He explained that the national team's management was keen to include a number of promising young players in the camp alongside senior players to develop their technical level, noting that the national team's technical staff focused on enhancing the players' technical skills and raising their performance and physical fitness levels during the camp. He praised the players' great commitment throughout the camp, which was reflected in their tremendous efforts to improve their race times, emphasizing the club's keenness to develop its players and enable them to represent their country honorably in various international sporting events. Flaiteh praised the continued support of the Public Authority for Sport for the club, represented by its acting director general, Bashar Abdullah, which has resulted in significant development in all five winter sports supervised by the club. The list of players participating in the camp includes Adib Halawa, Musaed Al-Muzal, Jassim Dashti, Abdullah Al-Shatti, Bader Al-Sarraf, Bader Al-Mulla, and Fahad Al-Khalifi. Meanwhile, the Asian Handball Federation announced on Tuesday that it has selected Kuwait's Bader Al-Dhiab as its president for the next term, which will last until 2029, with elections for the remaining positions to be held in Egypt in December. Al-Dhiab said in a telephone interview with Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that his nomination for this position is a great responsibility and requires diligent and continuous work to achieve success in the first place. He added that he has already begun to develop a plan and strategy to advance Asian handball and elevate it to the global level through continuous support, development of the game, and assistance to federations to promote it. He affirmed his determination to work with officials to develop all areas of Asian handball, whether in terms of developing the technical side of the federations, supporting the referees' committees, working to develop them, or establishing intensive training programs at the highest level to develop the technical side of the game. He emphasized that success does not come alone, but rather through working with the entire group to achieve ambitions and translate them into reality. He expressed his sincere gratitude to the Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, for his great support in winning the presidency and for the work he did to achieve this. Al-Dhiab also thanked the other Asian federations for their trust and support, stressing that he always keeps Kuwait's name in mind and that his success means Kuwait's success first and foremost. KUWAIT CITY, July 30: The draw for the 2025-2026 indoor futsal season was conducted recently, with the presence of Dr. Saleh Al-Majroob, Secretary-General of the Kuwait Football Association, Faraj Al-Faraj, Director of Indoor Competitions, club representatives, and the administrative staff of the Kuwait Olympic team. The draw included fixtures for the league, the Federation Cup, the third edition of the Age Group Futsal Cup, as well as league and cup tournaments for youth and junior categories. Participating clubs in the futsal competitions include Kuwait Club, Al-Arabi, Qadsia, Kazma, Al-Tadhamon, Yarmouk, Al-Nasr, and Al-Sulaibikhat. Notably, the Kuwait Olympic team will make its debut in the Age Group competition as part of the federation's strategic plan to prepare and develop the team ahead of future commitments.
