Culture Bites podcast, produced by The National, has won Best Entertainment Podcast in the 2025 Publisher Podcast Awards.
Now in its fifth year, the Publisher Summits and Awards recognise excellence across the global publishing industry, honouring innovation and achievement in journalism across digital, print, video and audio. Razane Jammal Makes Writing Debut with Children's Book "Lulu and Blu"

Yara Sameh British-Lebanese actress Razane Jammal has been enthralling audiences both in the MENA region and abroad with her different roles. Now, she has another facet to her repertoire: author. Jammal has penned her first children's book, 'Lulu and Blu." The book, illustrated by Lebanese artist Sasha Haddad, follows Lulu, a little vegetarian lioness who doesn't quite fit in. She feels misunderstood and lonely until she meets Blu, a friendly fish with a very different worldview. Somehow, despite their wildly opposite lives, the two become best friends. Available in both English and Arabic, the book is launching on June 25, and will be available for purchase at Antoine and Virgin Megastore in Lebanon, at Virgin Megastore and Bookworm in the UAE, Diwan Bookstore in Egypt, and online at Jammal showcased her acting talent in Marwan Hamed's blockbuster "kira & El Gin" — the third highest-grossing film in Egyptian box office history — for which she was awarded the Best Actress in a Supporting Role Award at the 49th edition of Cairo Film Society. Rana Atef On Thursday, Kevin De Bruyne completed his move to Serie A side, and the 2024/2025 Scudetto champions Napoli. The player's finished a historic run with English Premier League side Manchester City. De Bruyne will link up with former Chelsea and Tottenham manager Antonio Conte, who is head coach of the Italian champions.
