BAMBI: THE RECKONING Trailer Turns a Beloved Buck Into a Toothy Terror
We all remember the original story of Bambi and how it broke our hearts to see his mom die at the hands of a hunter. Nevertheless, Bambi does grow up to be a handsome buck who finds love and becomes the next Great Prince of the Forest. Everything ended with sweet joy and we could all sleep at night in peace.
Well, in Bambi: The Reckoning, his grief goes on a whole completely different path, which we see in this horror trailer. Bambi lost his mom and now he's on a quest to apparently murder every human being who crosses his path. He's also freaking huge with a mouth full of razor sharp teeth. Lord have mercy. This is not the deer you want to see, ever.
It is pretty short but here's a synopsis from Jagged Edge Productions:
After a mother and son get in a car wreck, they soon become hunted by Bambi, a mutated grief-stricken deer on a deadly rampage seeking revenge for the death of his mother.
We will have to see how Bambi became mutated but I can guarantee it is humanity's fault. Everything is almost always our fault. And honestly, who can blame Bambi for wanting to get revenge?
The film stars Roxanne Mckee,, Tom Mulheron, Nicola Wright, Samira Mighty, and Alex Cooke. Bambi: The Reckoning doesn't have a firm release date yet but it will hit theaters in Summer 2025.

Tommy Fury doesn't want daughter on Love Island
Tommy Fury wouldn't want his daughter going on Love Island when she is older. The 26-year-old boxer found love with Molly-Mae Hague on the 2019 series of the show and they went on to have daughter Bambi, now two, and the reality star admitted he isn't keen for his little girl to follow in his footsteps in either TV or sport. Asked how he'd feel if Bambi went on Love Island, he told the Telegraph magazine: "Oh, that's a good question. I don't even want to think about that... 'I'd do my f***ing best [to stop her]! I don't know. I don't know! I'll support her through anything.' And on the idea of her boxing, he said: 'No. She's too pretty to be a boxer. I'm going to take the black eyes and the broken ribs and the broken hands, so she doesn't have to.' Tommy and Molly-Mae split in August 2024 but later reunited and he's keen to have a large family. He said: 'I'd love to give Bambi a sibling.' Asked how many kids he wants, he said: "Forty. 'Me and Molly have had private conversations. I don't think she's quite on track for 40... 'Obviously, I'm not the one giving birth. But all I ever wanted to do from when I was a young boy, I just wanted to have a family and do my boxing and look after them. My family is everything. I don't care what happens in my life. I don't care if boxing goes. Because if it were to happen again, I've got my family.' Tommy admitted it was love at first sight for him when Molly-Mae entered the Love Island villa as a bombshell. He said: "As soon as I saw her, it was game over. She's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life. Inside and out. She is the best thing that's ever happened to me. 'She probably thought, 'Who is this guy? What is he doing near me?' I think if I was going on a date with myself, I'd be a bit like that.' Tommy only signed up for the show because he wanted a free holiday. He admitted of his motivation: "My fight had got cancelled. I could do with a holiday. I haven't got money to go. Don't forget — I'm not Bill Gates's son. I don't come from millions of pounds.'

'Winnie The Pooh' Voice Actor Slams R-Rated Horror Movie Adaptation
The classic Winnie the Pooh character is one of the most beloved storybook and animated characters of all-time. However, after slipping into the public domain, the character was reimagined as a horror movie villain in Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey . It started a trend that's led to other public domain characters to become similarly reimagined, and now classic Winnie the Pooh voice actor Jim Cummings has opened up to slam the R-rated adaptation of the character. Cummings went into detail about this new string of R-rated Winnie the Pooh horror movies while speaking in a recent interview at San Diego Comic-Con 2025. While he admitted to having only seen 'about 10 seconds of it,' Cummings still had strong feelings about the project and the trend it's started. Naturally as someone associated with the classic version, it's not something he believes should have 'much credit.' Here's what Cummings shared while talking to The Direct: 'It's… I don't really have an opinion of it. I saw about 10 seconds of it. And I think somebody always enjoys tearing down and stepping on somebody else's dreams and something that they love. And there's a… You know, it's kind of like the art movement out there. You've seen certain disgusting displays of things that people are calling art. And, I don't know, you know… I don't give it much credence. I don't give it much credit. It's easier to throw rocks than it is to carve out the 'pietà.'' Interestingly, while Cummings might not approve, that hasn't stopped the Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey films from being a success with other audiences. In fact, the films have not only done so well to launch their own film series, but they also prompted the creation of the Twisted Childhood Universe which includes other reimagined public domain stories including Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare and Bambi: The Reckoning . As such, there are still plenty of other projects on the way, so we'll have to see what comes next from this particular series. Whether you like it or have strong criticisms like traditional Winnie the Pooh voice actor Jim Cummings, the Blood and Honey franchise is here to stay. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates regarding the Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey horror film series and any other titles from the Twisted Childhood Universe as we have them.

