Mac Mohan has been part of various hit and renowned films such as Don, Karz, Satte Pe Satta, Zanjeer, Rafoo Chakkar, Shaan, Khoon Pasina, and Sholay.

His father got transferred, and the family moved from Karachi to Lucknow. Following this, Mohan moved to Mumbai to pursue his dreams in cricket. However, to follow that, he needed money—and for that, he needed to work. Hence, Mohan started working in drama after his friend advised him.
Little did Mohan know he would also start receiving offers from the film industry. Mohan worked as an assistant in the film Haqeeqat, but he also played a small role with Vinod Khanna in the film Reshma Aur Shera. Though he became a part of several movies, his real recognition came when he featured in Amitabh and Dharmendra's film Sholay.
Mohan's downfall happened when the actor got addicted to alcohol and cigarettes. He became a chain smoker, which took his life. He was diaganosed with cancer and passed away in 2010.
