Video: Kellands School pupils celebrate Dons victory with football-inspired lesson
After Aberdeen FC won the Scottish Cup, Kellands School decided to mark the occasion with a red and white day.
Pupils from P1 to P7 donned the team colours to create a sea of red and white across the school.
Teachers organised a variety of fun activities and even a Dons-inspired lesson, with depute head Alan Souter helping one class expand their knowledge of the squad.
A video of the 'daft' lesson now has more than 250,000 views on Facebook.
'A few of us here are quite big Dandies so we obviously wanted to celebrate the game,' Mr Souter told The Press and Journal.
'I teach one of the classes on a Monday so I came in with my full kit on.
'The lesson was to wind up one of the other teachers, who is a Rangers fan.
'I said to the class 'let's play a little joke' and they were all on board.
'What you see in the video is two minutes after we came up with the idea.
'It was just a bit of fun.
'They did have proper spelling words as well!'
The staff at Kellands School have been shocked to see how much attention the video has gained online.
'We're in our own little world running a primary school,' Mr Souter said.
'But it's been really nice – and most of the feedback has been very complimentary.
'We have lots of close links with the club, so it felt amazing to celebrate.
'It's mad that it's gone a bit viral.'
Deputy head teacher Caroline Brunton added: 'We had a long-term relationship with the Aberdeen FC Community Trust and we've always maintained close links with the club.
'A lot of the kids are football fans, and we really push sport at the school, so it's nice to make a big deal of it with the kids.
'Lots of the children were at the game.
'One of our P5s was even a mascot.'
The teachers said the school was 'buzzing' as they celebrated the Dons winning the Scottish Cup for the first time in 35 years.
And to end the day, all of the classes came together to enjoy a Dandies Disco in the playground.

Bristol City's good start to season continues with Carabao Cup defeat of MK Dons
City – who won their Championship opener 4-1 at Sheffield United – took just six minutes to take the lead against their League Two opponents with skipper Knight's near post header from a Scott Twine corner looping in via a deflection. The Dons created their first clear chance in the 29th minute when an unmarked Will Collar mistimed his header from a Connor Lemonheigh-Evans cross and saw the ball sail over. Lemonheigh-Evans shot wide from the corner of the box, before the hosts threatened with Rob Dickie's header over the bar from Twine's 41st-minute free-kick. Substitute Emil Riis had a 50th-minute shot from Knight's through-ball blocked, before more brave Dons defending denied Mark Sykes soon after. It was 2-0 in the 61st minute when substitute Hirakawa controlled Twine's chip from the right to the far post and cut inside to find the roof of the net with a fierce right-footed drive from 10 yards. Substitute Josh Stokes struck the bar from 25 yards and another replacement, Sinclair Armstrong, twice went close in the final minutes – but another goal would have been harsh on the visitors.

Johnstone Burgh up and running in landmark Scottish Cup journey
Murdo MacKinnon's side ran out comfortable winners over Irvine Meadow in their first-ever tie in the competition. IRVINE MEADOW...1 JOHNSTONE BURGH...4 Johnstone Burgh enjoyed a Scottish Cup debut to remember as they marched into preliminary round two of the competition. The West of Scotland League Premier Division side got one over First Division opponents Irvine Meadow and former gaffer Jamie McKim on Saturday. Murdo MacKinnon's men will now face Whitburn Juniors for a place in the first round proper – the tie itself is a repeat of the Junior Cup final of 25 years ago which the West Lothian outfit won on penalties. MacKinnon was back in the dugout for the trip to Medda and was forced to make three changes with Scott Forrester, Kyle Lafferty and Allan MacKenzie replacing the injured Matty Grant, Stuart Faulds and Ciaran Diver. Ian McShane tested Medda keeper Jamie Barclay with a free-kick before the home side were reduced to 10 men. Kian Gilday was pulled down with referee Josh Hay deciding Lyall Holding had denied an obvious goalscoring opportunity and sent him packing. Burgh executed the resulting free-kick perfectly. Lafferty looked as though he would strike the ball, however, he stepped over it and fooled the wall who jumped. With the defensive wall disjointed, Blair Rossiter saw the perfect gap and he found the back of the net. However, Medda equalised on the hour mark to breathe fresh life into the tie. Keeper Luke Scullion's clearance was intercepted just inside the opposition half by Dale Moore. The left-back played it first time to Euan Baird who raced forward. From there, he cut back to Jojo Gillespie who knocked the ball into the net from close range. Burgh would soon restore their lead. A lovely cross from Aaron Mason found Lafferty who nodded home from close range. The former Rangers and Northern Ireland forward showed his class once more as he earned his side a two-goal cushion with 10 minutes to go. Two minutes later, substitute Aiden Gilmartin rounded off the scoring by hitting a sweet effort which whizzed past Barclay. Boss MacKinnon was delighted to see his side overcome what he admitted was a tough game. 'I thought it was a hard game but was well contested against two good teams,' he said afterwards. 'Irvine are a real dangerous side as they have a bit of pace at the top end of the pitch but there was good football played by the two sides. 'We got the right players on the ball at the right time. We took the game by the scruff of the neck after the levelled. Getting pressure on their backline [was important] and we looked to get players higher. Overall 4-1 is a terrific result.'