15 Movies to Watch With Your Family to Celebrate 'Summerween'
Fact checked by Sarah Scott If Christmas in July exists, who says we have to wait until October to celebrate Halloween? While you might not be able to go trick-or-treating dressed in adorable matching costumes, you can buy your favorite candy, order an iced pumpkin spiced latte, and have a "Summerween" movie marathon for you and your kids. While we recommend saving the big thrills for October, there are tons of age-appropriate "Summerween" movies that are fun and not too scary. So, light your favorite fall-scented candle, blast the AC so it sorta feels like autumn, and enjoy our picks for family-friendly "Summerween" movies you can watch right now. Pre-K 'Summerween' Movies 'It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown' (1966) A Halloween classic, this animated film follows Charlie Brown and friends as they prepare to go trick-or-treating. Meanwhile, Linus has chosen to skip the festivities and wait in a pumpkin patch for the mythical Great Pumpkin. Snoopy also has a cute side-story in this film where he acts as a World War I flying ace. 'Pooh's Heffalump Halloween Movie' (2005) Winnie the Pooh and the rest of the crew in the 100 Acre Woods want to make Lumpy's first Halloween extra special. From adorable trick-or-treating adventures to not-so-spooky ghost stories, this pre-school friendly film is super wholesome (and has tons of good costume ideas for October!). 'Hotel Transylvania' (2012) Although not technically a Halloween film, Hotel Transylvania features tons of our favorite supernatural myths (Dracula, Frankenstein, etc;) in a way that's fun and approachable for kids to enjoy. In this animated film, Dracula's daughter falls in love with a human, despite his best attempts to scare him away from the monsters-only hotel. If your kid loves this movie, there are three other films they can watch on repeat until Real Halloween rolls around. Elementary Summerween Movies 'Nightmare Before Christmas' (1993) A classic film to watch during Halloween and Christmas (or Summerween and Christmas in July), this Tim Burton animated film follows Jack Skellington as he tries to bring the magic of Christmas to Halloween Town. Naturally, things go a bit awry for the Pumpkin King. 'Scooby-Doo! And the Witch's Ghost' (1999) Centered around Autumn Fest in a small town, Scooby and the gang come across an unexpected haunting and must solve the mystery before it ruins the celebration for everyone. While the movie doesn't focus on Halloween specifically (although there are plenty of Scooby-Doo! movies that do), it perfectly captures the fall atmosphere and includes some of our favorite Scooby-Doo! characters, The Hex Girls. 'Double Double Toil And Trouble' (1993) Ask any '90s kid, and they're sure to tell you that this Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen film is a must-watch during Halloween. The story follows the Farmer twins who realize their family might lose their house and decide to use their aunt's supernatural powers to try and solve their parents' money problems, only to have to defeat the forces of evil instead. 'The Little Vampire' (2000) Part comedy, part child-appropriate horror, this early aughts film documents the friendship of human child Tony and vampire kid Rudolph. Together, the duo must save Rudolph's family from a vampire hunter who is trying to track them down. 'Casper' (1995) When an afterlife therapist and his daughter, Kat, move into a haunted house in Maine, Casper the friendly ghost forms a friendship with Kat. Together, the two must navigate the differences in their relationship while warding off not-so-friendly spirits that also share the house. 'Monster House' (2006) In this animated horror, three friends decide to enter a haunted house to defeat the evil lurking inside. The house, which does not like children, especially not trick-or-treaters, does everything in its power to deter the kids before Halloween night. 'Spooky Buddies' (2011) One of the many spin-offs of the Air Bud and Air Buddies franchises, this Halloween film follows five puppies on a Halloween adventure to stop the evil warlock and save the town from inevitable doom. The plot sounds a lot scarier than it actually is. Tweens and Teens 'Summerween' Movies 'Halloweentown' (1998) When the three kids learn they're from a family of witches, the siblings decide to leave the human world and enter Halloweentown, where supernatural beings can live a 'normal' life. The first of several films, the story primarily focuses on Marnie, the eldest daughter, who must help her grandmother fight evil threatening to destroy Halloweentown once and for all. 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' (1997) While we're certain the 2025 version of this movie is just as good, nothing will beat the classic horror film starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Jr., Jennifer Love Hewitt, and more '90s stars. The slasher flick follows a group of teens as they try to survive a hook-wielding killer with a grudge against them. 'Hubie Halloween' (2020) Noah Schnapp, Peyton List, and Adam Sandler star in this Halloween comedy set in Salem, Massachusetts. The plot follows Halloween Helper, Hubie, who is often bullied for his eccentricities. Despite it all, he discovers a true crime and must try to solve it to save the town from any more future horrors. 'The Addams Family' (1991) While there are many renditions of The Addams Family, including several that are age-appropriate for younger kids, "Summerween" wouldn't be the same without a rewatch of the 1991 version starring Anjelica Huston, Christina Ricci, Raul Julia, and more. The film follows the story of the creepy, kooky family as an imposter infiltrates their home in an effort to swindle the Addams fortune. 'Haunted Mansion' (2023) A new take on the famed Disney World ride, this live-action film follows a woman and her son who hire a team of ghost experts to help rid her new house of the evil that resides within it. The film stars Danny DeVito, Jared Leto, Owen Wilson, Rosario Dawson, and more A-list actors. Read the original article on Parents Solve the daily Crossword
