Anant Ambani, recently appointed as a whole-time director of Reliance Industries Limited, was spotted at Haridwar's sacred Har Ki Pauri on Sunday, May 4, along with his wife Radhika Merchant. The couple took part in the traditional Ganga Pujan at the revered ghat, marking yet another religious visits that showcases Anant's spiritual learnings.
General Secretary of Ganga Sabha, Haridwar, Tanmay Vashisht shared to ANI, 'Anant Ambani was here with his wife and performed puja of Maa Ganga and sought blessings… Along with being an industrialist, he is a flag bearer of Sanatan. We also pray for his happy and healthy life and that he continues to grow in his area and work for society and religion…'

In the visuals shared by ANI, the couple can be seen participating religiously in the Ganga Pujan ceremony, conducted under the guidance of priests from the Ganga Sabha. The further rituals and prayers to the holy river were performed with the support of temple authorities. As a mark of respect, the temple priests presented Anant Ambani with a sacred mala and a yellow stole during their visit.
For the unversed, Har Ki Pauri, also known as Brahmakund, is one of the most sacred ghats in India, situated in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. It is believed to be the spot where the river Ganga descends from the Himalayas and enter the plains. Devotees from all around the world travel to visit this ghat and take part in puja to seek blessings from the holy river.
On April 6, Anant Ambani reached the Dwarkadhish Temple in the early hours, after the completion of his 170-kilometer spiritual padyatra from Jamnagar to Gujarat, which was commenced on March 29. While speaking to ANI, Anant shared, 'This was a spiritual journey. I started it in God's name and completed it in his name. I thank Bhagawan Dwarkadhish and everyone who joined me along the way.'

Sub-inspector (SI) Udyog Nagar Police Station Mohammad Ibrahim told reporters, 'Bank officer Sakshi Gupta took Rs 4.58 crore from 43 customers' accounts. A case has been registered, and she has been arrested'. 'Sakshi Gupta had invested this money in the share market through a demat account,' the officer added. More details are awaited. (ANI)

We both expressed our appreciation towards the work done in finalising the historic India-UK FTA, which is poised to give further boost to our growing ties. We further discussed avenues to deepen bilateral trade and strengthen collaboration across various sectors to unlock the full potential of our Comprehensive Strategic Partnership,' posted Goyal on X. A day earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also met UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy and said his substantive contribution to the remarkable progress in comprehensive strategic partnership is appreciative. 'Pleased to meet UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy. Appreciate his substantive contribution to the remarkable progress in our Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, further strengthened by the recently concluded FTA. Also discussed global and regional issues as also cooperation in multilateral fora.' The UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy also met External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and posted on X, 'Great to see my friend S Jaishankar in Delhi today. We are advancing a new era in UK-India relations -- boosting trade and technology, tackling the climate crisis and providing greater security for our people.' During the meeting, UK FS Lammy expressed condolences over the recent Pahalgam terror attack and reiterated the UK's support in combating terrorism. Lammy also spoke about the recent progress in the India-UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA), underscoring growing education and trade cooperation. Offering condolences on the terrror attack, Lammy said, 'It is obviously also sadly the case that there has been a horrific terrorist attack since we last met and my Prime Minister wishes me to convey once again the deep condolences of the UK and a hand of friendship with India and support as we deal with the terrorism threat in a comprehensive manner.' Gandhinagar (Gujarat) [India], June 7 (ANI): Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, while inaugurating the new Development Center of Infosys at GIFT City, reaffirmed the State Government's commitment to advancing the AI industry by implementing artificial intelligence-based systems across the state. He stated that the establishment of an AI Centre of Excellence at GIFT City is aimed at creating a unified platform that brings together solution developers, experts, professionals, and startups under one roof. According to the release, the newly operational Development Center of Infosys at GIFT City will focus on delivering advanced financial technology solutions under the FinTech framework. Additionally, it will place a strong emphasis on global services and innovation. In addition, the centre will provide advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI-driven insights specifically tailored for financial institutions. It will also focus on delivering secure and transparent solutions for digital payments, smart contracts, and asset tokenization. Established with an investment of Rs32 crore, the Infosys Development Center is expected to create employment opportunities for over 1,000 professionals, further mentioned in the release. Expressing his gratitude to Infosys for establishing this Development Center in Gujarat, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel stated that GIFT City--envisioned under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi--has emerged as the nation's hub for technology and fintech, hosting several leading global IT, fintech, and new-age technology firms. He further added that the definition of technology has transformed over the past decade as a result of the Digital India Mission launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Under the Prime Minister's leadership, several policies and missions have been initiated over the past 11 years to give focused impetus to IT-enabled industries, semiconductors, and the electronics sector. The Chief Minister stated that Gujarat is fully prepared to lead in positioning India as a soft power leader and a knowledge-based economy. He also recalled the significant role played by Infosys founder Narayana Murthy in establishing 'iCreate,' an institution dedicated to guiding youth in the field of innovation in the state. On the occasion, Infosys CFO Jayesh Sanghrajka highlighted the company's growth journey, noting that Infosys, a global leader in consulting and IT services, was founded in 1981. With over four decades of experience in managing systems and processes for global enterprises, Infosys today supports clients in 56 countries and has a strong workforce of over 320,000 employees worldwide. He further mentioned that in 2024, Infosys was recognized as one of the best employers in India and, for the fourth consecutive year, ranked among the top 50 large companies in the country for women to work. On this occasion, Principal Secretary of the Department of Science and Technology, Mona Khandhar, IFSCA Chairperson K.
