Kitchener man facing second-degree murder charge in Dundas shooting death

The Hamilton Police Service has announced two arrests in the shooting death of a Dundas man.
Emergency responders received multiple 911 calls about gunshots in the area of 77 Governor's Road in Dundas on July 27 around 5 p.m.
When police arrived, they found an unresponsive man, 27-year-old Zachary Shuman. He was pronounced dead shortly after.
Investigators identified two suspects in the case and arrested a 30-year-old man from Dundas on Aug. 10 and a 27-year-old Kitchener resident on Aug. 11. They have both been charged with second-degree murder.
Police say both people they arrested knew the victim.

New Glasgow Regional Police responded to the two-vehicle crash at 12:05 p.m. Police say the crash involved a Subaru Outback car and a Kawasaki motor bike at the intersection of Marsh Street and Washington Street. The driver of the motorcycle was taken to the Aberdeen Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. New Glasgow police are continuing to investigate the crash. 17-year-old charged in shooting death of boy, 13, in Pimicikamak Cree Nation

A 17-year-old is charged with manslaughter after a 13-year-old boy was shot and killed on Saturday in northern Manitoba. The older teen was arrested shortly after the shooting in Pimicikamak Cree Nation. He was charged with manslaughter on Sunday, Cross Lake RCMP said in a news release on Monday morning. Officers were called to a home in the community, about 530 kilometres north of Winnipeg, around 5:40 p.m. Saturday, police said in a news release early Sunday afternoon. They were told the 13-year-old had been shot and driven to the nursing station, where he was pronounced dead. The 17-year-old was at the home and was taken into custody, police said. The investigation continues but no additional suspects are being sought, RCMP said. No additional information has been released about the incident.
