). While he hasn't yet spoken to the media, Achraf Hakimi at least reacted on social media after Wednesday night's victory. The Moroccan full-back posted three fantastic photos from the evening, showing him all smiles alongside his teammates. CHAN 2024: Morocco – Zambia, the Atlas Lions under pressure
CHAN 2024: Morocco – Zambia, the Atlas Lions under pressure Morocco can no longer afford any slip-ups in this edition of the African Nations Championship (CHAN 2024). After kicking off the tournament in style with a 2-0 win over Angola, Hicham Dmii's men were caught off guard by Kenya (1-0). The result: to keep their quarter-final hopes alive, they now face a must-win clash against Zambia this Thursday at the Moi International Sports Centre in Nairobi. On the other side, Zambia are enduring a tough tournament. Defeated 2-0 by DR Congo and then 2-1 by Angola, the Chipolopolo are out of the running for qualification, but will be playing for pride—and their first points of the campaign. Historically, Morocco have dominated this fixture, but all the pressure will be on the Atlas Lions, who must find a way through without letting the occasion get the better of them.
