Drayton Manor launches cheaper evening tickets alongside huge firework ‘extravaganza'
The Staffordshire theme park first opened back in 1950 and has been celebrating its anniversary year with lots of new offers - including later entry and huge firework displays.

Drayton Manor Resort has announced the launch of a new evening ticket, available every Friday and Saturday this summer.
Later entry will be offered from now until August 29, 2025.
Visitors can take advantage of the summertime evenings with full access to the park from 4pm.
All of the park's rides are open until 5pm and select attractions will run until 8pm.
The new evening ticket is available for just £19.50 per person for anyone aged four and upwards.
For anyone between the ages of two and three - tickets cost £10.
On Saturday 2 August and Saturday 30 August, evening tickets are £24.50 per person.
On these two evenings, guests get a little extra as they can enjoy Drayton Manor's 75th-anniversary fireworks extravaganza.
There are only two firework displays left to mark the anniversary celebrations, and both will start at 7pm.
One visitor who got to see the fireworks wrote on Tripadvisor: "We was fortunate to be here but for the late night fireworks and they were amazing. Such a great display, We can't wait to come back."

Drayton Manor Resort has over 100 rides and attractions to enjoy, including the newest rollercoaster Gold Rush, which opened this time last year.
The ride is part of the brand-new Wild West themed area called Frontier Falls.
Set in an old mining town, Gold Rush takes visitors around barrels and gold mining equipment so you'll feel like you're in the Wild West - all at a speed of course.
The rollercoaster is the world's first with "with two unique multi-directional experiences".
Riders won't know which route they'll take once they're in their seats - there are some parts that will take riders backwards.
Another new ride to the theme park is The Wave, which replaced Shockwave, the UK's only standing rollercoaster.
The rollercoaster has since been updated to suit younger audiences, but still reaches high speeds of up to 53 mph.
Day tickets for Drayton Manor start at £27.50 for anyone aged four and up - if booked in advance.
On the gate tickets cost £45. And children between two and three years old can get entry from £15.
Currently you can get two for one to Drayton Manor Resort and West Midlands Safari Park for £45.
This offer is available until August 8, 2025.

has teamed up with Line Of Duty and Black Mirror stars for an 'unmissable' new ITV drama called The Blame. The actress, 38, will turn into a detective to solve a murder mystery with a 'tangled web of lies' in the upcoming new show, which is based on Charlotte Langley's book of the same name. Fool Me Once star Michelle will take on the role of DI Emma Crane, while Line of Duty legend Nigel Boyle is a forensic technician called Brett Shergill.
